3. Jacob, the father of the 12 tribes of Israel had 2 wives and 2 concubines namely: Leah, Rachael, Bilhah and Zilpah.
4. David, the apple of God's eye, had a multitude of wives. Infact, 2 Samuel 12:7-8 tells us that God himself gave David all those women as wives, and that if he wanted more, He (God) would have given him twice as many. Has God changed? Isn't He the same yesterday, today and forever?
5. Gideon, the mighty man of valor, had many wives who bore him many sons.
6. Elkanah, a levite, the father of Prophet Samuel had 2 wives: Hannah and Peninnah.

These are all men of God. And there are more. God was never against polygamy. I wouldn't say God loves it, but He doesn't hate it either.

He was willing to give David twice the number of wives and concubines he had. Let that sink it. Unless you think the Unchangeable God has changed, I dunno where y'all are getting these theories that polygamy is somehow a sin.
