Kobojunkie:The governing authorities....state authorities, the authorities that wield judicial, legislative and executive powers of the state. Tax? Seriously? Tax and tithes are not different according to you. Wow. I won't even have this discussion. A question, why was Cain's "tax" "rejected" while Abel's was accepted? Does that tell you that taxes, tithes, and offerings are one and the same thing? |
greenmaster:Stop letting the devil fill your ears with heaps of lies. Run to God while you still can and He will forgive you. |
I believe that premarital sex is a garden of different fruit, spices and flowers. Couples should explore their tastes but within the boundaries of decency and selflessness. Just as tastes differ, this principle holds true in the sexual life of couples. They should learn to identify what pleases their partner more and explore it selflessly. It is not always about you. A doctrine advocating sticking to a particular sexual style is rather dogmatic. I don't mean you should adopt insane sexual gymnastics, or the type that leaves your partner feeling like a slut or prostitute with feelings of being only appreciated for their body. All I'm saying is explore your interests, your tastes while putting the feelings and considerations of your partner above your need to derive pleasure. More importantly, it is not the style that makes the partner really happy. It is much those little acts that show you appreciate your partner you shower on him or her outside the bedroom that add that rare spice for a lasting fulfilling satisfaction which is rarely the sexual act itself. Those little kisses, texts that appreciate your partner's beauty and that shows you are missing him or her when you are apart, amusing and delighting each other in unexpected playful adult activities....as married couples, etc. Just enjoy each other and make sure it gives glory to God. |
CoronaVirusRelo:True that God does not need anyone's money. You cannot make Him rich or richer even if you gave all you had to Him. All the earth belongs to God. He is the Great Landlord. The money you make belongs to Him. The water, the sky, the sun, the stars, the moon, the gold, the silver, the natural resources, your very souls, everything you use to survive...all belong to Him. God is in His right when He demands a certain percentage of what you earn. It is not left to your charity. It is commanded. Why would God say that you rob Him in tithes and offerings? You can only rob a person of something he or she is legally or duly entitled. The money you make belongs to Him, not you. He demands, not begs, a little part of it for His church. He wants His church to grow, to reach out to people with the gospel, to feed His servants who He has separated for the duty of preaching His Word, and to feed the poor, the helpless, the widows...young and old. If you think it is up to your decision to give or not then you are sorely mistaken. You have robbed God if you don't...and God is not someone you want to rob. |
Kobojunkie:Was Jesus encouraging people to be insubordinate to the authorities? Don't forget, taxes and tithes are two different things. It is like saying apples and pineapples have similar appearance. |
greenmaster:God is dead...to you, and to whoever is blind as you. Anyway, need not talk much. You are already on earth, right? You....everyone...will outlive the stars. We are all permanent. Let's hear you repeat the blasphemy that God is dead, say, in 100,000 years from today. Yes, you are eternal and will never die in your soul state (not physical state). |
People think this recent spate of death is natural. It is not. The devil has intensified his evil efforts against mankind. Any wrong is almost always returned with life-threatening or fatal retaliation. Love has been relegated to insignificance in our society. God help everyone. |
Hoodrat:The Magi celebrated the birth of Jesus. The shepherds and angels celebrated the birth of the Saviour of mankind. It is not commanded; rather, it is a spontaneous response to a very rare occasion that has evolved into an annual event. |
So sad. The victim was a bosom friend to his killer for a long time and his life was brutally and cruelly cut short for mere ₦200,000. Prayer: May we never befriend our demise and May tragedy and evil forever remain strangers to us all the days of our long lives in Jesus name. Amen. |
alobright17:There are abundant scriptures where God encourages people to seek His wisdom. This is capped by the scripture verse that says that those who are...."led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God." To be led also means to seek directions or counsel from God concerning any endeavour or plan one intends to pursue. |
deavicky:You can imagine how people reason placing a golden medal on some evil piece of advice. The marriage institution is really under serious threat of relegation to private breeding facility. |
HonestJOE:Men really need to be given attention. I feel your pain. It is well. If you believe in Jesus then invite Him to take restoration and healing actions concerning your marriage....that is if you haven't done that. |
