Mr I hear say, Arm Chair Judge, what do you know about governance?
I stand to be corrected. Amaechi is an appointed minister, wasn't voted. It's only proper he should be dismissed, replaced or swapped to another ministry as his principal sees fit.

So, Mrs know it all, please enlighten me more since you know all about governance.

We really need to reevaluate our priorities in this country starting mostly with the our public office holders. We can't be brandishing money up and down like this when the country and most of her people are deteriorating with neglect, poverty and absolute abandonment.
This culture isn't just right. Our mentality has to be reset.

UNN is one of the best schools in Nigeria.

If You are looking for an institution with mordern structures, I don't think UNN or any of it's Campuses, is d best place for it.
..

The kind of structures there, were built in the 50's....when many of us were not even born...
..

The school helps us to know the kind of structures that trended in the early 50's and 60's......

it's not the structures that matters, it's the kind of training and education offered there that matters..

HealthRe: 661 New COVID-19 Cases Reported, 137 Discharged, 19 Deaths ,June 20 -2523 Tested by pjc(m): 12:59am On Jun 21, 2020
VirusComing:
Last month my friend who was having symptoms of covid19, went to the nearest testing center where they collected his blood sample and contact details. They told him to go home, that they will contact him once his test result is out. He waited for one week, two weeks, they didn't contact him. He had to rely on self medication to treat himself and got better a week plus.

One month later (early June) when he thought everything was over (the corona virus scare), he received a call from NCDC Edo state that he is covid19 positive according to the result of his test. They arranged the time and day they will be coming to pick him up. He was told that if he should flee he would be place on police wanted list.

When they came to pick him up, no matter how many times he told them he no longer has symptoms of covid19 and was already OK, they did not listen him. They bundled him to the isolation center. My friend is currently at the isolation center as I type, despite the fact that he had long recovered from whatever illness he had.
Not that I wish anything ill to you or your friend but how do you know for certain that he's recovered. Clinical tests and proper diagnosis is what's required else he becomes a danger to you and his loved ones too. I hope he tests negative this time.

I have always believed it's time we Africa look inwards to provide solutions to our problems.

Proper analysis should as matter of urgency be carried out to ascertain chemical compositions and trial began asap in the presence of rep from the Madagascar. If all tests and results are thereafter found positive, then payments should be effected as per the invoice. Nigeria may then go into agreement to further make more purchase with t&c's that may include utilizing generated profits to further carry out r&d of verbal medicines, knowledge sharing between the two countries irrespective of the cost implication. Am sure we can always afford it.
HealthRe: Lockdown: Ogun Conducts Online Poll On Whether Lockdown Should Continue by pjc(m): 12:08pm On May 14, 2020
I went to the bank couple of days back, usually I will majestically walk into the banking hall, que on a line if necessary to carry out needed transaction. This time, consequent of the lockdown, after two weeks of non operation, the number and desperation to perform outstanding transactions has resulted to chaos and anarchy and had successfully rendered the aims of the lockdown useless with the constant shoving and pushing while everyone threw caution to the winds. The same applies to several markets and other public utilities.
The lockdown doesn't work, all government, state and federal should abandon the strategy and probably find an alternative otherwise leave be as we were. Things & people used to be more civil before the lockdowns than after.

What a shame of a country. Three successive fire outbreaks in crucial federal MDA's and there hasn't been any reports, fact finding or tangible explanations to the entire public and tax paying Nigerians.

The Nigerian police are continuing to prove how irrelevant they can be with our internal security challenges.

It was absolutely wrong to drag the boys mum into this. I believe El rufais son is above 18, so he should be fully and totally be held responsible not the mother nor the father.

However, for the mum to have initially sided with his son also indicts her as an accomplice.

Human rights and the Nigeria labour Congress should take up this and serve justice without fear or favor

PoliticsChadian Troops 'kill 1,000 Boko Haram Fighters' In Lake Chad by pjc(op): 4:35am On Apr 10, 2020
The Chadian army says it has killed 1,000 fighters during an operation against the Boko Haram armed group in the Lake Chad border region.

