What are you going on and on about? Like I said, you are free to formulate what ever comparison you desire to justify killing innocent people.

All you're doing here is basically asserting that your terrorist and killers are better than others.

Unfortunately for you, at the end of the day, they are all cold blooded and blood thirsty killers, the reason they kill has no bearing on who they kill.

They are all common criminals,
For the way you think I have no reason arguing with you undecided

It is allowed. You can look into any paper when you are giving a speech so you don't flop.

If you are giving an impromptu speech then you don't really need a paper or typed document to read from, and besides its not everybody that has the skills of good oratory or speech.

He is the most Educated president we've ever had, . . , ,  . for the records tho.

The only comparison I care about is the fact that they are both terrorists and they both kill innocent people. You are free to make yourself feel good about what ever comparison, you desire, it just doesn't change the fact that they are all cold blooded killers and murderers.
You have also satisfied your self by ignoring the obvious.

If you can list out the demands of Boko-harams then we can start talking.

For God sake protest is the best way the masses can disagree with a certain Governmental policy, MEND was an organisation, they were fighting for development of their land and proper utilisation of the money being made from their regionon their indigenes. They kidnapped foreigners and demanded for ransom which is contrary to Boko-haram's meaningless bombings and their unrealistic demands. I'm not saying those two groups are no threat to citizens of this country but for every war fought, they should be a good ground to back it up undecided

@ OP , you are spot on and your immediate adversaries on the thread just proved you right and tried hard to drag you into the pit but you scaled through .   I think it's an issue of  either up-bringing, experience and what we decided to imbibe as as an individual.
We live in a world where the basics of communal living and responsibility is fast eroding and where we  have deranged Pride believe we are alpha and omega  shocked shocked  shocked accompanying that is the incorrigible nature.furthermore, we are fast loosing the intangible sense of respect for other poeple. Also I have observed that  we become tend to equate knowledge and eloquence with how much we are good at throwing abuses at each other.

If you are quick to abusing, defaming  and cursing people, you definitely be sensitive to innocuous  statements in the form of corrections and thus irrationally flares  defensively  at any coming in your direction.  tongue tongue tongue.

Let also note that ( in my own view) accepting a correction, is quite different from someone correcting perceived flaws.

Most Nigerians i've met are like 'Come on dont correct me, i know it all'! Forgetting easily that no knowledge is a waste and that 'Perfection' is only of God!

I love my Life for many things which acceptance of corrections happen to be one, since am not English, only had my Education limited to Bachelor Degrees, i thought there was a good reason for me to accept my mistakes both grammatically and whatsoeva.

Nigerians are Jxt inexplicable, Yeah our Colonial masters are the britons but that doesnt entail that we've known all English, that Soyinka bagged in a Prof Degree doesnt mean he wont make a mistake. undecided

Again this goes to show that coming from a poor background doesn't necessarily make you prudent. It certainly doesn't guarantee simple, God-given common sense.
Poverty will only opportune you to know how it feels, it won't guarantee you the courage to solve it, ; leadership has a lot to do with strong personality trait which is most times not built by poverty. He is too calm to handle the situation. undecided

Nigeria at this time, more than anything else, needs a leader that can inspire his people to change things. This speech by GEJ is not inspiring. GEJ himself if not inspiring. And I like the statement by one poster: God does not work for people. He works with people. Expecting God to fix Nigeria's problem is a wrong-headed idea. GEJ should roll up his sleeves and knuckle down. He can ask for God's assistance while working.

The poster is right. Many Nigerians think you hate them when you correct or criticise them. I criticise people based on principles and not sentiments. However in a sentimental society like ours, such behaviour is frowned-upon. You hear things like: "Even if he did wrong, you don't have to criticise him like that; he is your brother."
True but however if you need to correct someone and you don't want to embarrass them then you'll need to tell them in a matured way undecided
