Compare to:

It's God's word that compared Jesus to Moses not me so now you're free to argue with your Bible.

Read the below carefully (John 1).
Lord Jesus was the Messiah, God incarnate, definitely NOT the prophet Moses said would be like him and "raised up" (not born) from "amongst your brethren"

The second is Luke 9. They told Jesus people were saying he was Elijah or the Prophet. Peter got it right - that he was neither, rather that he was the Messiah.
Notice all the things that were foretold the Messiah must go through? Moses nor anyone else never said the prophet would go through any of that.

BOTTOM LINE
Lord Jesus was God incarnate while Moses was merely a man like you are, albeit a great prophet!
