I find it hard to believe women are surprised when men end up treating them roughly later on down the road... Im the only guy i know who still "toasts" chicks in class and stuff, but do you know what i do when a notice a girl likes me?... i ignore her for a couple weeks and talk to every other chick in the class, avoid eye contact with her and ask her stupid pointless favors and borrow her stuff and after about a month of doing this crap... i ask for her number. I actually feel bad about all this, but posts like this reassure me that i'm doing the right thing. You gotta soften em up, before you chew ![]() |
Smartie gurl: whatch you talking 'bout?toasting is outdated now... that why most men, atleast here in the U.S, dont do it. Girls like you just waste time, and make the process alot more complicated than it needs to be. |
Aint no body got time to toast anymore. I suppose its outdated |
ladies be carefull about doing this kind of thing... it slowly builds a sense of resentment and quite frankly out-right disdain in men. You led the dude on and then you shot him down. Next time he sees a "pretty girl" he is going to flat ignore her. If you wonder why men seem to have so little patience for female behavior its because of the little things like this. If u have no interest it getting with a guy just ignore him and don't waste time anyway i gotta commend you for not giving him your number, it good that you ended the game there ![]() |
Ma'am in my honest opinion who look o.k for a yoruba girl, probably better than 90% of the people commenting. but Nairaland is not that kinda website, ud better take u pics down unless u want more insults ![]() |
I disagree with feminism because its ideologies are founded on B.S and innacurate statistics. ... but by no means is traditionalism a better solution. After my mother had me and my brother she quit her job and became a stay at home mom for several years. she now says it is the most lazy and unproductive lifestyle imaginable... thats why she started working again. I'm sorry, but when the children are past a certain age a stay at home mom is nothing more than a glorified mooch... This is not 1820 where women had to wash cloths by hand, do dishes by hand or even cook dinners from scratch. As much as i hate feminism, i will admit that the traditionalist system was extremely outdated and incompatible with modern life in the 60's ... and it is 100x more incompatible with life today. |
khiaa: When you get married you become as one, so what is his, is hers and what is hers is his.lol, just go to sleep. Cheat if you want, just stop wasting nairalanders time |
Don't get me wrong... i'm not in support of it, i'm just saying that is the justification most cultures used to have. From a financial standpoint it does not make much sense for a family to send thier daughter to med school, almost 100k in total, for her to end up as a house-wife. |
A friend? was this a chick or a dude ![]() just make they they delete it while u are on good terms and you will be fine. I guarantee 90% of unclad photos never get shared if both parties are responsible |
^ no... they simply don't own the house. lol ![]() How you gunna cheat on a man while your living in his house? |
pc guru: hmmmm today must be my lucky day, am not sure who to bash first the OP for Generalizing or the misogynistic AssH**** ? oh well lemme start Everybody cheats, and if one is caught cheating its up to the other to take actions in their hands, I think the Book supports divorce under infidelity. also for the A.H comments seriously ? i wasn't expecting something less dumber than thisWhy dont you stop crying and whining about "misogynistic AssH****" And clean the se.men off your mirror. Normal straight men are very intolerant of cheating, its in our DNA and was handed down by evolutionary biology. That statue is a masterpeice. and @ that poster of yoruba gods... what exactly are they selling, religion or dick? |
What about concepts like "possibility" "estimate" or "calculate? There are just going to be some concepts that cannot be expressed in a language that is still in same the form it had before modernization. African language have a miniscule amount of words (concepts) when compared to languages like english |
There is yellow chinese semen flowing though your veins. ![]() |
http://books.google.com/books?id=Xuq7QCmY6jQC&pg=PR9 Did you read that link? the chinese called east africans "the worst of barbaians and the ugliest of all slaves" lol damn.. that was raw. |
The funniest part about this discussion... is this is why most cultures didnt even bother to educate females until very recently... They figured it was a waste of time and money because the ladies would always revert back to a man to take care of them. Were they right ![]() |

Nigerians don suffer. just dangle a carrot infront of the donkey and he will be forever satisfied. |
If not minerals, coal, oil or w/e |
Years ago I would have scoffed at this thread. Upon further reflection the OP is right. The problem though is that there are parties with a stake in maintaining the continent's reliance on the global economy. They will use any means to keep the machine running. For instance, Europe and China are tussling over Africa's resources and have used debt, fiat currency, infrastructural "aid" and military force to maintain it. African leaders are handicapped by their corrupt addiction to cash revenues and thus need the aid money. They also want the infrastructural glam that shows their involvement in the global rat race but think they lack the manpower to do so. Hence China. We are in too deep at this point.
Thanks for that, what many people don't realize is that the rest of the world needs globalization, but we dont. If isolationism cannot succeed any where else in the world it can in Africa. There is no other continent that has everything it needs for development within its borders. The middle east cannot leave globalism because it would run out of food, China cant leave because it would run out of minerals, Europe cannot leave because they would run out of oil. But Africa has all those things, and there is nothing the world can give us that our brains cannot create ourselves! |
O.k you are talking about the embargo act. Thats a good point, but you are ignoring the fact that Africa's situation is different. We export almost nothing but natural resourses. That means we could stop most foreign imports and the rest of the world would still have to buy from us. |
Maybe i am argueing with myself, but the point i am trying to make is that Africa cannot develop within the globalist framework and so we must leave. I understand that people think isolationism is too extreme a solution, perhaps it is, but no one here has put forth a more realistic plan than that. Like i said to you earlier, i agree that a stronger tariff system and protectionist policies are the way to go. About your point about Jefferson, are you talking about when the U.S imposed huge tarrifs on European machinery imports in the mid 1800's? While you are correct it was an unpopular policy, especially with the agriculture sector, that decision was basically the birth of the American industry ... the benefits of which we see to this day. |
This is why i say your points are mute. Even if africa's leaders were the best in the world, how could they realistically move the continent to the top of the capitalist pyramid, when without us at the base, the whole system will implode? What do you think would happen if Africa suddenly became industrilized, where would the rest of the world get its natural resources from? When Africa starts to see real industrilization the entire system of globalism will collapse, bringing everyone back to square one. Do you think China and the west will let that happen? This is why i say we need to abandon this system and find our own way. Africans are always complaining about the government, bad leaders etc. But don't yall realize that capitalism is supposed to function well when the government is not involved? Did the American government have to build the U.S steel industry, standard oil, or the railroad corporations? The only reason Africa cannot create industry without the help of the government is because globalism has created a market so competitive (via economies of scale) that indigenous industry cannot start-up without government assistance ....This is how globalism forced Africans to rely on the government for things we should be doing ourselves. Globalism has negated the benefits of the free-market for indigenous industries and relegated most of the continent to the bottom of the pyramid, so far none of you have even tried to dispute this. |
When you organize this info into a pyramid, you realize that Africa forms the base the capitalism. The only reason Russa is colored red, is because of its oil sales to europe, eastern europe because of its cheap labor. globalism stands on the back of africa
|
The second Africa as a continent leaves the base of the globalism the system will implode. Do any of you dare debate that with me? Globalism functions like this: The bottom produces raw materials - The middle produces manufacutes goods- the top creates service and technology If the countries of Africa ever developed globalism would loose it legs, that is why africa must find a path to development outside the globalist system. |
Well, like i have stated previously the title plan of total isolationism is a little exaggerated, if you read through the thread you would see that this idea is mainly about tarrifs and protectionist economics. So we actually agree on that point. But i want to ask you a question... what makes you think Africa as a whole can ever rise from the bottom of the capitalist pryamid? A pyramid that only stands on the backs of African resources. All your rebuttals are mute until someone gives a better plan than what is seen in the title page. |
