73O9: Viewing from a lovely place this wonderful cold morning. My family and I are here as PRs which was accomplished without the help of an agent, the travel section has all needed to get it done. Ha! How many drivers come remain like this? just for jokes. Congratulations boss. As much as I don't know the fund used in processing this, I'll still hit on the needless argument here. The hustle obviously won't be the best thing for a man, but for a starting? Yes! One can make something out of it. The hustle will make you appreciate life, efforts and money. There's nothing I dislike than when I see young able person say he doesn't have what to do. This hustle don't demand much than focus. Congratulations boss. Hope the ones out there like you won't stop to give the ones seeking for such tips on how to go about it. Best of all again. |

Deypray: No, ojodu Berger( Ogunnusi road) na even 3 nnpc they the road( only one functions fully), bovas dey while this rainoil is OPP Berger bus stop.
Bought 11k fuel...didn't even move 1km and I saw before my eyes how the fuel dropped like I've taken a 10km journey. I shouted.
I'll take the car to my mech to check again... cause I've not seen that before. Thats my point, the rest are bit filling station, just service center. Don't buy fuel at those outlets again aperture from.Bovas and NNPC (Oando). You can only manage the Nnpc opposite Oando, but their fuel burns faster. |

Deypray: Wow. U just confirmed my suspicion about rainoil at ojodu Berger. You hadly see queues in that station because they are a big fraud. I appreciate your response. Rain wetin? Along that road there's only 2 filling station. 1. Bovas 2. Oando (NNPC) If you badly need fuel, try the NNPC opposite Oando, but the first pump close to GTb. Else, don't bother buying fuel anywhere along that road. |

dapotemi: I understand this feeling..It's quite common... Sometimes not even booking as alternative but just outright cancellation without any reason.. If someone book me and cancel, I don't have problem with that. Things beyond our control happen and there's nothing anyone can do about that. Allowing drivers to drive for 10 mins as alternative? They suppose break the person finger. Our ladies are something else or should I say all ladies. I remember a girl booked a ride. I got there and wait for 15 mins before calling her back. Then she open up about not embarking on the trip again and how she has been trying to cancel the trip. Inside my mind, so you will just cancel trip without a word after 15 mins? She ask me to send my account. Told her thank you, she can keep her money, but next time she should call and explain. I don't beat myself over riders cancelling after booking, for me it's about not stressing the driver needlessly. |

How do one get to all these stupid riders that book double trips. One did it to me last night, I was so pained that I placed curse on both her and her families out of character. I just couldn't control my anger to the point of rushing down to pick up if I can find her. Got a request 10 mins and somewhat tot it was going to be the last trip for the day. I don't call on indrive, but leave messages, so they don't deduct. As I zoom off to pick up, 8 mins away, as I was approachin her, I place call to prep her. Me : God your request, I am almost there after greetings. Rider : Where are you? Wait let me check something As I was answering her, another voice from the background asked her. Did you order for another ride? Rider : yes as alternative incase the uber guy did not come on time, but I think he's outside now. Disconnect call and end trip. Call and call her she didn't pick, until I shoot her insults. Still on her case and don't think I'll let her off anytime soon. The thing pain me I have been thro this a lot, but for her to tell me to wait over the phone and be saying it boldy she booked as alternative inside this 488? I must torment her life. |

BAZ001: Wrong at the bolded all drivers should or be forced to go on strike.
Anytime there is a strike the union or members forces every other staff to join either by blocking entrance to office or go into office to tell them to join. Some go as far as pulling off electric supply.
Even doctors will stop new admission and monitor that others comply.
Crvrider and other drivers observing strike should begin to send drivers to 2nd rainbow, spoil the driver score and bonuses. This happen every time (get your neighbors phone keep making request and frustrating them) Make juicy request on inDriver and leave them to struggle for it and salivate Remember last time union were making request and impounding cars of drivers too, just to frustrate them I went to national Staduim to join the peaceful protest then before police came to arrest first 4 cars. Do you see union here? It will take emp to fry all phones to get drivers to do that. I'll like all drivers to go on strike, but you know some will work. At the sight of surge 2.5, one driver will surly on his app and you should know it means when everyone is out to check is someone is out. |

Crvrider: The bolded is what is being asked for and this is why some drivers have come out to lend their voice. If their agitations falls through it benefits everyone now instead of showing solidarity, they are mocked at. We all cant have same view, so I think it's best to do what works for one. Not all driver can go on strike, if 60/70% can observe it, then I think the message should be clear enough. |

