"Judgement is coming on you soon" clergyman Reverend Yomi Kasali comes for Reverend Funke Adejumo over her frequent requests for seeds from church members Lagos pastor, Yomi Kasali, says judgement is coming on popular clergywoman, Funke Felix-Adejumo, over her requests for ''seeds'' from members of her church. The clergywoman has been under fire on social media in recent times after videos of her asking church members to give as much as $1000 as seeds for different reasons, surfaced online. While preaching in his church recently, Reverend Kasali reacted to Adejumo's videos. He said she was fleecing members of their money and that judgment is coming on her very soon. ''Christians no longer have consciences. Preachers have a dead conscience. I watched the video of a preacher fleecing members, asking for $1000 and I said does this woman have a conscience? You know you are lying. The bible says speaking lies in hypocrisy and have their consciences seared. She knows what I am talking about. If she has an ear, let her hear, Judgement is coming on her very soon'' Watch his video and that of the clergywoman asking for the donation below https://www.instagram.com/p/BmDVXKzniA-/?taken-by=lindaikejiblog Source: https://www.lindaikejisblog.com/2018/8/judgement-is-coming-on-you-soon-clergyman-reverend-yomi-kasali-comes-for-reverend-funke-adejumo-over-her-frequent-requests-for-seeds-from-church-members.html cc:lalastica, OAM4J |

OLAADEGBU:Written by same people who did not even understand that the sun is a star. 1 Corinthians 15:41-43 41 The sun has one kind of splendour, the moon another and the stars another; and star differs from star in splendour. 42 So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable;' If they don't even have the basic understanding of what we already know, why should we trust them in more complex issues we don't understand? |

Topmaike007:Yea, if you have a garden, you can give your tithe from it. BTW, there are laid down rules on how to give tithe, if you want to give your tithe you will have to follow the rule strictly. Even the people practicing Judaism, from where the Christians borrow tithing, don’t give tithes anymore cause it’s not possible to give it as the rule says. |

...but what this version is saying is contrary to your opinion Contemporary English Version When you pray, don't talk on and on as people do who don't know God. They think God likes to hear long prayers. We don’t need the spirit to tell us what that verse means. |
A US-owned local radio station has been shut down for insulting women in Rwanda, authorities say. The Amazing Grace Christian Radio, a radio station that airs religious sermons, had its broadcasting license revoked after one of its presenters, Nicolas Niyibikora, repeatedly referred to women as evil, Rwanda officials said. The Rwanda Utilities Regulatory Authority (RURA) announced it had taken away the station's license on Tuesday. https://www.cnn.com/2018/04/26/africa/radio-station-shutdown-rwanda-africa/index.html

Ethiopia, Africa's second most populated country, is forecast to be the fastest growing economy in Sub-Saharan Africa this year, according to new data from the IMF. Ethiopia's economy is predicted to grow by 8.5% this year. The figures signal continued economic expansion following a long period of impressive growth. In the last decade, Ethiopia has averaged around 10% economic growth, according to the IMF. To boost the economy, the country is pursuing a number of large-scale infrastructure projects, including the Grand Renaissance Dam and a railway network. "(Ethiopia) has had a very high growth rate and I think that's a result in large part of a very concentrated effort by the government to boost industrial production and manufacturing," said Vijaya Ramachandran, an economist at the American think tank Center for Global Development (CGD). Ramachandran, along with three academics, released a report suggesting Ethiopia can follow in China's footsteps, and become a destination for low-wage manufacturing jobs. However, despite sustained economic growth, in the past few years Ethiopia has experienced increasing unrest from Oromo groups in the Oromiya region. According to human rights groups, the government has suppressed basic rights and freedoms. New Prime Minister Abiye Ahmed was sworn at the beginning of April, signaling an intent to ease tensions. Economic growth Ivory Coast is expected to be the second fastest growing economy in the region at 7.4%. Rwanda's estimated economic growth is 7.2%, and the West African country Senegal is projected to have 7% growth. The data reveals that Ghana, which was previously forecast as the fastest growing economy in Sub-Saharan Africa in October 2017, at 8.9%, slowed in its predicted growth to 6.4%. Last year, a reported surge in oil and gas production helped propel the country's economy. Nigeria, Africa's largest economy, is predicted to grow by 2.1%, an increase from 1.9% forecast in October 2017. "They've updated it to 2.1%. However, they have emphasized the risks. The falling commodity prices and imbalances that are to arise because of the elections," Bismarck Rewane, a Nigerian economist, told CNN. South Africa's predicted growth stands at 1.5%. Long term, according to a report from the World Bank in 2016, the proportion of the African population in extreme poverty has declined, but the overall number has increased as the continent's population expands. Growth across the whole region is forecast to average 3.4%, below the total world growth figure of 3.9%. https://www.cnn.com/2018/04/24/africa/africa-largest-economy/index.html |
