People couldn't answer you because your question isn't complete. Your salary at entry level depends on your certificate and the level you are placed. There are some who have SSCE, OND, HND, BSC, MASTERS etc. You do not expect them to be placed at the same level, do you?

Anyway, the salary structure is Consolidated Tertiary Institution Salary Structure (CONTISS II). You can download and study it if you know the level. The one you should download is the one effective from January 1, 2023. That's the latest.

If you want to be scammed, patronize PEACE CORPS , NATCOM / NATFORCE and NIGERIA TRAFFIC TRAFFIC WARDEN SERVICE for jobs.
Their normal tactic is that it will soon be approved by the federal government or it is being worked on by the senate or it is just like civil defence of those days. It will soon be approved by the president.

Until it is approved (if it ever will) , call EFCC on anyone promising you a job by asking you to drop money. Na scam!

Sources close to the investigation said that Adegbenro and his associates had allegedly been running a "sophisticated scam operation, preying on unsuspecting individuals by offering them fake employment opportunities within NATCOM."


The NATCOM, which is said to have claimed to be the government agency responsible for controlling the proliferation of small arms and light weapons, has allegedly been selling bogus appointment letters and extorting money from victims.


SaharaReporters gathered that investigations also uncovered evidence suggesting Adegbenro's alleged involvement in gun-running.


It was gathered that his arrest had shed light on the extent of NATCOM's alleged criminal activities, which have been ongoing for several years.


Victims are said to have come forward with disturbing accounts of being deceived by NATCOM team, which promised them lucrative positions and job security within the organisation.

"Also, many have lost significant sums of money in the process, with some even quitting their existing jobs to join the fake agency," another source said.

"As the investigation progresses, questions have continued to be raised about how Adegbenro managed to operate without facing any consequences," another source said.

The National Centre for the Control of Small Arms and Light Weapons (NCCSALW), which is said to be the only recognised government institution tasked with controlling the proliferation of illicit small arms and light weapons in Nigeria, said that it has repeatedly warned about the dangers posed by NATCOM.


The NCCSALW in a statement issued on Saturday said that it has been working to raise awareness about these fraudulent groups and their potential to undermine national security.

The organisation further urged the public to exercise caution and verify the legitimacy of any organisation claiming to be involved in arms control before engaging with them.



“The arrest of Adegbenro marks a significant step forward in the fight against illegal arms proliferation, gun-running, and the criminal activities of fraudulent outfits.


“As the investigation continues, more details are expected to emerge about the extent of NATCOM's operations and the individuals involved in perpetrating these crimes.


“The public is encouraged to report any suspicious activities or organisations claiming to be involved in arms control to the relevant authorities. By working together, we can combat the menace of illegal arms proliferation and create a safer society for all,” the NCCSALW said.

I suggest you turn your focus towards tertiary institutions, private or public. Even in private tertiary institutions, you will earn more than twice this amount.

Use Google. Write out all tertiary institutions close to you that offer statistics, both public and private. Package your CV and credentials. Start visiting these institutions one by one. Tell the HOD why you are there. You may also try the registrar's office in those institutions and submit your application. In months by God grace, you should get a better job.

Also stay put on this thread as well as on the job section. You won't know when you get vacancy information that will result in a good job.

You will need to decide what you want.

But if I will advise you, take the lecturing job while you continue to process your travels. That you have been offered an admission in the UK does not mean you have gotten the visa and other necessary resources to travel. So what happens if you fail in your bid to eventually travel?

If your travel plan eventually works out, you will have to simply resign. People resign from jobs everyday. It's not a crime to resign.

For now, keep your travel plans to yourself while you simply start this lecturing job. It will even be on your CV assuming you are able to travel out.

If the training that I have witnessed in state fire service is the same for Federal Fire Service, then most applicants are going to be extremely shocked if they are picked.

The training is like military training and those guys work under extremely dangerous conditions. You need to be extremely fit, courageous and ready to die to do that job.

My experience is from a certain state in southern Nigeria. I think those guys ought to earn more than medical officers.

If Senator Ningi is to be suspended, the senate president Akpabio must also be suspended. Akpabio had earlier lied that state governors were collecting billions from FG which is untrue.

The present senate seem as a house of liars. 😂

Welcome to Ibadan. The centre is NOT in the school premises. From the main gate of the school, cross to other side and take a taxi to Ajibode junction. From where you are dropped, cross the road to other side and then take either a bike or keke to Distance Learning Center. That's the venue of your test.
