bilazego:Dude, it is not about monitoring for bad news about certain people from certain ethnic background but about the reality on ground. There are over 500 ethnics groups in Nigeria. How come we do not hear so many bad news from all of them. Again, what is the other tribes contribution to crimes both in Nigeria and the International communities? Figure that out and you will find out that something must be fundamentally wrong!!! |
bilazego:Ok. The good thing is you are a member of Nairaland. What I want you to do is to observe the news in the crime section for next 15 days and tell us what you observed. Thanks |
opeyemiieblog:It's not only the president that makes the change. The people too. Once we change our mindset things will change. |
nero2face:Really? Personally, the guy made real sense. When it comes to kidnappings, the East tops it all in Nigeria. Remember that South South started the kidnappings but they never commercialised it. In fact kidnappings in the South South is now fraction of what is done in South East. What of drug business? Who leads the pack? Not only in Nigeria, but as far as India and the orients (Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, China). If you look at the statistics you have more of our eastern brothers executed and incarcerated for drug related offence world wide. Look at what Nigerian are doing in South Africa? Nigerians are drug barons in that country. Most of the Nigerians killed in that country are from the east. What of 419? Your guess is as good as mine. The easterners lead the pack. So my question is what is wrong with this quys? There are so many things that can be done to bring in legit money. Farming and large scale food processing is a gold mine. But my people in the east won't do it because the money is not fast. They want quick money so as to buy Lexus or Rolls Royce to show they have arrived. What a life!!! |
ishowdotgmail:Hahahaha. That's our favourite quote in Nigeria. But the reality is that most times, the killer get away with the crimes. What we need to be clamouring for is for the government to restructure the police force or better still Nigeria starts practising community policing which helps in crime reduction or prevention. |
Hmmmm. Why is it only Nigerians they are mostly killing in South Africa? That's the question we should be asking. It is not out of place to say that Nigerians are mostly involved in fraud, theft, murder, prostitution and drug business in South Africa. This crimes are "normal" in Nigeria because we don't have a good justice system and most Nigerians think they can take such lawlessness to other countries without any repercussion? The killings will stop when Nigerians stop committing crimes in the country. Another country Nigerians are committing crimes is India. If care is not taken, such disaster will befall on Nigerians in that country. It's unfortunate that a lot of innocent people are victims. |
tobloj:Hahahaha. You lack common sense, probably due to do the home videos you have been watching. My advice do more research with the internet and forget social media. |
Hmmm. This is really sad!!!. Anything form for business our brothers from the east venture into, they usually put in aggression into it. Kidanapping started in the South South but it was our people from the South East that commercialised it. Same with the drug business which was done small scaled by the South west people. Now the lords of drugs in Nigeria are from the South East. The question now is why are the people from the South East not venturing into agriculture and the feed the country since there is a large market and they stand the chance of making it big? The recyling business is big time and they can make lots of money too. |
comshots:Looted funds? So you are now a judge advocate. I suggest you try and loot funds and set up your business. Then hire people to run it anyhow. Anyway, like i previously mentioned, if they don't like the working conditions, they should quite. Everyone knows what is happening in Nigeria!!!! |
DeBlackArabian:Hmmm. I wonder why are they complaining, when they have the option of leaving the job. |
Hmmm. What a life!!!. Ibo people and the drug business. |
This is what happens when a country has bad leadership. Our representatives have been so bribed that at the end of the day, they will not do anything. For the crappy network and the proposed tariff hike, I really don't blame the telcos because Nigeria has not made any progress in electricity generation since 2001 and price of diesel has been on the increase too. Furthermore, the so called representatives (both houses) demand for bribes and settlement from these companies. In addition, our so called leaders don't have a blue print for development. |
WotzupNG:One of those idiots interpreting the bible upside down. I don't know anywhere in the bible here high heel shoes was discussed. |
