AdisaOwala:It's a Tuchel fetish. I don't have a problem with that sha as long as they are quality. |
Meanwhile, we are playing away to Gladbach today. Yeah, I know. Already, everything don dey go according to script. Gladbach are yet to win a game this season. They lost their best 3 players in Hofmann, Thuram and Bensebaini over the summer. This is easily the weakest Gladbach team in years. But watch them turn into Supa Strikas against us. I know better than to raise my hopes against this yeye team. Pep, Ancelotti, Don Jupp, Kovac, Flick and Nagelsmann all don chop L. Na Tuchel dey on the line. Maybe, Kane can help us break this jinx. |
Rarre:Ah! No make Bacteria8 and Devvy4 catch you oh! Things will be more interesting if PSG somehow fluke their way to the CL this year. Will he then stay or decide to leave? |
usbcable:Hey, Chairman! Long time no see. Hope you are doing great. You sha finally coerce the boy support Madrid. Why you no allow am choose Barcelona, the club of his dreams? ![]() |
Capaldi:LOL. If Bayern is a mess, what does that make Chelsea? January is only a few months away, we'll be fine. Tucheliban got us ![]() |
Kilishihunter, you no good oh. Omo, see receipts. Never seen a club so obssessed with one player. See as people dey fantasise. Funny enough, I won't be surprised if Mbappe ends up signing a new contract with PSG. The club is moving in a different direction and their recruitment these days seem more strategic and long-term. They are now really building a team around Mbappe. Instead of Neymar and Messi dragging the spotlight with him, he's now playing with his best buddies from the French NT, Dembele and Kolo Muani. No ego clashes and perceived disrespect. The squad is more balanced and there is a really good coach at the helm. All of this might convince him to stay another couple of years. |
How the club went 0/3 on deadline day is something that needs to be studied. The Palhinha deal is the most annoying. You had over 4 months to sign a DM but you dithered until the last 24 hrs to make a deal. The blame is totally on us. Fulham were never going to get a suitable replacement that quick. Our midfield na eyesore. Just 3 senior players. Kimmich, Goretzka and Laimer. One is notoriously injury-prone and inconsistent, the other is unproven. God forbid anything happens to JK. All these transfer fails is just building up to the inevitability of Tucheliban-ball. That mofo is going to waste Musiala playing him as an 8. The squad looks lean and when you factor in our injury history, it gets worse. Na to hang in there till January. |
Capaldi:We will have to wait and see then. Even at that, a 'finished' Neuer is still better than any option on the market right now. |
Capaldi:Palhinha is a welcome addition to the team. We haven't had a specialist DM since Javi Martinez. I like his aggression and tackling. The only drawback to the deal is his age and the reported transfer fee. We no need new GK. Neuer should be back between the sticks after the international break. Una guy Tuchel has no excuses now. The board has gotten him a world-class striker, and now the proper holding midfielder he's been crying for. Any smesme now, na sack he go chop. |
raumdeuter:Stanisic is not even assured of game time for Leverkusen way dem carry am go so why loan him? Tuchel is probably planning with Laimer as a backup RB, which in turn means we are stuck with Goretzka in midfield again, with no quality competition. If Mazraoui gets injured like he did last season, we are totally fuccked. Oh well, we still have the GOAT Bouna Sarr to save the day ![]() |
Tuchel will ruin this club with his stupid recruitment if he has his way. Abi which one be all these mid players we are been linked with recently? Yesterday na McTominay and Chalobah. Today na Eric Dier I dey hear. Surely, Kalle and Ulli are not going to fold their arms as this terrorist makes us a dumping ground for mediocrity. This is not Dortmund! |
BlueMann:Rodri is lowkey the best midfielder in the world rn. His consistency is unrivalled and that clutchness just sets him apart from the rest. You can see why Pep is willing to play him into the ground. That guy is the real definition of omnipresent on the pitch. When I dey tell andrewbaba444 say e better pass Busquets, e wan fight me. E go soon see the light ![]() |
Kane with the inevitable debut goal and surely, the first of many. BTW, can he start taking corner kicks for us? JK corners dey give me headache. |
Autocorrect sef don join bad gang. See as e turn Lavia to labia ![]() |
pkasso:This Harry Kane get coconut head, e no dey hear word E be like say Sanedaya wan get sense this season. |
AdisaOwala:Ah! Kuku kill us. . |
I use God beg Kane, he should forget anything playmaking or setting up players in this team like he does for Spurs and England. Just focus on banging in the goals and be as selfish as you possibly can 'cos these people go just dey waste im sweat. |
Smh. This game is a perfect example of why we needed to get Kane at all costs. Profligate finishing from Tel and co. BTW, shey dem use conceding penalty swear for these people ni? We don start again this season. |
