I am curious to know how you came about this conclusion. It is true that some gay persons pride themselves in being Christtians but this really does not imply in anyway that every gay person is Christian.

Gays are in almost every facet of life. The other time it was the story of some members of the gay community in France stating categorically that they were about to open a gay mosque for worship. I know some gays who are Atheists and some too who are from other religions as well to include paganism.

The debate is serious here. The president of France made some promises to gays communities during election, on legalising gay marriage.

But it seems this will be difficult for him. The entire street was filled up with people in a peaceful demostration, they are people who are aginst gay marriage in church and the right to adopt kids.

The whole thing is becoming confussing for Mr president to decide.

Majority wins the vote. Even some atheists in France are against this law. Gay is a serious sin. Its rough and dirty.

How do we recieve this "right"? Is it by keeping to our old past? by repenting and still patially in sin? THe answer is no.
When one truely confessed Christ. He must give up all the old past and be renew in Christ, practice Christ ways in full...this makes Him/Her a Christian.

Miracles do not prove anything. All they show, they are genuine—is that he has certain powers.

Since the Jews stand thier ground base on these Scriptures and Muhammed claimed He came to correct things,
what in this list did He correct? Muhammed on the other hand even killed the Jews and instructed them to be killed till date.

Sura 5:51: “O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors: they are but friends and protectors to each other. And he among you that turns to them for friendship is of them.” This friendship makes any Muslim a enemy of their own and deserving of the same fate as the unbeliever. This is because God does not guide an unjust people.

Sura3 3:64: “Verily Allah has cursed the Unbelievers and has prepared for them a Blazing Fire to dwell in forever. No protector will they find, nor savior. That Day their faces will be turned upside down in the Fire. They will say: ‘Woe to us! We should have obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger!’ ‘Our Lord! Give them double torment and curse them with a very great Curse!’”

This contradicts:Isaiah 2:4 He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples.

Intolerance in the Quran

For those who reject [Pickthal: "disbelieve"] their Lord (and Cherisher) is the Penalty of Hell: and evil is (such) destination. (67:6)

Then leave Me alone with such as reject this Message: by degrees shall We punish them from directions they perceive not. (68:44)

Verily, We have warned you of a Penalty near, the Day when man will see (the deeds) which his hands have sent forth, and the Unbeliever will say, "Woe unto me! Would that I were (mere) dust!" (78:040)

What then is the matter with them, that they believe not? And when the Qur'an is read to them, they fall not prostrate, but on the contrary the Unbelievers reject (it). But Allah has full knowledge of what they secrete (in their breasts). So announce to them a Penalty Grievous, except to those who believe and work righteous deeds: for them is a Reward that will never fail. (84:20-25)

But if any turn away and reject Allah, [Pickthal: "But whoso is averse and disbelieveth"] - Allah will punish him with a mighty Punishment. (88: 23-24)

Those who reject (Truth), among the People of the Book and among the Polytheists, will be in Hell-Fire, to dwell therein (for aye). They are the worst of creatures. (98:6)

Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for Allah loveth not transgressors. And slay them wherever ye catch them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out; for tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter; but fight them not at the Sacred Mosque, unless they (first) fight you there; but if they fight you, slay them. Such is the reward of those who suppress faith. But if they cease, Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. (2:190-192)

From the context it would sound, at least in this passage, that the Qur'an prescribes fighting only in self-defense. However, this is not its only word on the subject. Some verses seem to prescribe fighting without qualification, except that the enemy be a nonbeliever.

Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not. (2:216)

Say to the Unbelievers, if (now) they desist (from Unbelief), their past would be forgiven them; but if they persist, the punishment of those before them is already (a matter of warning for them). And fight them on until there is no more tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in Allah altogether and everywhere; but if they cease, verily Allah doth see all that they do. (8:38-39)

O Prophet! rouse the Believers to the fight. If there are twenty amongst you, patient and persevering, they will vanquish two hundred: if a hundred, they will vanquish a thousand of the Unbelievers: for these are a people without understanding. For the present, Allah hath lightened your (task), for He knoweth that there is a weak spot in you: But (even so), if there are a hundred of you, patient and persevering, they will vanquish two hundred, and if a thousand, they will vanquish two thousand, with the leave of Allah: for Allah is with those who patiently persevere. It is not fitting for a prophet that he should have prisoners of war until he hath thoroughly subdued the land [Pickthal: "until he hath made slaughter in the land"]. Ye look for the temporal goods of this world; but Allah looketh to the Hereafter: And Allah is Exalted in might, Wise. (8:65-67)

