I agree with virtually all the things you said about Benin Republic. I've been leaving and working here in Benin Republic for close to ten years now, and can say without mincing words that indeed Benin Republic, though a small country in terms of human population, is way ahead of my country, Nigeria, in the areas of constant and steady electricity supply, good roads, relative peace and security, law and order. And because the economic activities of Benin Republic is to a large extent dependant on the goods that comes from Nigeria, certain things are relatively expensive, e.g. transport fares, electronics, etc. To make matter even worse is the Naira depreciation against Fcfa for close to two years now. At the moment, the West African French currency, the Fcfa, has higher value than the Naira.

I believe with good leadership, Nigeria can indeed be a positive bellwether for the rest of African countries.

As an academic, one area that has seen much improvement over the years in Benin Republic is the higher institutions, especially, the University sector. When I first got into this country about ten years ago, I realized that the University sector, particularly, those being managed by Nigerians and a few Beninese who understands or speaks english language, was in need of some sort of professional and ethical facelift.
Hitherto, a couple of universities were unprofessional and unscrupulous in their academic activities; by the way, it's also synonymous to universities and other institutions of learning in Nigeria. But some of us stood up and fought against such abuse. And today, even though much still need to be done, a whole lot of sanity has been achieved due to government's intervention. To back this testimony, as a professional and principled person that I'm, I make bold to say that some of my students who graduated with degree certificates from Republic of Benin are working in CBN, DSS, NA, etc.; some have gone ahead to further their studies in Masters degree programs in some European countries with the B.Sc. degree certificates obtained from some credible universities in Benin Republic.

Although it is always tough to convince people that something good can come out of this so called smaller countries, I'm glad that some people seized the opportunity and dare to explore, today they are happy they did.

Take note; these so called "small countries" has made many Nigerians wealthy today. And it has also enabled lots of young "serious" Nigerians to achieve their educational dreams without experiencing any form of academic strike, cultism, insecurity or delay of admission due to JAMB frustration.

The much talk about "mushroom universities" in Benin Republic by some people in the past, is nothing worst than what is also tenable in Nigeria or in any other country. Alas, no country is immuned from having case(s) of unscrupulous institutions, the only thing is that the degree and hype may defer from one country to other.
So long as the degree program being pursue is accredited and the university is legitimate, irrespective of the country of study, small or big country, what matters most is for the individual in search of the degree certificate to be committed, serious and diligent with his or her studies. In the end, it's the stuff you're made of that will speak for you in the labour market, not the country.

Come to BENIN Republic for your University admission placement without JAMB. Mobilization for NYSC is guaranteed; very affordable fees, and instalments payment is allowed.
Graduation takes place just after 3 years of studies in Social Sciences, Arts and Management courses.
No academic disruption, and no strike all through study years.

You can apply for undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs.
Apply for direct entry for a shorter duration of program with ND, NCE, IJMB or JUPEB result.
HND conversion program is available.

Romance / Re: Close Eyes And Marry Her With Her Past by pland(m): 11:36am On Dec 28, 2021
THE KIND OF LIFE YOU'RE LIVING TODAY MATTERS...BECAUSE IT'S A LINK TO YOUR TOMORROW...Both Here And After!

Folks, We All Know That There Are A Lot Of Aberrations And Demonic Deceptions In This World That We're Living In.

There Has Been Ongoing War Between Light (God) And Darkness (Devil), Or, Simply Put, Fight Between Good And Evil. And In This Perennial Contest Or War Between Light And Darkness, On Who's Side You Chose To Be Is Very Defining In Either Promoting Or Demoting That Which Is Good Or Evil; It's In The Light Of This That We All Need To Be Vigilant, Bold-faced, Audacious And Very Mindful Of What We Speak Out And The Kind Of Action We Take Each Passing Moment Of Our Lives, So We Don't End Up Promoting What Is Not Supposed To Be Promoted.

Certain Phrases Or Statements That People Make, Which Are Directly And Indirectly Promoting And Perpetuating Evil In The World Today Are Phrases Such As..."nothing is new"..."forget what people will say or think"..."it doesn't matter"..."holier-than-thou"..."na you holy pass"..."it's nothing"..."just a little, nothing more"..."there is always a first time"..."you won't be the first"..."you are not the first"..."use what you have to get what you want"..."body nobi wood"..."what can't kill you can't break you" etc.

