CrimeRe: Drug Trafficker Excretes 54 Wraps Of Cocaine by playmode(m): 2:38pm On Jul 11, 2013
Toluwarni: Cocaine weighing 5.9 kilogrammes has been abandoned by a suspected drug trafficking syndicate.
The drug was detected  by men of  the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos.
The consignment, which was hidden inside industrial equipment, originated from Panama, Central America.
A press statement signed by the spokesman of the NDLEA,  Mr Mitchel Ofoyeju and made available to tahe Nigerian Tribune on Wednesday,  stated that the  discovery was made just as a suspected drug trafficker, Onyema Watson Nnamdi, excreted 54 wraps of cocaine he ingested in Brazil.
Ofoyeju said “a luggage came from Panama. When nobody came forward to claim ownership, we invited other security agencies and carried out a search. It was in the process of the search that the cocaine was discovered inside industrial equipment.
The cocaine ingested by 36- year-old Nnamdi, weighed 875 grammes.
Onyema said  he had wanted to get married with the sum of 4,000 dollars which the baron promised to pay him.
According to him, “I have struggled all my life but I have nothing to show for it. I was in Cape Verde for six years before I went to Brazil in March 2013.
I decided to smuggle drugs to get money to marry and settle down.”

Chairman/Chief Executive of NDLEA,  Ahmadu Giade, promised to expose those behind it.
“Drug barons have no hiding place. This abandoned seizure is an indication that control measures are working and the country is winning the war on narcotics.
“This case shall be thoroughly investigated and those responsible will be exposed and brought to book,” he said.

If that Obama example was an official inspection of a guard of honour, then surely GEJ got more respect from China thna Obama got from South africa.

You are just a typical lying PDP stooge albeit an incompetent one.Obama was welcomed by a minister and other top ranking officials in the South African Government. As the picture above details he also inspected the guards of Honor.

The reason why the number of the Guards of honor was small was because the Secret Service asked the South African Government to present a small number of personnel because Obama arrived late in the evening and they wanted him to get to his car quickly. One thing you should know about me is that i can debunked a lie in nano seconds so if you want to lie make sure it is a damn good lie.You guys lie so much that you start believing your own lies undecided

Now show me where in the world a Guard of honor has been presented INSIDE A HALL to honor a visiting president. Just show me ONE example.I pity GEJ who hires incompetent people like you defend his image. You are not good at your job.
PoliticsRe: GEJ Is Received In China By The Chinese Asst. Foreign Minister by playmode(m):
I did not want to post any any comment here but i feel i need to educate these GEJ lapdogs who see nothing wrong with the way Jonathan was treated.

First off the protocol for receiving Presidents in all countries is that he must be welcomed by a top ranking Minister ,a Prime Minister or a President.

The visiting President must also be welcomed by cultural dancers or performers and he must inspect the guard of honor.

That is the standing protocol for receiving presidents all over the world.

Now let us look at what has transpired in China. From the little we know GEJ was received by an ASSISTANT MINISTER of CHINA.That is very wrong,he should have been received by the minister of Foreign Affairs.

Due to that break in protocol there was no Guard of honor available because as an assistant can not oversee and present a guard of Honor.

GEJ was left to his own devises for 24hours as if was a mere tourist visiting china.

Today the President of China now deemed it fit to welcome him with a guard of honor lined up INSIDE A HALL !

THAT HAS NEVER HAPPENED IN THE HISTORY OF MANKIND!

It is apparent that the leaders of china have better things to do than to respectfully welcome Jonathan properly at the Airport. If this does not worry GEJ supporters then you are not a real GEJ supporter.

I am not a fan of GEJ but i am furious at the way they treated GEJ. If i were GEJ i would have just turned around and flown back to Nigeria. Obasanjo would not have tolerated this nonsense from this silly chinco people. angry

PoliticsRe: Nigeria's Proposed Aerotropolis (Airport City) by playmode(m): 11:58am On Jul 10, 2013
CFCfan: The concept of Aerotropolis – the “airport city” – is visionary, but how will it be achieved? This is a valid question and one that is being addressed constantly as the concept moves forward.
Coming from behind, Nigeria aims to have a world-class aviation sector that is self-sustaining and pivotal to socio-economic growth. To achieve this it will transform aviation into an efficient, profitable, self-sustaining industry providing safe, secure and comfortable air transport as a preferred mode of transportation for all.
link: http://www.jetlifenigeria.com/2012/12/aerotropolis-nigerias-aviation-future/
I am for the development of Nigeria and this Aerotropolis concept sounds pretty cool.I also like the direction the Minister of aviation has been going so far.Clearly she is a progressive thinker or she had good advisers. That being said i am not so keen on this Aerotropolis concept.Allow me to elaborate:

I once had a business in Kempton Park South Africa near the O.R Tambo International airport and i had to move my business after 12 months due to the constant noise of planes landing or taking off.It was one year of hell because we literally had to close the windows permanently and sound proof the office space to prevent the sound of planes coming through. That however did not stop the slight vibrations which occurred when the planes were near. Based on my experience ,i will like the minister to consider the following:

(A) Will it be a good idea for offices or houses to be subject to Aeroplane noise and vibrations every 5 mins throughout the day?

