Guy, I tell you if you encounter some of them and their mentality, all form of sympathy will dry up. To many of them, children is more of a status symbol, or pawns to gain sympathy. My organisation has been invloved with them so I know. We provide education on the need to have smaller, and even contraceptives FREE of charge through the UNFPA program. Yet, many refuse. My only sympathy is that the man may not have planned for the extra two children. However, it is something a simple scan of less than N1000 would have shown. Had that happened, its extremely unlike the woman would have had complications which has warranted much of the expenses.

I disagree. As long as there is no gratification (cash or kind) in return for his 'services', then technically it doesn't count as prostitution. Promiscuity, sexual/moral laxity etc, would be more apt.