My expenses before the fuel increase: Fuel: 8000/185 = 43Ltrs InDrive commission: 2k Total expenses: 10k
Expenses after fuel increase: Fuel: 43Ltr x 488 = 20,984 InDrive commission= 2k Total expenses: 22,984
Will the work rate be the same? With this I will have to work more to cover my expenses before I start to work for any form of profit. Yet he talks about making more money now than before. I honestly won't like to get into this drag going on here, but inbetween I think facts should not be distorted. I am still in the learning process and won't like to jump into what I don't know, but ever since the subidy thing, I've been giving it a second tot from my position of thinking the work is no longer worth it. Prices are no longer the same, the traffic rate is not the same. Tho a bit stressful compare to what it used to be. Before, I don't go beyond 100/120k weekly, but all factors being equal, I hope to gross 160k doing 4 and half days. The only issue here is, the better chunk of the money goes to fuel. Like I always say, almost everyone is feeling it, VI peeps are merging trips. It's a period in our country we all just have to sacrifice and hope for better price and balace as things unfold. Thank you |

Glithronix: Bought fuel 10k (20Ltr) yesterday. I rolled out @past 11 and got my first trip before 11:30am. Grossed = 35k (excluding extra charges of 3.2k). Fuel still remains that could get me more income. I could easily have made extra 10k without even sweating, but once I hit that 35k, I lost appetite to do more work. I no like putting strength in week days work, except weekends. It's very obvious that 10k fuel equal to 35k gross on weekdays for me (which is very, very satisfying for me oooh). I think I'm okay like that. But on a serious note, indrive really needs to increase their fare. I was seeing different trips of 1hr 30 mins and prices were btw 4.5k & below 6k. Who does that? The era of these kinda prices should have gone with the past fuel price. I just hope change-in-fare hits indrive before this month end. Cos e no make sense, seriously. I got notification from bolt with the changes they've made in base fare in reaction to the fuel subsidy removal. Though I ain't coming back to them , but that's the way to go. Much respect, bosses.

CheerfulGiver: The most shocking revelation of 2023 is that people still drive on bolt. I can't understand that decision. Bolt on 1.8 to 2.0 surge is bae... gives you delusion of having large cash, until it's time to pay commission |
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by pope191: 8:40pm On Jun 06, 2023 |
XGhost: I've said it countless times here, I'll still say it now, Do what works for you. Our realities, orientations and aspirations/expectations are different. So what I may abide someone else may forbid. Also because we have different realities truth becomes relative to perspective.
Nobody can say he's not spending more to buy fuel but even though it's still early days, I can also state that one is fairly guaranteed to make more than before. Bottom line for me is that whatever happens, My aspiration is to take home double what I spent on fuel or worst case scenario take home 20k after deducting fuel money. That's 20k nobody is dashing me. What that means is, if I can maintain that pace, I'll be earning give or take 500k a month. Not bad.
January last year, my bolt inspection expired, I no send. I used Uber exclusively till December. Pearl on the other hand can die on that bolt Hill. December last year, I say make I enter that period with backup in case of incasity, I got bolt back, I hardly used it, now I don't even have the app on my phone. Cheerful told me about Rida and InDrive, I registered Rida no InDrive but that's his beautiful bride and it's working for him. I think uber is great, pearl thinks his own, cheerful too but I won't knock any of them because my reality with those apps are different.
Do what works for you, that's the moral of my story Like your view and to achieve that on Uber, I think you have to gross at least 40k daily. Now here is the problem, because it is not that easy every other day. Before, once I do 18k before 4pm. I'll just be on the island with free mind waiting for Sade them to close. Pick 3500/4000 to yaba and probably 5k to Berger. That's roughly 26k. 4k for fuel, 2600 for commission. I am fine for the day. Now, one can use 15k to get 35k. If it takes 2pm to get 15k, Lord help man, commission and profit is still at threat. On the flip side, we keep focus on fuel only and not other things that my go up due to this fuel hike. Instance, if we buy tyre for 7k and it shoot to 10k, oil price, foodstuffs. My point is with time, what is obtainable will that 20k won't be the same again. One will hold 5k and can't even account for the smallest gap it fill. The best thing that can happen right now is increase minimum wage and transportation price as well. At the end subsidy was removed so few people won't be feeding fat at the expense of the masses. It should be more like redistribution of wealth. |
