So why did mine with proof raise ur eyebrows but someone else's own is okay?. That's just what I am curious about. Did he get his tank from reserve? Be calm nah. Like I said, there are good days does not make it every other day. |

Pearl1910: Na u go ask am na. I don't doubt him so why will I ask?
Barbiturate said he drove 17mins to pick up. Even if I drive a Kia Picanto or Toyota Starlet, I can never drive 17mins to a pickup of normal fare, except it's long trip on surge or 10k from Lekki to yaba, where I know my cost has been covered already. Imagine doing this just 4times a day, with Toyota Muscle, how ur fuel no go finish before u make good money? 17mins is a trip of 2k on its own.
U see sometimes when I listen to people I see the reason they can never replicate my results. But what pains me is that instead of us to learn from each other, we are busy fighting, wondering and doubting. Me I no dey worry again, afteral my money, I make it inside my pocket, and ur own money u make it inside your pocket too, so I will worry myself on how to make more money for myself and not why guys aren't making their's again. Pearl I no get energy to measure di*k. There’s barely anything anyone did I can’t do.it’s a matter of if I want. What we are talking about here is fuel usage |

Barbiturate: They tampered with the metre.
So 12k(half tank) will fetch you 40k. You should have a net of about 24k. This is what is obtainable. Sure 12k will gross between 35/40k. We have to understand week days and weekends are not the same. And some free trips we do, like going to VI from surulere. I see all that as free trip. Going to Berger after work is free trip. I drive like 4km away from home before work as well. |

Barbiturate: I was there bro. I carry vex pick 6400 from chevron to Igbobi on indrive. I drove about 17 mins to PU. I was like; instead make I dey here for long make these smallies dey take agba eye see shege, I'd rather pick nonsense and gerout. Meanwhile we reach like 6 or so, wey bid for am.
2ndly, I guess you use corolla. You should know how much you make with your full tank, if you work well(hard) It is that, which you make, that is feasible!
For me, I use Camry and 12k(half tank) will fetch me 35k. Nobody fit call dog monkey for me! I don't believe everything here. I use civic not corolla. 24k fill my tank. I did something today and notice 15k could not fill 30L gallon. Maybe oando berger has tampered with their meter. Full tank doesn't give me more than 80k. Somethings it not like that self. |

Anyhow, I decided to keep receipt for fuel bought to work this week. I have 15k fuel bought yesterday for today's work, adding 10 that i charged madam, so the fuel rolls over to start work on Monday. Boss buy full tank, use it till it got to the extreme end of reserve. That's how to know what is obtainable. I still don't understand the maths between you and madam theorem. Glithronix: I said indrive drivers would never pick a ride to Ojodu Berger, not sufferheads. Any indrive that picks Berger ride is a sufferhead. Seriously, if by mistake, a driver picks to Berger and ends up spending 4hrs inside traffic, dem no born am well make him try am again. Imagine a legend self had to be taking corner-coner and possible shortcuts and still ended up spending 3hrs inside traffic, some indrive drivers don't know road connections, they would follow anything map says or even ignore the signs and put head inside Berger traffic that says 1hr traffic ahead, thinking it's going to be a perfect 1hr true-true 😁. I remember when Olowora was a sweet positioning area for me, God himself go send thunder on my head if I take trip to Berger. Ikosi, magodo-CMD, I no dey near any order going there even if the price is sweet. Damn! Who would I report myself to if I pick them? The hike in fuel price alone is enough to make a dumb driver wise up. Yesterday, I was at Wole Olateju crescent (lekki phase1) relaxing, and indrive drivers started posting disses at one another on passengers' page . I was just laughing. Dem no dey telly person. Drivers that picked rides to Berger yesterday will never dare make such mistake again, believe me. Much respect, boss. I was just reading the insults and curse they were placing on each other. One even went as far as saying their tyre go burst on 3MB. Trip scarce for phase 1 yesterday, I saw shege. The fastest finger no be here. |

But this is not the first time na, why are you surprised? Bros e shock me. If you buy fuel 24k to make 120k, why the balablu here? We need to underst and the difference between lucky hand and everyday obtainable. I just feel we have to push the right information always. |
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by pope191: 1:50am On Jun 25, 2023 |
Pearl1910: Price change. Let me use a common example. Lekki Phase 1 to VI is now 2,500 - 3k. U can do that trip to and fro 2 times then go to Gbagada from VI 5k on 10litres or 5k fuel.
It may seem unbelievable, but the problem I think is that u guys are mostly using big engine cars. U enter bad traffic and bad roads. I just used half tank (12k) that remained from fill up of yesterday to do 60k today. Yesterday I did 58k. With just one or two low surge trips. Pearl no injure me with laff nah... so you can use full tank to do 120k omo ×60 |