Neuer's complicated comeback from injury is a bit worrying. He was supposed to be fit in time for the first game of the season but na another story we dey hear now. Man is 37, and the last time he had an injury this serious, it took him quite some time to get back to his previous best. He is an important figure in the team but we should be seriously planning for life after him. Nubel, who is the heir-apparent has been loaned out. . again. The guy must be tired at this point ![]() |
timbros:No way Al-Hilal would sign him on a one-year contract. Even Saudi mumu get limit. Something tells me Madrid will still cough up the cash before the end of this transfer window. |
Sabitzer off to Dortmund for 18m euros, plus add-ons. Bayern losing a player to their closest title rivals for the second year running. Where are the "Bayern is weakening the league" preachers? The Kane deal looks to be only a matter of time with his missus apparently house-hunting in Munich. |
andrewbaba44:Make Mane go cash out for that side, abeg. As his African brother, I'm in full support of the move. It's time for Mane to relax and be taken kiarof. Those projects in Senegal no go fund dia self oh. |
Android17:Your first three statements are fallacious as they come. When we apply the same argument to Haaland, you see how it falls short. "What was City missing that Haaland was to provide? Remember City never had problems scoring goals." Then why did they buy Haaland? Was it for balance? Pep switched to playing 3 CBs and Stones in midfield, but it is Grealish we should praise for providing balance. Him being a starter is not really a big deal when his only competition at LM was Foden who got injured and couldn't get back into the starting XI because Pep didn't want to tamper with a team that was on a winning streak. Coman's defensive work rate is just as good if not even better than Grealish's. He played a similar role under Nagelsmann last season and still came up with the goods offensively. Stop making it look like Grealish's role was some sort of game changer that deserves all of the applause in the world. |
andrewbaba44:Nah. Dunk on you and go on to win the CL, like we did in 2013 and 2020. Just try and make it out of the group stage this year so we can resume our normal business ![]() |
andrewbaba44:Kimmich will be earning more money at whatever club he moves to than what he currently earns at Bayern. Lewy leaving wasn't exactly a shock. It was an open secret we were flirting with Haaland and looking to replace him. He wanted a new adventure and since his long-time crush Real Madrid no look him side, he settled for you people. You mean by picking up free transfers? Continue attracting players while we continue to dunk on you. |
andrewbaba44:Like Bayern would sell their best player, just a year after losing the previous one. So you even think Kimmich would leave Bayern for your weak ass club? Lmao. If Kimmich eventually leaves Bayern, it will be to either Real or one of the big clubs in England. You can't afford his wages and certainly can't match his ambition to win. |
Capaldi:That Gallagher story is the weirdest shiit i've read this transfer window. That was how these stupid British tabloids kept peddling lies about us being interested in Mount. Since Tuchel took over, dem just force links with his ex-players at Chelsea. Gallagher should keep causing his chaos in England, we do things orderly here in Germany. Btw, you can get your Ballack regen in Goretzka for just 40m pere. You people need a Leon in midfield now that Kante is gone. |
BlueAngel444:Lmao. If you believe this story, then i have an airport to sell to you Goretzka, yes but Kimmich, no fuccking way. This Georg Holzner guy has been chatting shiit all summer, na another one of his stupid takes be this.Na so I see one stupid rumor linking Bayern with Gallagher. Connor Gallagher oh. Like what do these journos even take us for? |
Android17:Grealish did OK last season but to say he met expectations is ludicrous. You mean City paid 100m for shakushaku and vibes? LOL. |
Ibime:I know you like your DMs old school; those who read the game well and can put in the tackles. But that doesn't mean it should always be the case. The lines between DM and CM are blurring by the day and i think we are slowly moving past the age of the destroyer. At the highest level, it is not enough to just win the balls, you must be able to contribute to your team's attacking plays. See Partey and Guimaraes for example, they are not exactly destroyers but they hold their own at DM. Caicedo has a good defensive base and an adequate technical skillset which fits in with the well-rounded DM profile Chelsea are looking for. So I don't think he's a bad option, the only problem is the 100m Brighton are quoting. |
BlueMann:Na Kyrgios me dey wait for. Una go hear word that day, Kanye West-style ![]() |
andrewbaba44:A cynical part of me is saying "why didn't he say all this when he was on top of the world, balling and hosting sex parties with his buddy Kyle Walker" He was probably trying to block it all out. Well, it's better late than ever.Mental health in football is underrated. We all know think because these guys earn so much money doing what they love, that their lives are perfect. But e no easy. The pressure to deliver, the expectations from fans. I remember Per Mertesacker telling a story of he would go to the toilets several times on matchdays just because of the tension This is someone who played at the highest level for club and country. |