jaszplus12:If the pay and work condition is bad, why not leave. It's not by force to work for Dana. There is no need to protest, people should stop working for Dana and go home or their fathers house and relax. Those protesting should ask Buhari what is going on in Nigeria. |
ofedegbe:What you actually need to do is to get a lawyer. Your account was frozen because there is an ongoing investigation. Once the investigation is completed, the police will have a warrant for your arrest. |
jaszplus12:How on earth will a a country make progress when workers are saying respect our religion? Does religion put food on the table? People should leave religion alone and work hard to put food on the table. |
It is obvious that you have watched so many Nigerian home videos. |
Christians should sign off from Facebook. It is not mandatory to join facebook!!! |
Do you really understand what sexual assault is? If you are in doubt about the conversation or even anything why don't you ask questions? |
The government should stop wasting money taking killed boko haram operatives to the morgue and burying them. I suggest their bodies should be taken to the zoo to feed the Lions and hyenas. |
He tried to smuggle drugs to China for profit motives, when he knows that the punishment is death. Well good luck to him!!!! |
jaksmillioniar:Dude, stop the hating. The difference between Ghanaians, south Africans and nigerians is that majority of the other countries citizens are not lawless. People do rubbish (murder, rituals, looting and fraud) in Nigeria and get away with it and they feel they can do same in other countries. It won't work, hence people will resist and will not allow Nigerians live in peace. Look the drug epidemic Nigerians are causing in india, Nigerians are exporting cultism to Ghanian universities. Nigerians are still number one in advance fee fraud (419) and other cybercrime. How many nationalities of other African countries including countries that are coming out from war, do you hear of that commit crimes more than Nigerians? |
broseme:Hmmmm.I hope it's not state funds that is used for the trip |
ijustdey:Dude, what exactly that benefits Nigerian have they done? Please list at least 5 things. |
Ezniteadin:Hahahaha. That's the change we voted for!!!! The VP some months back sacked the former MD of the airport and till date nothing has really changed. This is to tell you that the government has never been interested in securing lives and property. How much will it cost the government to set up a CCTV? |
sixtuschimere:I think the car and helicopter is just for ornamental purpose. |
sirjacobson:Fake news!!!! |
Hahahaha. Buhari is on his way home!!! |
Hahahaha. What do you expect? Majority of government universities in Nigeria don't have the necessary funding to survive. Hence, they are heading towards collapse. In sane societies, if there is massive failure in a particular course, the lecturer will he held accountable because it will he seen that he did not impart knowledge properly. My advice, please switch to a university in other west African country. The situation is almost beyond redemption!!! |
Now I understand how messed up our policy makers are. They are not thinking of modernizing and even recruiting more police personnel and they are talking of national guard. How will it be funded? A government that cannot fund its general hospitals!!!! In a sane society, the military has no business outside their barracks. The police are in charge of internal security. Boko haram, kidnappers and the Niger delta problems grew out of proportion as a result of the inefficency of the police. How can a right thinking government have about 370,000 police for a population of 185million people with an unemployment rate of 22%? Meanwhile, the country lacks instruments such as constant electricity, automated traffic light and CCTV camera which can make their jobs easier. Most police personnel are stark illiterates cannot write anything other than their names. The lack networked computers, work emails, don't get paid, live in "God forsaken" accomodations and don't even get trained. That is the reason why most Nigerian policemen in states like lagos prefer traffic duties just to extort bribes from the public. Once again, the policymakers should let us know how Will the national guard be funded? |
Riosystem:Dude, wake up!!! It's a terrorist attack. Even in Nigeria where vehicles are not properly maintained, how many trucks have you heard running down people, accident style in a market? Besides the driver is on the wanted list now. |
Just to let people know that they should be careful with following numbers used by local 419 fraudsters. - +234 903 488 6746 - +234 803 324 2865 - +234 903 488 6799 - +234 814 549 0793 - +234 903 488 6768 - +234 803 324 2886 - +234 814 549 0714 - +234 814 549 0740 - +234 903 488 6741 - +234 814 549 0747 - +234 903 488 6779 - +234 803 324 2859 - +234 814 549 0756 - +234 903 488 6703 - +234 803 324 2857 - +234 803 324 2897 - +234 803 324 2800 - +234 803 324 2807 - +234 814 549 0703 - +234 903 488 6739 - +234 903 488 6706 The following pictures are on the whatsapp profile for some of the numbers.