There's something about money you work so hard to get, blasting it in Cubana will always be difficult I kuku know, but I grew from different view in life. Which will be one of the reasons I'll always say see this as a means to an end. Unless one have plan to grow on the business and employ more hands to take over. You know how pathetic it is when situation always determine our fate cruely. We may have a need of 10 to 20k for months. Not like we dont have the money, but procrastination will always have a free will of let me have up to this or that. Gbam, lastma strike... ticket 150. We call everybody will know. Even beg them with our own hard earn money. They reduce it to 50 or 70k. Someone we tell you to thank your star, because they don't go back on such ticket. Car will develop issue and before you know 50k gone. Battery can spoil anything and you have no other option then to buy immediately. I've learnt to console myself with all this and do things I long to do in moderation. We only live once, as we keep our dreams alive, let's also keep our body and soul too. |

Glithronix: The have already started patching some damages roads/potholes. Those driving should have seen their work on some areas. They should sha try and cover all necessary areas. Kudos to them.
Btw, see traffic. People living in Ojodu and beyond, accept my sympathy. @pope191, how your neighbors dey cope in Ojodu Berger? You dey see the traffic at the moment? Jibowu all the way down to Ojota self don pack red 🔴. Last week Friday by this time I came out to see if I can do 15k and back home by 11pm. So I zero down on island 6500 and got back to yaba 3500. 10k down 5k to go. Got 3k to Cubana. 10:30pm. I was getting Berger for 3k, but seeing the traffic? Fear won't let me. I kept updating till 1am, nothing nothing... that was how Pope slept inside the car. No b me go enter that traffic at 488/ L Saturday morning, I say make I go house nah, inside car sleep and bed are two wide margin. Pick a trip going to Magodo 1 for 3800. I use express, no way, turn to Amara Olu and spent 2 hours between there to second gate. Rider gave me option of 2500 or we continue the ride. Smh I better pick this option and let her go. Gently find my way to Ogba from wemco road. Bath, eat and took nap at a friends place. Enter road again as target is in view. Saturday night I was around Magodo phase 2 around 11pm, set destination as I accept my fate of passing the night again inside the car. 2 days on the row That was how request beeped. Going to Magodo phase 1 from phase 2. As much as I long to go home. Me to rider, Oga! You are mean ooo, are you asking me to go enter that Berger traffic, haba! Rider goes like pls, don't worry I'll give you 5k swallow spit hmm! 5k? Haaaa! The traffic, ohk, no wahala, lemmi just try. Got to rider, study map well and noticed from Allen to wemco or Ogba route gets free with time, while the express is always on lock 24/7. I just use Allen to connect wemco, from wemco use alternative route straight for those that understand to Berger round about. Rider was happy with extra 2k thank u. The thing about that route now is one have to wait till 12 or 1am. Home now with the tots of going out at night, but when I tot of what I went through last week and the routes when I check the map from Yaba to berger. Nah! I ain't doing that sh*t today. Damn! How did I get into this from the person that hang out once in awhile to workaholic. Even when I try to rest, all my head will be banging like request in hitting me. Sudden turuturu will sound like rider just cancel trip on me I dedicate Cheerfulgiver to ya'll. I was just seeing guys popping into Cubana last Friday. Won't be a bad idea if I was that guy hopping out of that Benz with that Monalisa. E no good make suffer head master person we move on 50k target tomorrow sha. |

Barbiturate: Bro where U dey buy tyre 7500? Just bought 3 tyres 7k each, tho it is supposed to be 7500. As much as I know it is not easy, but I think we should cut cost as much as possible, because everyone will adjust (both rider and driver). In this business, I have seen some drivers doom has been wanting preferred brand of cars and not a suitable tools. If micra will do the job, damn rider's perspective and go with what will ease the job. But I like Venza? Cool, may we get to the point of affording one. But using it for the hustle and trying to combine it as pleasure ride? Honestly do come at it own cost. With the raise of dollars, price of parts will surely go up. We need to introduce the Ghanaian and Indian style right now. |

MoonlightDrive: Drivers are at the mercy of app companies. The worse are the negotiations-apps. They allow riders to input any price they like... I don't see it in that light. Drivers are their problem. Bolt has increase price to some worth. Riders do compare before booking, but drivers will still pick nonsense on Indrive. I just got to old Yaba road from VI. Drivers were picking 3500, 3700 at peak period. Remind me of Bolt days before the birth of Indrive. By this time V. island will be on full tomatoes. Drivers will be rushing from Lekki to partake in the glory |
