Congratulations on your achievements so far. I was equally blessed with a job that pays twice that of DPR.
I have moved on long ago.
It is heart breaking that jobs in a sensitive and crucial parastatal like DPR are freely given to undeserved graduates like Christmas gift.
It is just a matter of time and the government job market will suffer negative feedback. When that happens, everybody will pay the ultimate price.

The thing about banking industry is that you would work so hard and wish you didn't get the job in the first place. Yes the pay is friendly and motivating but the stress no be here o.

Do you want them to pay you for doing nothing? Every good thing does not come cheap.Even entrepreneurs wake as early as 6am and even do night vigil in order to have competitive edge over others.
Absorb the stress now that you are young, make the money, invest and rest at old age.

Well, I've been in similar situations and to be honest, it's not funny. My issue is with you doing nothing for two years. Two years?!?!?!?! Honestly, that's not a nice thing to hear/read. How do you cope during this period? Also, I read that you like the oil and gas industry. Well, no problem with your predilection but the industry is highly competitive and the best of the best compete to get a foot into the sector especially at the entry level stage. Another thing is that people rarely leave the industry to other industries and as a result, you would find persons working in one company or different companies within the industry for a decade or three decades sef! An example is the Head of Total Exploration Nigeria. The man has been with Total since his NYSC in the late '80s! So inasmuch as there are opportunities here and there, the competition is fierce. Seplat that her recruitment this time two years ago had over 42, 000+ applicants for less than 30 slots and some of the applicants I met were exceptional. Some schooled at the best of institutions, one even studied all through his life in the UK and lots of first class everywhere. I implore you to try other sectors provided you fulfil the requirements.

Furthermore, instead of staying at home doing nothing, I advise you find a way or ways to raise money for next year's Stutern's Graduate Accelerator Program for opportunities in the IT industry. Why I'm suggesting this is because the tech industry is egalitarian; no one cares about what and where you studied, and your grades. I know things aren't easy but you need to do something in the mean time which can change your trajectory for the better. Meanwhile, you can keep trying regarding job applications (your CV and cover letter being on point) and know your aptitude tests skills very well. Just know that it's highly competitive out there and these companies can afford to be very picky and select only the best of the best. Last year's PwC's recruitment had ~76, 000 applications for less than 200 slots. . So you see?

Well said, a multinational company that I know employed only 12 people across different roles for entry level (management trainee) position. Also, Masters degree is compulsory.

I did my exams in June and I when I was entering University in sept it hadn’t come. Maybe the waec certificate came and my parents kept it but I’ve never set my eyes on it.

You are clearly a retard, an affidavit is a legal oath. If you don’t have a PhD and swear you have one, you have committed perjury on the record. When you swear an affidavit, you are telling the court what what is in the affidavit is true, if you lie and you get caught, you will face the consequences.

Because anyone can go and swear an affidavit does not mean there aren’t consequences for false declarations or you can just claim to have qualifications you don’t have.

I see sentiment in all your comments. The president claimed that he possesses a WAEC certificate by swearing an affidavit which was submitted to INEC prior to the election. In the past, he clearly stated in an affidavit that his credentials are with the military board. The military has come out to debunk his claims.
The case of Buhari is telling lies under an oath and the judiciary has made it clear that it is criminal to do so.
Nobody forced him to swear under an oath.
Recently, waec issued him a new certificate and the ceremony was aired on national television. Therefore, I'm yet to understand what is happening. Who is deceiving who?

Could you enlighten us on how best to prove or demonstrate that one is educated up to secondary school level beside certificate or statement of result?
Who uses photos that any idiot can edit to suit him?
Who uses attestation that cannot be corroborated by waec or Cambridge in their records?
Who uses a witness to ascertain education?
Does it occur to you that the authenticity of a certificate is usually verified by an organization before an appointment is confirmed?
How do you intend to verify and authenticate that Buhari was educated up to secondary school level?
Even if you were a Professor before contesting for the office of the president (in this case Buhari is a retired general) you are still required to confirm your claims by presenting your credentials., the minimum credentials are enough.