But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practice regular charity, then open the way for them: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. (9:5 [often called the "sword verse"])

Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya [poll tax] with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued. Thats whyu you dont know that ibn Ishaq's book is a book of seeroh(stories of the prophet), not a book on compilation of hadiths. When it comes to stories, you gather from different sources, and ibn Ishaq also got some traditions from jewish sources... Hadith collectors like Bukhari and muslim rarely use materials from the seeroh cos most of the hadith appears to have questionable isnaads(chain of transmitters). In Islam, hadith transmitters have to be reliable ,specialised and accurate, thats why seeroh is an islamic literature not the book we follow. Critics like you dont know theres huge difference btw hadith and seeroh,pity...

You know that Jesus was adopted right? Moses was adopted also. Jesus was taken to Egypt when he was a baby, Moses also. King Herod killed several babies because of Jesus.

Observations from the Bible :

1- One thing we need to consider is that Qur’an does not call Mary ‘Sister of Moses’ but ‘Sister of Aaron’.

2- Aaron (PBUH) we know was the first in line for the Israelite priesthood.

3- New Testament clearly tells us that Elizabeth, the mother of John the Baptist (PBUH) was from the lineage of Aaron (Luke 1:5). Also it tells that Mary was a cousin of Elizabeth (1:36). Therefore we can easily call them both ‘Sisters of Aaron’ i.e. from the lineage of Aaron.

4- Infact we have evidence of the similar usage from the Bible. In Genesis 13:8 Abraham and Lot are called brothers while certainly they did not come from loins of one individual. It reads;
“And Abram said unto Lot, Let there be no strife, I pray thee, between me and thee, and between my herdmen and thy herdmen; for we be brethren.”
A certain Christian commentator, Adam Clarke says in his commentary to this verse;
‘[It means] we are of the same family, worship the same God inthe same way, have the same promises, and look for the same end.’
Was the same not true in case of Mary and Aaron? Were they both not from the same priestlyfamily and of same faith?
So the conclusion is that this is only a beautiful way of expression in the Arabic language and to try to twist it some other way speaks only of ones inner wickedness and that’s all!

And Miriam(r) was also addressed in the Bible as the sister of Aaron:

*} In the Bible we have the sister of Aaron called Miriam(r) who has a father called Amram(r)
*} In the Qur'an we have Maryam(r) the mother of Jesus being addressed by Her people "o sister of Aaron" who also happensto have a father called Imran.

~"The (people of the old age) used to give names (to their persons) after the names of Apostle and pious persons who had gone before them."~

*Meaning Maryam(r) was named after Miriam(r) which i don’t think any learned Christian would disagree because the actual name Mary derives from Miriam which inthe Hebrew language means"strong"
*Likewise the father of Mary(r)"Imran" was named after a pious person who had gone before Him called 'Amram' so really i don’t see any problem here it is exactly how the Prophet(s) has put it:
~"They was given names after pious persons who had gone before them"~

And even today we have many people around the world called Imran, Aaron ,Mary and so forth so i wonder how many familys past, present and future has a father called Imran with a son called Aaron and a daughter called Maryam? it is a very high possibility.
So the charge of Anachronism hasbeen clearly refuted by the Prophet(s) over 1400 years ago.

There is another problem if an orienlentalist wishes to pursue further with the charge of anachronism against the Prophet(s) and that problem is that the Bible does not give us the name of Mary's(r) father because according to Jewish law the genealogy’s for females are not recorded in the scriptures, infact the closest record of Mary's(r) ancestry was spoken by the Arch Angel Gabriel when He visited Mary(r) to give the glad tidings of the birth of a righteous son and the news of John the Baptist:
~"And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who wascalled barren".~
{Bible luke 1:36}
And Mary’s(r) cousin Elizabeth(r) was married to Prophet Zechariahs who were bothLevite's descending from the nobleancestry of Prophet Moses and Hisbrother Aaron , Elizabeth was also addressed as the daughters of Aaron:
