Ogonis should should recognise Bakassi and vice versa. |
The drumbeat has indeed changed, I agree with these folks, Nigeria must learn a new dance. 'Injustice anywhere, is a threat to justice everywhere!' |
He has always been. Wasn't he one the the loud mouthed clown asking Government to dialogue with the terrorists? |
Odunnu: Dont mind Bakare jor. He is playing to the gallery.Abi oo. That day will soon dawn on him. |
~Bluetooth:This got me ROFLMAO ![]() Just that the struggle to remove those stuff is the only fight onlookers will witness. ![]() |
Even as Tinubu is attempting to 'buy' Ondo State with Lagos loot, he should watch his back, the rug is going to be pulled from his feet in Lagos come 2015. |
The people had schools in Makoko. Just where would their children go to school now? The scene I watched on Aljazeera was indeed a very shameful one. A working governor, particularly one on whose behalf the South-West media seems to exist, should have taken the people’s plight as his own personal responsibility.Na wa oo |
Rheinmetal: Only those who have never witnessed war pray for it.No one prays for war. But if another war is what Nigeria needs to set things right, so be it. Whether one has witnessed war or not is immaterial in war. Majority of those who fought in the civil war never witnessed it until it came. So will most of us standing around today. Let's channel our efforts into restructuring Nigeria for equity, fairness and justice NOW! Or war will come upon us all, sooner or later! |
CHESSBOARD: All the SS ppl have realized they made mistake fighting for yorubas during the Civil war, if anything happens now everybody is on his own. Ogoni ppl I met are boiling and are ready to take lead.I can't say if Igbos are ready to fight alongside Ogoni for freedom. I can only speak for myself in this, I shall not raise a voice against the Ogonis, let alone an arm. I rather help them in anyway I can or let them be. Free Ogoni! |
@Op, Spot on. Anyone who read between line, will deduce same from Bakare's message. |
owobokiri: Yours make good sense. Why? A lot of people have always said that the ALGON jeep contracts in the early 90s made him, but i know for sure that he was relatively rich before that contract. That means he was into other stuffs earlier.Looks like Rochas has passed the Litmus test! |
dasparrow: @PostPerhaps Ironsi would have been alive today, and there would have been no civil war, if he had done similarly. |
FSU: How come only Delta Igbos (Achuzia and Uwechue) are fighting for the presidency on behalf of the Igbos? We are in it together, all of us! Besides, there is no real of fake Igbo. Your are either Igbo or you are not! |
Interesting... The drumbeat of war is sounding louder, and louder by the way. Whither Nigeria? |

Nice pictures. Yet more work need to be done. |
Ournaija: Good question. I hope you will learn from it as am going to take the pain to tell you. This sounds more like it. |
Goodluck Diigbo shows us the way. Nigeria is going, going, ... Congrats again Ogoni. We (Igbos) wish you well. |
adamabdul: Why didn't the fg reply does ogoni fooollssss?I think they should have been replied instead of boko ramsOgonis said they are tired being called Nigerians, we have to let them be or show them why Nigeria is a good choice. Frankly speaking, it doesn't look that way at all with all the bombs going off in the North with the connivance of the local populace. Me say deal with the Northern armed insurrection before the Ogoni peaceful declaration! |
How can we refer to that shack in the picture as mosque? I mean how could people proudly hold that piece of disjointed carpentry work in that filth as mosque? Na wa o. What I see if a front for criminal activities, as no well meaning people should dignify that crap with the title of a mosque. If the Anambra State Government is really serious about dealing with the Head Bridge issue once and for all, that shack and anything that stands in the way should be dismantled without further waste of time. I rather empty, green space, than that thing currently there. |
Na wa o. This kind of response I expected is for Mr. President to grab at least 3 boko haram commanders or sponsors under watch, to let the boko bastards know where power lies. GEJ no fall my hand o |
manchy7531: Yes, because if Ogoni secedes by ommission or commission, Odua will follow suit, 1966-70 style. Leading from the rear as usual, waiting for the first opportunity to stab Ogoni on the back.Lol. Funny stuff. The sound of bullets and bombs if it does happen will saperate the contenders from the pretenders. Nuff said. |
