kodred: Not a bad analysis although there’s more to be made.
If you target 15k daily for 6 days, you should have 90k gross.
Any driver that knows what he/she is doing should have no trouble making 15k daily. 15k on Tuesday and Wednesday nko?

Dovehorizon: Lolz, there is a reason it's called emotional intelligence, this is obviously what most people lack. A driver refused to go an extra "mile" to pick up a rider and as such made the rider to make a degoratory statement which was totally uncalled for. Gazzuz on the other hand saw the statement as an ambiguous one but when a statement like that is made during conflict or slight issues, the statement tilts more to follow a certain narrative... It is crystal clear that drivers are being looked down on, we have seen countless testimonies on this thread how riders belittle drivers, some riders send them to go buy yam while having their maids in the car and when a statement like "that's why you are a taxi driver" is thrown at you when there is a bit of ish, it surely means one thing... regardless of you try to look at it, it was bad of the rider to say such. Stop trying to cover up things when it's obvious the statement was pun intended. Boss nice to say you can see through the lens, some can use you are mad on you and you will just laugh it off, same you are mad can lead to stabbing, its all in the context and time ofusage. There is nothing wrong in calling cab man, taxi or any name, but ppl should note just as fashion designer won't accept obioma/tailor same way uber drivers won't accept taxi driver (Just for joke). But one thing I'll lyk Gazzuz to understand is this, you accepted "Mechanic" today, probably because you have made your mark and find fulfillment being one, if you come back to the world again, you will obviously like to come back as one. The only thing I could decode from the text of that lady, was a message sent to spite someone, I am not in place to tell if getting back at her is right or wrong. A rider once sent a text of "it won't b better for her enemy" for declining her ride, me I did not reply cos I count it as an effort in futile, I honestly can't do the job of her parents at dat age. |

GAZZUZZ: I see nothing wrong in her statement, you signed up to Drive on the platform. Your response on the other hand You encode a message in other for the receiver to decode it, the moment dia is a distort, its no longer a message. soh manner of presentation at a particular point in time matters, be it via text or vocal. |

In your case, since there's a definite date and time (unlike a mail & an in-app message I got last week that wasn't definitive), you may be blocked after the time elapses. I picked this guy and his white gf at Eko hotel yesterday to Mushin. calabardick: One drunk punk (with a bottle of Sprite mixed with some substance) took me from one estate off admiralty (NITEL) to abijo back to estate, at the end of the trip after delaying me with some oloshos he came and drop 1k, asked me to call him later for the balance. The bastard claimed he's davido's boy. Police (FSARS) even block us at jakande because of how he was doing with the oloshos inside the car.
When I told him I will not call him that he'll pay in his next trip, the guy come para, get liver come push me as I was peeing for gutter, tell me say if I no commot for area him dog go eat my carcass. After peeing about to enter my car he held my shirt and asked me to repeat what I said and I told him that Uber will pay me for the trip, while he refund Uber when paying for his next trip.
the bastard slap my back, I ask both Angel and demon for strength, as he was holding my shirt pushing me, with all my strength I gave him uppercut, the guy sumersulted and enter the gutter, the oloshos shouted in an unknown language, I zoom off, report to uber and they pay me with interest.
The most annoying thing is that he wasn't the one that booked the trip, the person that booked the trip switched off his phone when I tried reaching him.

donfortune48: Just forget what happened bro. Your rider was a hungry man/woman.
I once took 3girls from Marina to Farmcity admiralty around 9pm. They entered and said Oga please be fast, follow the fastest route, please don't enter traffic.
I went through Ikoyi link bridge cos it's the fastest and even the shortest distance. On approaching the toll one Shouted, oga why did you follow this place?
Me: what's wrong with this place?
Rider: cos we will pay extra #100. You should have followed the other one.
Me: is #100 a problem to you.
Rider: yes. Do you know if we have money?
Me: I will discount #100 for you at the end of the trip.
Rider: Thank you sir.
Some things are negligible bro. Sure I do get, but I like clarity for purpose of not cheating cos I frown at it. If I make 11200 and pay a toll of 300 and my net is displaying 9020 please can I get more light on this? |

donfortune48: Bolt don't take commission from your toll bro. You can always check this thing yourself.
When you close work, calculate the total tolls you paid, substract it from your revenue. Divide the remaining from your revenue by 100 and multiply by 80. Then add the toll to it. It will give you exactly what is showing on your Net earning.
Eg. You made 15k(tolls and commission inclusive) Your paid #900 toll that day.
15k-900 = 14.1k.
14.1k/100 = 141...
141*80 = 11,280.
11280+900 = 12,180.
12.18k is what your net will show if you earned 15k and paid 9h toll in a day. Like I said, I may b wrong, long ago this issue has been raise and it was crystal clear they do. Maybe the have change to new way... Too show u how lazy I can, I don't check their deduction again, I just know card is for them, cash is for me and I try to get bonus for make up |
