If you turn to fox news,it almost looks like they're conducting a funeral. Bill Krystal, the reputed Republican pundit is the undertaker.Even he has given up on McCain. This is not looking good at all for him. |

milknhoney: No need to plead. I'm just being realistic. Obama is a nice, intelligent, charismatic Black man. You know I have to give him some credit for that. And I must commend all the strength he has put forth for this campaign. Just too bad it will all mean nothing in November. McCain can abolish abortion, loosen up gun control, and double up our taxes. Won't really matter because as I said before, although we are not in the age of Civil Rights, racism is still cancerous disease still lurking around. And to deny that is utterly ignorant and childish. They will still put him office, he will die of cardiac arrest and Pailin will be the President and have an affair with one of her Cabinet, claim the child was from rape. Simple. More power to you and your way of thinking getting sicker per minute so far people who thought the same way have been dead wrong. Everyone has an opinion,as they say let us all watch and see |

All the people who debated violently that there was no chance in hell he'll win a nomination have since disappeared or changed usernames and avoided the the politics thread. I hope y'all will be here on NOv 4th and we'll reference all these threads |

milknhoney: You guys can disagree all you want but that is exactly how it works. Because for one thing, there was no way in hell those Blue Collar White Males were fixing to put Hilary Clinton in office. That would have been an abomination. They rather put up Obama as the Decoy Candidate against McCain, then she with her Campaign still running.
Obama has a snow ball chance in Phoenix in winning Presidency. If you actually think that being that us living in 2008 the supposed 21st century means anything in this Campaign, starting putting up your McCain-Palin posters in your lawn. There was also a greater chance for it to snow in London than him to win a nomination. You may have made that statement All the whites are talking amongst themselves to set him up as a decoy. Please!!!!!!!! |

StephenP: I disagree.
Well it's two sided, another group can see it as he is answering the questions and not digressing you know? But yeah he needs to come harder. People are not fools. Did you see how he dismantled the William Ayers "pallying " accusations? The guy is classy. He's above pettiness. He has definitely proven himself to be a better man He has consistently talked on issues and if the dials are anything to go by,the independents who obviously will decide this election get it. Cool calm and definitely collected. |

milknhoney: That is exactly how politics works. You say one thing then you do the other. All these Blue Collar White Guys are just playing the part, the role. With their "Obama for Change" shirts and Democratic Party Pins on their collar. Fiakwa. That is what they want us to believe. That we live in times where race plays no boundaries in life. Please, give me a break. They rather pay $100 dollars to fill up their Ford Trucks then have a Black Man in office. The day I see Obama in office, is the day I'm moving back to the UK. Because their is going to be hella lot of commotion that I am not willing to be a part of. But I will still wear my "Obama for ya Mama" shirts. Better than McCain. my answer plus_Queen: who has voted to get him where he is today? aliens? We should should stop all this inferiority complex. Blacks make up 12% of the USA population so obviously most of his voters are not black. |

maxell: plus_Queen, McCain hit Obama pretty hard on the Congressman Lewis issue. Obama didn't repudiate his statement and I'm a bit concerned because Obama didn't hit McCain back as hard or try to outsmart him as he usually does. He did. He said that his campaign had a message out distancing themselves from his statement. That is enough! he doesn't need a world wide apology rendered to him or lewis chastized by Obama He can't allow the man put him in a corner on World TV when he's leading in all the polls That'll be suicidal. He also mentioned that Lewis siad he was perhaps too hard and stated the reasons why Lewis said what he said, When people were shouting kill him and terrosrist in McCain's campaign |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Final Debate, Round III: Obama V Mccain by plusQueen(op): 3:09am On Oct 16, 2008 |
milknhoney: Everybody knows that is exactly what is going to happen. All these blue collar white guys who say they support Obama, are just saying that in the fact of they might be accused of being a "racist." When November comes around, watch them do a 180 on their loyalty and say hello to Eight more Years of the Bush reigning. How wonderful politics is. Please spare me this nonsense. Everybody knew Obama had no chance with Hilary Clinton Everybody knew he had no chance without Clinton as VP Everyone now knows what is going to happen. Yet everyone has been wrong all along. maxell: McCain is hammering Obama pretty hard, but Obama remains composed and is not hammering back as hard.
This is the toughest debate IMO thus far hammering wetin? the man is beating around the bush, talking off point, attacking paddling in circles. are you watching the dial below the screen? MCains off points are shooting below the bar. People are not interested in those attacks. The man is finished |

omoge: pundits abi what do they call them have been talking about 'what MC should do to win or turn things around. that is what i have been seeing all day long. they are not talking about what Obama should do just what MC should do to win. seems they know MC will win the election anyway. i hate to watch today's debate. let me tell you, most are rooting for MC to be honest. What are you watching? Fox Network ? all polls show Obama ahead by at least 8 points. some 11 points, The electoral projections so far are in favour of Obama as high as 267 vs 174 and you need 270 to win the presidency. My dear they all talk of "what McCain has to do to win" because all the polls are so not in his favor |
