You will never, ever, ever be a "rock star". The age of rock and glitz and glamour is over. Music is now distributed via internet and internet monoculture and has long since been unable to sustain itself as an enterprise.

Major venues need sponsors and partners to survive, as many of the comps and guarantees don't even cover the basic overhead for a show. You see, concert prices should be much, much higher. You should be paying about $500 a ticket to atrend a Davido concert at the O2 arena.

However poor pips need to be able to get into these shows to boost the crowd ambience of a live show, so the prices are artificially lowered through sponsorships.

Venues don't need an "official car" or an "official hot dog" or "soda drink" but they have them. They also all have weirdo names nobody stops and thinks about- Verizon Center or Dominion Energy Center, London's O2 arena, etc. That's because it all honestly operates at a net loss. Without those streams of revenue, concerts as you know it wouldn't exist.

Music just doesn't make money anymore because nobody pays for it.

The entire music industry life cycle is nearing it's natural end, where "artists" and their representation struggle to find new ways to monetize it. The age of the rock star is 100% over. What you have now is just media personalities propped up with inorganic fanfare and marketing with sub 0.1% of the population fan bases. Your dream isn't only dead, but it was never even an option. Even the acts you know so well are not making anywhere near what you imagine. It's a zombie industry which internet celebs are bound to upstage within the next 5-10ys.

Your average artiste is no longer interested in music as a primary revenue source. They are all searching for that trend limelight so as to sign up to be corporate wh0res from where 90% of their revenue comes from. As the internet displaces all other platforms of entertainment and every other aspects of our life as we know it, the next generation of celebrities will not be your typical artiste or actors but will come from places like Tiktok and YouTube.

If you really want to still cling to the dream of being a celebrity then you better start streaming and that's if you are pleasant in the eye or else better start training to be a footballer or a sports athlete .

Sometimes I do pity men folks seriously. Now that the wife dealt with him, people will tagged him a weakling , If he beats the woman back, same people that calls him weakling will crucify him for dealing with a weaker vessel.
