Thank you jàre. It's an excuse for infidelity. I have an elderly male friend who is in his early 60s. We talk. His wife is almost the same age as him. He's a bit well to do so he can afford some luxurious home. He doesn't touch the wife anymore. They sleep in different rooms even. I was curious and asked him questions. He said as often as 3 months, 4 months before he checks her out. He has a side chic who is way younger, he prefers to do it with that one.

Having friends, no matter if they’re male or female, can really add some joy to life, as long as you’re clear about boundaries. I remember back in college living with three other girls—we had some awesome platonic friendships with a few guys. We cared for each other and had fun together, but nothing romantic ever came of it. It’s nice that some of those friends have turned into lifelong connections!

If self-control isn’t your strong suit, it might be a good idea to rethink these types of friendships, but they can definitely be rewarding!

Yes, support will always come from people, whether family or friends. At Christmas, there are some things I don't buy cause I know I'd get them as gifts. I don't buy rice, I don't buy groundnut oil, mostly food items. This year, for instance, I've got rice, spaghetti, sardines, beverages, detergent, salt, knorr seasoning, several bags of semolina, Egunsi, beans, tubers of yams, and a few more things.
It's always refreshing and relieving to have a great support system.