thomason: Ex cultist? Can you prove that bro? OGD was there for 8 good years and you didnt see anything wrong but quick to pass the blame to Amosun who is just a year in power, lets criticize him in 2015.OGD? The less said the better. As for Amosun: X-factoria:https://www.nairaland.com/720869/amosun-leads-squad-demolish-babalakin#8790500 |
thomason: U r right cos Gbenga Daniel(PDP) was in charge for 8years. Amosun is fresh and we should give him time before criticising him.So how long should we give Amosun |
Why exactly is Lagos state heavily indebted. Will N23 Billion IGR, Lagos State is not expected to be on that list, let alone lead the pack. Something is fundamentally wrong. (I don't know why I can't seem to get the frog-eyed forger of ACN out of my face.) ![]() |
@Op, I'll take that dilapidated structure as a 'massive' improvement over the 'hut and shack' school in the second picture. ACN's government public standard is truly amazing! ![]() |

Congrats to the Ogoni people for the bold move. I would have preferred they go for full autonomy - secession, Let us see if Nigeria will slaughter another 1.2 million people for their oil. Beyond the rhetoric and congratulatory messages, well meaning groups and individuals should make it politically toxic for Nigeria to use force against the Ogonis. Ogonis, our brother, cousins, and friends have been through hell in Nigeria. We should 'free' them! |
Gbong Gwom Jos calls for formation of vigilance groups On August 2, 2012 · In News 1:38 pm Tweet Jos – The Gong Gwom Jos, Da Gyang Buba, on Thursday called on youths in communities prone to attacks to form vigilance groups to protect their villages. Buba, gave the advice when he visited the communities located in Barkin-Ladi and Riyom local government areas. He said that such groups would form the core “alert groups” toward proactive efforts to check the attacks. “We expect that such vigilance groups will close the gap between the locals and security agents and would assist the latter with the necessary information to ensure the safety of the citizenry,” he said. The Gbong Gwom Jos expressed dismay over the manner in which youth in the embattled areas still engaged in drunkenness instead keeping vigil to safeguard their communities from attacks. He called for the re-evaluation and re-assessment of communal living to enable people in communities to know their neighbours and strangers. Buba assured the people that the traditional rulers in the state would continue to play their advisory role and speak the truth about the situation in the state, without fear or favour and until measures were taken to restore genuine peace. Mr Emmanuel Lomang, Chairman, Barkin Ladi Local Government in his remark at Kakuruk, condemned the continuous attacks in the area. He expressed dissatisfaction with efforts of the military Special Task Force (STF) maintaining peace in the area. “We want to note, with dismay, that some people violated STF’s order to vacate their villages, and used that time to destroy structures at Gashish. “Now, the people that survived the attacks have been rendered homeless,” he said. Mr Sam Audu, Chairman, Riyom Local Government, on his part thanked the monarch for the visit, and said that it was a demonstration of his (monarch’s) love for his people. Audu appealed to the state government to complete the Hoss-Bachi rural road, which was budgeted for in the 2012 appropriation, adding that that its completion would ease movement during emergency situations. The Chairman said that the people of the area were law abiding and expressed their readiness to embrace all peace initiatives by the government. HNosegbe: But seriously, I think he's right. Though I'm no fan of the current administration, I wouldn't expect 100% implementation because humans ain't perfect.I also don't like the ratio. But let government attempt cutting it down, by reducing the number of Ministries, and MDA, or cutting down on salaries and allowances. Guess, who will first oppose such move? Yes, you guessed right - National Assembly, and the Labour Unions. The NA will reject serious cut to their allowance and perks, while the Labour Union will insist the attendant 'retrenchment' will lead to massive unemployment. The solution remains making the center and government employment unattractive. |
jmaine: Doyin na fire fighter i swear . . . . .See as him straff those ediots severelyNa so. But now that the overflowing tap of chopulation money is being regulated, they want to 'fight for Nigerians.' Na wa oo. ![]() |
