The amount of fake videos and rumours being circulated on social media scares me. The way fake news have been circulating on social media, it is like some people want this country to turn to Libya. A boy that people were saying police bullet killed, his brother just came out to say thugs stabbed him in the neck.

Now, Adamu Garba and others are whipping up tribal sentiments. Trying to get the north to rise up. Please God o!

Which kind of life is this. I'm envying Nigerians in Canada right now. When you begin to have small hope in Nigeria, Nigeria will kill it.

This protest is turning into something else. I hope the protesters don't lose their advantage and goodwill.

Greediness yes. People want to get to the finish line faster. Who no like better thing. Then the economic situation of the country. People are looking for other sources of income. And all these fake and inexperienced businesses are taking advantage of it. Some businesses are using people's money to experiment. They don't generate enough profit to justify their returns. We all need to be careful.

As for me i have decided to invest in the US economy through RISEVEST and compound my interest long term. It doesn't make sense to make N1million from a ponzi scheme and lose N1million or more in another ponzi scheme. Slow and steady wins the race.

Onelovetayz:
Let's all be careful with all these firms that are coming out to source for fund with juicy ROI (that's the trend)

I can tell you that some are using the juicy ROI as a bait to lure investors. Thereafter, they will come up with stories when it is time to pay.

Better still, some will pay for the first returns and fail to pay for the subsequent ones.

What I believe is that, it is greediness that can make one to loose money to fraudsters. One can loose money on another ground right but greediness will always play a huge part in it.

Ire ooo!

Is the ROI payed monthly?

Kindly explain please
ROI is annually.

The rates differ per plan

Eurobonds: 10 - 12% per annum. (Low Risk)

US Stocks: 12 - 14%. (High Risk). Returns are not guaranteed. But last year this plan made 27%

US Real Estate: 13 - 15%. (Medium Risk). Last year this plan made 17%

We should also consider dollar investments. Inflation in Nigeria keeps rising. Coupled with naira devaluation, this erodes the little money we are making.

Do your research on RISEVEST. They have a website and a social media presence. They also have a telegram group where they teach you how to manage and grow your finances in order to be financial free. They offer you the opportunity to invest in US Stocks, Real estate and Eurobonds.

This is not a get rich scheme so don't expect money doubling.

If you need more clarification, you can get it on their website or telegram group though i can also be reached through my WhatsApp link below.

Phones › Buy A Phone And Pay In Installment by Phraences(op): 1:43pm On Oct 10, 2020
Please where can one buy phone and pay in installment?

Access Bank does device financing but they displayed their usual incompetence yesterday at the pick up store. The loan couldn't be concluded because my account had to be debited and the system at the pick up store kept showing pending after imputing the OTP generated. The whole day wasted.

Slot has suspended their installment payment plan for now.

So please where can one buy a phone and pay in installment?

You are very correct.

There is no CONSENSUS.

A tree cannot make a forest and a Messi cannot make a football team.

What can one person do? Especially if that person is not in a position of power?

Every election it is still the same APC/PDP. Same old story year in year out. They say cattle even vote in the north. lipsrsealed I repeat what can one person do?

And some people are blaming Nigerians for leaving Nigeria.

Let my people go! Let the good seed fly to fertile ground. Let them spread over the whole earth and multiply. grin

It is true there are opportunities in Nigeria but i just advise any Nigerian who is not yet thinking of travelling out. Save and invest as much as you can so you can afford to leave when you want to.

It is better to be rich and say "money is not everything"

It is better to have a back up plan and not need it than to have none when you need it.

When you have the key to your prison, you are already free. Well, unless your jailer catches you. undecided

DexterousOne:
No one is saying that it is not ideal to build Nigeria, or Africa in general

It's what we all wish would be the case

However
What you have refused to accept
Is that there has to be a CONSENSUS or will I say AGREEMENT amongst most of us to develop the country

But for most African countries
That is not the case
Especially in Nigeria

Jim Crow was defeated because there was a CONSENSUS that Jim crow must go

Apartheid died in south africa because there was a CONSENSUS that apartheid must go

Hitler was defeated because there was a CONSENSUS to defeat fascism

The Haitians became free and the first black country to liberate themselves through rebellion because there was a CONSENSUS that we are better than being in the plantation for sugarcane and being flogged koboko

Look at Nigeria
Even during our fight for independence
There was no consensus (because of the stance of the north)
And that stupid way has stuck with us till today

No matter what you Nigsrdumb think you can do to save or develop Nigeria
The very fact that there is no consensus in Nigeria that we should get a developed society
It WILL fail

That's what you have to accept
So you dont get disappointed when you get back
Many Nigerians have come back with lofty dreams

And ran away when they saw the reality

I personally would like to have a developed country here
And do what I can
But unlike you
I'm well aware that the absence of a consensus renders all individual effort futile undecided

So what is the next option after being faced with the reality
It's to find your way out if you can and want to

That is self awareness
Understanding your situation for what it is, not what you think it is

Malcolm's X and MLK would have had a herculean task in the achievement of civil rights, if it's the typical Nigerians they had to lead out of Jim crow undecided

But I believe you guys keep making the mistake of thinking you can move money between two currencies easily. Apart from devaluation there are currency loses. If you want to invest in naira, have a definite amount for that and then invest where you are.
Having money in naira and thinking of it in USD will only lead to heart ache.
The person who got his money in naira and invest in naira only has to worry about inflation and even the effect of that sef is over rated if you ask me.
If 1 naira was 1 dollar, nobody would really care. But when you earn in naira and save in naira, isn't the value of your savings in the real world affected every time the naira depreciates? Cos the naira depreciates in relation to another currency. Exam fees priced in dollars, imported products priced in dollars and anything originally priced in dollars, you need more naira to buy those things. The other day, someone mentioned that price of weavons she imports from China have now increased.

Investing in dollar can be good and rewarding but you must get your strategy right.
This might not be the best time to switch to dollar.
Please when is the right time o! When it was $380 - $400, people said it was not the right time, that CBN is making moves. That they will soon start selling dollars and the naira will rise. Later on they restricted forex for food and fertilizer. I don't know if that has helped. Exchange rate is still hovering around 445. Some people said when Dangote refinery is completed, the demand for dollar will reduce and naira will appreciate. That change is coming soon we should wait. But this country just seems to want to defy all economic indices. Who knows what the exchange rate will be like in 10years. I wish i had listened to the people preaching dollar savings when dollar was $360 and lesser.

I don't mean "scam" as in fraud or MMM. I mean "scam" as in not worth it for long term investment.

PS: If anyone here knows how I can get naira as dollars in U.S. Please let me know. Thanks.

Let me save myself from the next devaluation wave ooooo