The Truth Be Told, It Pays To Be A Virgin As A Woman Or Man. Yes It May Be Challenging And Hard But Not Impossible To Keep Your Virginity Until You're Married. After All, Anything That's Good, Usually Don't Always Come Easy.

Let's Start To Promote Good Over Evil By Saying...

...the world may have been corrupted, yet, we still have and there are incorruptible people around.
...the world may be saying virgin girls are scarce, yet, there are still virgins, undefiled by any means.
...the world may have embraced it and called it "the normal norm", yet, we still see it as not normal because it's not just normal.

Just Look At The Kind Of People Companies And Corporate Entities Recruits As Their Brand Ambassadors To Help Them Promote Their Products And Services; They Engage People Of Questionable Characters In Moral And Godly Principles.

Let's Us Always Call Evil By Its Name Without Trying To Justify Why It Could Or Should Be Assimilated. And In So Doing, We Would Be Demoting Evil, But Promoting What's Good.

It's because someone or some people "at the top" (Ministry of Sports/NFF) are sharing in his (GR the coach) pay package, reason they don't want to sack him. Otherwise, it's obvious even to the blind, GR isn't good enough for the Nigeria super eagles as a coach; he's not tactically and technically sound, he's not proactive, he's not charismatic, he has no body language of a coach at all.

This programme "BBNaija" so called, lacks moral value, absolutely. Be it whatever or whatsoever the essence (idea) behind the show, all I know is that BBNaija is a brainchild of the devil. More than the evil bait tagged "material and financial rewards" which the show promises to give participants, especially the winner, the show has destructive agenda.

If National Broadcastin Commission (NBC) can't ban it for whatever reason, the minister of communication should. Also, an everlasting order for it to stay banned be passed by the relevant authority.

The show is just nonsense, illegitimate and immoral.

Youths, There are legitimate ways out there to make money with peace of mind, only if you're not the lazy type.

In order to achieve financial breakthrough legitimately, WIPPP is all we need to employ (Work, Integrity, Persistent, Patient and Prayer - WIPPP).

Nigerian youths have indeed missed it, totally, I should think. For me, the Nationwide #EndSARSNow protest is utterly misled and priority misplaced. Instead, why not channel energy toward protest to #EndInsecurityNepotism&InjusticesNow?

What we need is a overhaul (holistic and complete professional transformation of SARS), not to end SARS as clamored in some quarters, otherwise, criminals and criminalities will become a "justifiable" Norm, officially.

DON'T END SARS, BUT OVERHAUL AND REFORM IT ALONG WITH THE ENTIRE POLICE "force".

Stick to skin cuts bro. Never allow anything affect your self esteem.
I had the tiniest legs when I was growing up and people gave me all manner of mockery names. From atinga no blood to stockfish to curry stick legs. It made me wear trouser most times. But I played good youth football, so exposing my stick legs was unavoidable. The more they jeered the more I played better.
Good news is that my legs finally balanced up themselves with my body and people even ask if I model this days when I am on shorts.
Just always have skin cuts and fully enjoy your life. Nature is always busy with our bodies. Trust me.

Fantastic advice; you're a good individual for such an amazing advice given.

Good... Tekno or whatever he's called, should be punished for public disturbance and promoting immorality. Yes it's true that a lot of immoralities are everywhere, but that doesn't mean as a people or a Nation we should just fold our hands and watch bad acts take place without having to do anything to redress them, if we can. That certain things ain't working in the Country, yet, shouldn't warrant anybody any right to propagate just about anything morally wrong. Deterrence is needed, Tekno should be made to face the law which he has gone against.

Landmark expelled my friend this just concluded semester for taking a device (iPod) into the exam hall. He didn’t cheat with the device and He assured them to double check with his script.
They called him for a defence panel and the verdict has been dispatched- EXPELLED.
What can he do please.
Anyone with similar experience(s). Please useful information will be very much appreciated.
Is it possible to revoke this verdict? Can it be appealed and what is the chance that he will win: is there anyone he could speak to or something. We don’t mind punishment for taking the device into the exam hall but expelling is a capital punishment and He didn’t even cheat with the device.
Please help save a young man from sliding into possible tension and depression!