(B) Will it be a good idea for mall goers to be subject to noise or vibration from planes when they are relaxing in the malls?

(c) Will it not be dangerous for offices and homes to be located near the airport in case of a plane crash?

(D) Will players on a golf course not be distracted by the sound of planes not to mention the heavy winds which will follow and blow away their hats or golf balls?

Madam Stella ,with all due respect please conduct a feasibility study on the Advantages and disadvantage of this idea so you don't end up developing another white elephant project which will not be attractive to Nigerian investors. It will be better if you created a new business district which will be linked to the airport by a special road but will be located far away from the noise of the Airport like they have done in China.Have a look at the Zhengzhou New area and Kangbashi New Area of China. Those look like better well thought out ideas.

Nigerian Business Tycoon Buys London Gatwick Airport
There is a difference between buying an Airport and MAINTAINING it.Nigeria has a very poor maintenance record. If you look at Nigeria for example you will see many roads with sand piles on their sides because they have not been swept for months. In South Africa by 4.am in the morning everyday you will see cleaners sweeping the streets and picking up rubbish.By 7a.m the street are spotlessly clean. Why don't we do that too in Nigeria? How hard can it be for us to clean our street and keep them clean? If we can't keep our streets and environment clean how can we manage a busy airport?

Allow me to show you North Korea a country that is poorer than Nigeria yet cleaner than Nigeria:

This is a ghetto in North Korea where the poor people stay, this building reminds me of jakande estate in isolo yet it is cleaner than jakande estate in all ways possible:

https://media.salon.com/2012/12/north-korea-window-on-north-korea.jpeg20-1280x960.jpg

Look at other pictures from POOR North Korea:

https://toptravellists.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/Landscape-Pyongyang-North-Korea.jpg

As you can see even though the North Koreans are poorer than Nigerians they somehow manage to maintain their superb infrastructure and keep their environment clean. We need to get our act together in Nigeria.

mekaboy: Millions graduate from the uni every year, yet Nigeria cannot manage its own airport. Waiting for the day the chinese will manage our judiciary, police, water, power, food and the almighty govt.
I will be very glad that day because of the following:

The judiciary will be fearless and be able to prosecute corrupt politicians and sentence them to death.

The police will be less corrupt as any policemen caught collecting bribes will be dealt with immediately.

The Chinese are one of the top 3 highest consumer of electricity in the world, their experience will benefit us.

In regards to Agriculture ,they will provide modern machinery and techniques that will greatly improve our production capacity.

As for them running our Government that wouldn't be a bad idea.Just compare China to Nigeria right now and see for yourself the massive gap between the two countries. In China Politicians do not openly embezzle money like they do in Nigeria. Politicians in China obey the rule of law, that is something we do not see in Nigeria.I assure you that Nigerians will leave a better fulfilled life under Chinese rule than under any Nigerian Government.

CFCfan: Their Beijing capital airport is amongst the best in world, so I'm not too fearful of how they'll manage MMA.
However, I also agree that it's somewhat disconcerting that Nigerians can't manage their own airports! Recently, FIVE South African airports were named amongst the top 10 in Africa; And guess what? They are all maintained by South Africans. undecided
What you have said is true but the reality is that South Africans put their country first before their pockets.I rather have a competent Chinese foreign firm managing our airport than greedy incompetent Nigerians who are only interested in collecting bribes every chance they get.We put ourselves in this position due our own greed so we have to live with it.I am not a fan of GEJ or his Government but i commend the minister for this move as long she is not getting kick backs from FRAPORT.

onitshaigbo: Yes, our brothers may have smuggled drugs and have committed, but they are NOT bad people. They're just trying to support their families and give their children a better chance at life in this harsh, unforgiving, cruel world. Drug smuggling doesn't directly harm anyone. If it wasn't us Nigerians who smuggle them, it would be the Pakistanis, Filipinos, and even oyibos.

China has very harsh penalties for drug offences (including death), and this has caused the rewards for those that succeed to be very high. For someone like me, struggling in this corruption-stricken Nigeria, where the government is both apathetic and incompetent, to afford finer things like a BlackBerry or an iPad or a Range Rover will forever be out of my reach if I don't risk it.

I am glad you posted ,at least sane people who read your comment will realize why we Yorubas want the country to be split. Here you are proudly boasting that Anambra boys are never caught when they traffic drugs and that you know some drug dealers who have done this successfully. You even go further to boast that the dead drug dealer was going to buy you a tablet.I don't know if you are sane or you don't have any shame but you are surely a disgrace to Nigeria and your tribe.

Now let me ask you one question ,do you know what drug addiction does to people? Do you know how many lives your drug dealer friends have destroyed in South Africa? It is karma that caught your friend and he got what he deserved.Let them know that many more of them will die.

Now let me give you a head's up so that you can pass on the message to your drug dealing friends. The South African Government has created a special anti narcotics unit to tackle Nigerian criminals in particular. This law enforcement unit is made of both armed South African officers and Nigerians who are undercover agents .All those your brothers are going down one way or the other.I assure you that many Anambra criminals have been arrested in the past and many more will be arrested or killed if they resist arrest.Tell them now to leave the country or face the consequences.
