I wonder what brand of weed the so called archbishop is smoking. He's dabbling into issues he doesn't understand & doesn't concern him, meanwhile Christians are benign slaughtered everyday in the North, no one is bold enough to speak out.
What issues doesn't he understand or concern him? The issue of violating the right of a Nigerian should also concern you because you can also end up being a victim.
PoliticsRe: Police Declare War On Armed Herdsmen by poseidon12: 6:28pm On Apr 16, 2016
Flets:
Why police? ... why not Army or DSS? Since when did Buhari trust the police to do the job?

Buhari should condemn the fulani menace first.....

There are no armed fulani herdsmen. .... these are mobile bokoharam. Nigerian army did not defeat bokoharam, their northern sponsors re-assigned them as fulani herdsmen.

Bokoharam has served its purpose in unseating the previous govt and have been mobilized into invasion of minority communities by same northern sponsors.

These are clear scripts being played out here and you'll never hear Buhari and his northern elders condemn it but will rather blame social media.

Now the grazing reserve act has passed second reading. When passed into law, the FG reserves a right to choose choice location in any state for the fulani herdsmen. As such, shortly we would have fulani herdsmen officially occupying FG assigned lands in every state.... and the invasion continues....and terror will be entrenched in the land....

Buhari is clearly behind bokoharam and Fulani herdsmen menace. Every region must make plans to guard itself now.
You are making sense here. I wonder why the southerners and middle belters are allowing such bill to pass. We are really naïve in the south.
PoliticsRe: Police Declare War On Armed Herdsmen by poseidon12: 6:11pm On Apr 16, 2016
It is not a secret that a lot of the Fulani herdsmen move about with guns. I recently travelled to the South East for the Easter and I saw a number of the herdsmen herding their cows in Edo state. Some were carrying guns. I believe the various police formations in the country know this. And I believe the police are scared of challenging these herdsmen.

Don't mind the mischievous op. Most of the names up there have not yet spent enough time for us to assess if they deserve a second term. Obiano has spent enough time to be assessed and he is doing a marvellous job in Anambra State. He surely deserves a second term.

dhardline:
Thank God for social media if not it would have been a silent rampage but now the farmers are on

the alert and so is every other Nigerian citizen.

Is it not strange how they take oil from the south, pollute farm lands, sell the oil, import petrol

and then allocate the money to every state in the country and anytime there is even scarcity it sells most

expensive in the south and now they want to also take lands from the south for free to feed their

cattles and only leaving destruction in their trail.but no one goes to the north to take free land

to open business or build houses, its all paid for in full, their crops and cattles are not sold and the

money shared to every nigerian but we still pay in full.

Please i ask, where is the fairness in all this? Are our Leaders insane? Or do a certain people think

the rest are fools?
Truth be told, in the scheme of things in Nigeria, the southerners come across as fools.

Thankfully, a few people here still have brains. ICC visits Nigeria and all of a suddenly the majority on this thread assume that it is all about human rights violations carried out during the present administration. Some people obviously don't know how long our list of human rights violation is from the days of the invasion of Odi and Zaki Biam to this present day (and I didn't even mention the military era). If in doubt, just ask Transparency International. No one knows where the axe might fall, if it eventually does? OBJ? GEJ? PMB? IBB? Who knows? Yet some folks are here getting ahead of themselves. I dey laugh.
Well, the ICC said that 8 cases have been filed against Nigeria. So I guess where the axe might fall will depend on which of the rights violations and killings are included in those 8 cases. I am happy that this is happening. It's about time.
PoliticsRe: ICC Prosecutor Visits Nigeria - Indicates Interest To Commence Investigation by poseidon12: 2:45am On Apr 15, 2016
It's about time. The Nigerian government and military have always been acting with impunity. It's nice to see that the international community have decided to beam their searchlight on Nigeria. I hope that this eventually leads to prosecution and conviction. That should send a good message to Nigerians to watch their actions.

The only reason some people are attacking our lawmakers from the SS and SE is because.

- They can never hold buhari led executive to account for ANYTHING.

- they want to protect Buhari at all cost.

- They have decided to believe that the Lagos-calaba rail project was in the budget and was removed by the lawmakers.

Truth is. It was never there. I repeat THE EXECUTIVE DID NOT PUT IT IN THE BUDGET.
Exactly. I don't why Buhari evokes fear among a large section of Nigerians. It's obvious that Buhari never included the project in the budget he submitted. But the cowards will not blame him. They would rather blame the law makers from the south.

It's very unfortunate that the leadership and d larger percentage of the NASS in support of this day light rape, wants to absolve themselves from this brouhaha with d narrative that "the Lagos-calabar project was never in d original budget"

Now, Ashafa, who is d chairman over transport committee has acknowledged and openly stated that the Hon minister did defend the project before his committee and further sent an amendment in form of a supplementary.

He further claimed that his committee made recommendations on d project to the appropriations committee.

So, why then is d NASS feigning ignorance over this project. Are they telling us that they don't read reports from their various committees and the recommendations these committees make to them (NB: I won't be surprised if those lazy, thieving bunch, don't
)
How can the NASS be at loggerheads with itself ?? They should quit trying to pin this on Amaechi. They're good for nothing, bunch of thieves who care more about their pockets and nothing else.
How come you are not wondering why the presidency and ministry of transport excluded the project from the budget in the first place? We need to lay the blame on the appropriate quarter.

I am very happy Abia state governor came out to set the record straight. The DSS should be sued and cautioned for potential incitement. However, I hate how the governors do nothing but appeal sheepishly to the federal government for help. No states in USA will take this sh!t angry.
Nigeria operates a unitary system of government that does not allow states to control their own security apparatus. The governors are powerless.
The political structure needs to be changed to allow for state police. All the governors, especially the ones from the south need to unite and demand the right to create state police.

How can they be making allegations and yet no substantial evidence to back up their claims. My advice to the Igbo nation, the South South, South West and the Middle Belt is that they should be prepared and sleep with one eye closed. These are very trying times and no one must he caught off guard.
Good morning sir. Continue to insult and ridicule the Igbo nation. You guys will never learn until it is too late.

Buhari's DSS will not act. But as soon as retaliatory steps are taken against the murderers, the DSS will swing into action to protect their brothers.
It is high time the SS, SE, SW, and Middle Belt unite and demand that the Fulani herdsmen be disarmed. They should also demand an end to nomadic cattle rearing.

In as much as the op is right, he is wrong about the last 4 digits on the ATM card. The pin required to complete any transfer using the 737 code is your ATM card pin, which I believe those thieves won't have guessed right if the victim didn't tell them when threatened. I also make use of the 737 service to transfer and perform other transactions and I've never been asked to input any last 4 digit of ATM card. Only your ATM pin will be requested.. Op, Pls next time, make your findings well before u conclude.
Thanks for the clarification.

Have you not wondered why it was only N20, 000 the robbers were able to transfer and no more.
Do you realise the account the funds were transferred to can be traced and with proper investigation when our Police decide to turnup the culprit can be traced in a matter of days more especially in this day and age of BVN.
It is okay to express your concerns but do it with some common sense and not nonsense.