That's very good and a right decision too. You can pursue your educational career and still keep your current job at the same time.

There's independent learning programme/distant programmes leading to the award of a genuinely recognised degree certificate.

No, you're not late to further your educational career, as a matter of fact, you're young at 24.

Go for a B.Sc degree via direct entry with your ND.

Since you already have ND certificate; if it's Art, Social sciences or Mgt course that you studied, you will spend 4 semesters only, if given admission to study in any of the approved and accredited private Universities in Benin Republic.

Yes of course, a GENUINELY acquired certificate degree from any private University with good repute from Benin Republic can secure you admission any where, be it in Europe, USA, etc; and I say this with prove to show.

Some people need to understand this fact, that the issue of "substandard" education is NOT peculiar to Benin Republic alone. Even in Nigeria, University graduates are being churning out yearly with some of the graduands unable to justify the certificate they acquired. Substandard, be it in education or in anything at all, it's a global challenge, and no country should be summarily condemned, or people be discouraged from fulfilling their quest for a University admission placement from any where they choose to, so long as the necessary info and details needed to go to that place are satisfactory. Agreed, there are a couple of Universities that are engaged in some unethical practices, be it in Benin Republic, be it in Nigeria, even in UK or USA, but definitely not all the Universities in Benin Republic, in Nigeria or any part of the world are to be adjudged as being substandard as a result of a default by any other University.

I'm a University stake holder in Benin Republic, I could assist if you want. Please, this is a genuine gesture.

If you've ever come across his comments, he has been peddling hate speeches and stirring up disaffection and disunity in the country. I see him as a solo Boko Haramist. My fellow Nigerians, especially my good people from the Western part; resist this man and all that he represents. 2019 election a step backward from 2015 – Situation Room
Abiodun Alade Abiodun Alade

The Nigeria Civil Society Situation Room has described Saturday’s General Election has being a step backward from the 2015 election.

Situation Room, a coalition of over 70 Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), in its third interim report on Monday, also noted that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) “has not managed the election efficiently and significant shortcomings have been recorded.”

“The election has been a step back from the 2015 General Election and actions should be taken to identify what has gone wrong and what can be corrected. Situation Room urges voters and stakeholders to exercise restraint to avoid further loss of human life and to seek legal redress were aggrieved,” Clement Nwankwo, Situation Room’s convener said.

Among recommendations made, Nwankwo said that there should be an independent inquiry into the poor management of the electoral process by INEC with a view to determine the underlining causes for logistics lapses with a view of itemising operational deficiency that led to the initial postponement of elections on the 16th of February and logistical challenges with the rescheduled elections on 23rd February 2019.

“In addition to this, INEC is expected to inquire into the activities of its staff with respect to late arrivals to polling station; lack of understanding of processes by ad hoc staff; and the allegations of collusion between staff and politicians.

“The failure of the Smart card readers in identified polling units should be interrogated with a special audit of the results of polling units where 5% card reader incidence failure was recorded.

“Particular instances of contrived and voter suppression due to violence must be thoroughly investigated and perpetrators and their sponsors punished to the full length of the law. These allegations must be thoroughly investigated to restore faith in the process and address lingering social fractures that reinforce feeling of exclusion,” he said.

Situation Room also called on the international community to continue to lend their voices in defence of the integrity of the result, adding that “In particular we urge the United States and the United Kingdom to follow through on their earlier statement that they will sanction individuals whose actions undermine the election or have led to the death of citizens.”

Hello good people, the young man needs help and guidance and not condemnations, irrespective of whether his English is well typed/written or not.

Young man, to start with, it's important for you to know that certificate acquisition isn't enough, but what matters most and very necessary as well, is knowledge acquisition. And at times, it's inconsequential where your knowledge acquisition or gained is from; be it from College of Education, Polytechnic, University, Monotechnic, Technical College or Vocational Training Institution, etc. What matters most is God's blessings.

In any case, if you want, I could assist you with a University admission for direct entry with your current COE certificate; contact me via this email address (paradiseland001@yahoo.com).

Please, this is with good intention.
