Had my interview yesterday. No be that white old woman interview me. Na anoda chinese-looking woman. Everything went smoothly, I was able to answer the questions that bordered on my course, why I don't want to study it here, neighboring countries to Germany, occupation of my parents, when I entered university, when I left, when I did NysC, the name of the city I am moving to, etc. After all they stamped my passport, collected my original certificates and I left. The woman made a mistake that I detected from the glass, using my details on the form of the guy that she interviewed before me, I noticed and called her attention to it and she was like omg, what an error, commending me that I have a "good eye".
I also received admission from the main school I want to go to. I hope all goes fine coz I have mailed the embassy, as advised by the woman that interviewed me, that I want to change school. Trier thanks for the admission.

Guy from my observations and inquiries, the city no too sure if you wan be hustler. By the way, it depends on the course. Dem gimme admission too.

Teflon1: Yes u can attend the interview without d money in ur blocked a/c...infact dat is what many ppl in dis thread are doing, but visa will be issued only after u hv funded it.

They will not request dat u drop ur passport, u will go with it...although u hv to leave behind all ur original documents until u are invited for d visa. I do not think ur visa chances would be affected by lack of fund in a/c as long as u hv met all other requiements.

I advice u to read previous pages from dis thread if u r really interested in dis tin..u will benefit a lot & all these questions u r asking hv all been trashed!

Is it possible to attend interviews without paying the 8040 euros? If yes, at the end will they request that you drop your passport or you will have to come back to drop your passport when you have paid the money? What are the chances of getting a visa when you atteneded interview without payment of money. Thanks.

By the way, you don't need a dorm account, you could transfer your money at the prevalent exchange rate the day you do your transfer through UBA Plc or Union BAnk. The cost for everything via both banks won't be more than 30K. Ask for Form A, provide all your documents and tell dem you wanna pay for accomodation, upkeep and books, etc.

Please if someone can take it upon himself/herself to find out the price per night of cheap hotels around walter carrignton area, It'll make sense. Me I stay in the far east, my friends house in lagos is very far from the embassy.
Secondly, for those of you going to schools around frankfurt and other areas close to berlin, please try to apply for accomodation now. It pays. Just contact someone in your school for advice. I just filled my hostel accomodation application forms today.