alobright17:That a person is a well-known servant of God does not mean they made the right choice of marital partner. Ever heard about John Wesley? His marriage was pathetic as given from the angle of an eye-witness. Kathryn Kuhlman.....ever heard of her and her marital life? Mike Murdock (another example of a man of God who fell in the trap of wrong marriage) once talked about his failed marriage (a very long time ago). He married from the fleshly point of view. On the night of the divorce proceedings that left him empty in that he forfeited his property to his Ex, he questioned God why he should be going through all this heartbreak and suffering. God then gently reminded him that when he had sought Him seeking to know whether to marry the then ex-wife, His answer had been that he shouldn't. Mike Murdock knew he was to be blamed for his woes because despite the fact that God had told him not to marry her his lust for her beauty overrode his reason that he went ahead to marry her... God is still the greatest matchmaker because He sees the end from the beginning. However, He won't force you to seek His will neither will He impose His thoughts on anyone. |
Nigeriafirstlad:Eve was not unruly or disrespectful to her husband. She did not deny her husband his conjugal rights. Maritally, they were an icon. Eve disobeyed God. She fell. Adam loved her so much and was willing to suffer the consequences with her. You have no idea how long they had lived in bliss in the garden of Eden before they fell. It must have spanned millions of years in total and maximum marital bliss. Your analogy is unrelated to the issue. |
Octopusssy:hahahaha...am sorry, but, the bolded...it's so funny. Like seriously? Quite true that folks like this are real but it is still almost difficult to believe people reason like this...that it is not important to ask God to know whether an intending union has His approval. The God who created every soul on earth. Please keep ignoring them. Your question is the very foundation of stability and durability or their absence in any marriage. Their attacking you is blatant display of ignorance....as clear as day. |
May God have mercy on his soul. |
Octopusssy:Most people who suffer marital woes did not take this simple but most significant and decisive action in choosing a marital partner. To many, it is a foolish venture to seek God...but they are clueless why their misery seem to multiply like locusts. |
Has anyone seen the testimony? Does it have any impact? Is there anything seemingly beyond one's expectation and understanding regarding the testimony? Christians, we need to wake up from our slumber. Do not let a sin as tiny and invisible as an atom be the reason you are disqualified. This may well be the video you need that is a manifestation of the grace of God in your life. Everything has to be judged according to the Word of God. It is the only standard of truth. |
hopefulLandlord:The mistake you unbelievers make is assuming God has an earthly nationality. It is like saying "Science" is a Caucasian, or a Negro, or that it has Finnish ancestry. Pathetic. God is God....His nationality is God, His language is God, His personality is God. Any Jew, African, German, Briton, Monrovian, Saudi Arabian, Iranian, Russian, Ethiopian, Nigerian, etc...who does not have his/her name in the Book of Life at their death will spend eternity in everlasting burnings...but whoever has his/her name in the Book of Life will spend eternity with God. |
Love her completely and overlook her excesses. She is your body. It is well. May God bless the work of your hands as long as they are legal. |
There is no such thing as God understands that you need to pursue sin. The air you breathe can stop at any moment, and you will stand before your Maker. Repent before it is too late. |
Each video in the links is more than one-hour long...just so you know. There are many wrongs that Christians do which by the standards of the world they are seemingly so insignificant as to deserve any serious attention. As a result, it has become a way of life. However, the almighty Father gives equal weight of importance to those wrongs that are visibly great as well as those wrongs that seem too tiny to attract any judgment. |
Has anyone listened to his testimony? Pastor Abraham Yakubu died in an accident. His soul went for judgment. His testimony is an eye-opener for Christians and the unrighteous. You can search for the youtube videos of his testimony but I want to recommend the following links: Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Final Edit: All links have been uploaded where anyone can find the complete video testimony in their series. |
The consequence of crowning evil leaders. They push Nigerians further below the poverty line with their evil policies dsigned to make them richer and fatter while Nigerians are crushed with scarcity of resources to survive thanks to the ceaseless increase in taxes direct and indirect...while also stashing bundles of cash in their homes as security against hunger...their weapon of economic oppression. Nigerians, vote wisely. Nigeria may never survive another corrupt leader |
spitting image of her father. I hope his dictatorial ideology did not survive in her this one she has joined APC.... |
Chelsius:the only point I see is Portable highlighting ignorance as his bff...as usual. |
VKN23:Shows you read only the caption. |
Kobojunkie:do you believe in the signs following the believers such as the ones I mentioned previously because your answer tilts towards the opposite? I want to understand your position. |
Kobojunkie:if you do as God commands why are you not healing the sick, raising the dead and casting out demons? |
A precious soul lost forever. Jesus is the only Ark of safety in a world that is programmed to self-destruct. |