Army spokesman Colonel Azem Bermendoa Agouna told the AFP news agency that 52 troops died during the operation, which was launched on March 31.

"A thousand terrorists have been killed, 50 motorised canoes have been destroyed," the colonel said, referring to a large boat also called a pirogue.

Agouna said the operation, which was launched after nearly 100 soldiers were killed in a Boko Haram attack last month, ended on Wednesday after the armed fighters were forced out of the country.

It is the first official snapshot of the outcome of Operation Bohoma Anger, launched after at least 92 soldiers were killed on March 23 in the deadliest-ever attack by Boko Haram on the country's military forces. The armed group had mounted a seven-hour assault on a Chadian army base at Bohoma.

Reporting from the Nigerian capital, Abuja, Al Jazeera’s Ahmed Idris said: "The country is trying to help other regional powers and regional forces under a group called the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) to finally defeat the Boko Haram."

"A similar operation was conducted five years ago, in 2015, that decimated the Boko Haram population. They have regrouped since then, and attacked and killed several thousands in the process and regional armies in the Lake Chad area have been struggling to deal with the problem," Idris added.

Lake Chad is a vast, marshy body of water where the borders of Niger, Nigeria, Chad and Cameroon meet.

The western shores of the lake have been hit by armed fighters crossing from northeastern Nigeria, where Boko Haram launched a bloody campaign of violence in 2009.

'Shouldering all the burden'
Chad declared departments near the lake "a war zone" in order to give the military free rein for the offensive.

The four countries bordering the lake in 2015 set up the MNJTF, also including Benin, to fight Boko Haram.

But Chad, whose forces have a relatively high standing in the Sahel region, has shown frustration with the MNJTF following the Bohoma losses.

"Chad is alone in shouldering all the burden of the war against Boko Haram," President Idriss Deby said last weekend.

"It is not clear if this will be the end or the beginning of the end of Boko Haram in the region. Many experts believe it is going to be very very difficult to say that Boko Haram is defeated or will be defeated anytime soon because this is an idealogy that has taken foothold for more than a decade in Nigeria which is spilling into its neighbours," Al Jazeera's Idris added.

Separately, in Niger, the defence ministry in Niamey said its armed forces, in a joint operation with Chad, had inflicted "heavy losses" on Boko Haram in the lake region.

"Arms caches, logistical points and several boats were destroyed" and islands used as rear bases in the lake's marshland were "bombarded from the air," it said.

Landlocked Niger is facing attacks by armed group on opposite ends of the country - fighting that has spilled over from neighbouring Mali, and raids in the Lake Chad region by Boko Haram fighters.

Boko Haram's 11-year-old campaign has claimed tens of thousands of lives in northeast Nigeria and driven nearly two million people from their homes.

Technology MarketRe: Can Small Tiger Generator Carry 1.5 Hp AC by pjc(m): 8:19pm On Mar 13, 2020
First you need to understand this...Energy can neither be created not destroyed.
Inverter ac's are equipped with power electronics that literally converts AC power inputs into DC and then inverts them back into Ac that goes to the compressor. The advantages
1) It can run at variable input voltages and even at 'low currents' from Nepal
2) it doesn't require high starting current as compared to conventional ac.
3) it can work from 70 to 100% of it's capacity unlike conventional ac's that run at 100% only.

So for your case now:
For the 2acs to function optimally at 100% capacity, you need at least
1) 1.5hp ac will require 1.5kva
2) 2hp ac will require 2kva
Add both power requirements, you should have 3.5kva gen to run the both ac's.

Again, smaller gen like 2.5kva can equally power the two ac's without any issues on your gen but the ac's will only function at 70% of it's capacity

Lecturing isn't much time consuming, besides I don't really see it as same with other white collar jobs. You have more flexibility, you get paid monthly, add the fulfillment from being able to make positive impact in people's lives too. You can consider combining teaching and running your business, employ someone to assist during your busy hours likely.
