Mercy is always takiong on the most stoopid of all roles,watched one recently and it was titled dancing maid or so. She was a maid who liked dancing,even when she was crying.

Dumebi the dirty girl,lagos girl,cry of a housegirl,the royal maid,maid in battle,the maid,maid in the bedroom,the dirty maid,which kain maid be this; These are all movie titles and mind u,they all have parts 1,2,3 and four.

Waiting for the day mercy johnson will feature in an award winning movie. Won't blame her tho,she is the bread winner and she has people to feed.

[color=#000050]First of all you should bear in mind that we live in a contemporary African society. And as such we have cultures and traditions that we live by.
As much as I would opine that a woman shouldn't be the one doing all the house chores and all that , you can't deny the fact that there are some certain things that is expected to be performed by an African wife.

You don't expect the man to be the one cooking dinner when the wife is around or the husband should be the one washing his own clothes when he has a wife.
These things are primary roles a wife is supposed to tend to.

However, this doesn't mean the husband should try to lend a hand in the chores around the house.
And some men could be so lazy and inconsiderate most times and just sit and watch as their wife does everything.

But like I stated earlier, there are primary obligations a wife should fulfill. It's has and has always been our culture and it shouldn't change.

The importation of western material especially through media is one of the major reasons why women these days are beginning to have a change of mindset, which isn't supposed to be so.
The westerners have their culture and we have ours. We shouldn't throw away ours just because we feel their's is cool.[/color]

Okay, I met this pretty cute chick 3days ago then we exchanged numbers. Next day we went on a date, she told me all her story and blah, blah. I told her point blank that I am in a long-distance relationship that I just can't keep my mind off her, so I actually planned to date her but can't promise anything. Today, she has been disturbing me about telling her mum about me and I should promise to marry her. As a blunt guy, I said no. She is now angry.
