See, enough of all this razzmatazz.
Much ado about nothing... thank God you have the account details.
What do you think BVN was introduced for? Go to the police.
If someone can help to police cos of a stolen BlackBerry Curve 2 and Aunty Linda can go to commissioner of police cos of ordinary wizkid threat; I see no reason why you can't file a complaint a the station too.
Forget it, Nairaland can't help u on this.
One of the few making sense. You have the account details. Go make complaint at the police station, then to the bank. With his BVN they can track him. He will be made to refund your money and your expenses. And he will have the police to deal with.

The funlani issue isn't the issue of the Nigerian army.
In a modern country, the police will take it up with its swat team.

Well, Nigeria is not a modern country.

Can't believe the reactions from some people. Was it not the state government that accused him of complicity?
Now he was removed, you all blaming tribalism.
I tire for some people oooo
You need to be a little discerning in this case. How come the Army GOC has not been sacked too? It looks like they sacked him because he made a u-turn from his earlier claim exonerating the Fulani herdsmen. They are not sacking him for incompetence.

Brave men die but once but cowards die a thousand times! I pity the CP for not been man enough to say the blunt truth when it matters most! Now he is like the bat!

Has no support of we Igbos for not saying the truth when it was dire and losing the support of the Fulani led FG his defending!
You got it right. The foolish CP messed himself up big time. Every right thinking person knew the attack was by Fulani herdsmen. This fool came out to annoyingly defend them. And then made a u-turn.

The GOC Enugu division 2 must also be sacked else it would seem the CP was sacked for recanting and confirming the attackers were actually herdsmen!!!
Exactly. If they don't sack the GOC and the state DSS Director, then we know he was sacked for blaming the Fulani herdsmen. We are watching.
PoliticsRe: Nwodibo Ekechukwu Sacked As Enugu Police Commissioner by poseidon12: 11:26pm On May 03, 2016
Good riddance to incompetent policing. Now I want to hear that the Army GOC and the Head of the DSS in Enugu State have also been removed. Bunch of incompetents.
The Commissioner of police was more annoying since he kept claiming that the murderers are hoodlums and not Fulani herdsmen. He later reversed himself by saying they are Fulani herdsmen after all. I hope he is being sacked for incompetence and not for saying that the murderers are Fulani herdsmen. Foolish man.

To the best of my knowledge, Anambra State has a vigilante service in place. It was set up by Chris Ngige when he was governor.

In ugwuoba Awka, i have more than 120 Fulani friends.
In Amansea, I have 20 Fulani friends.

That's my able governor, being proactive and talking like the boss should.
State governors should take charge of the security of their states. They should not be waiting for tribalist Buhari to help.
Communities can coexist with the Fulani herdsmen that maintain peace and act within the law.

This xenophobia has to stop. We expect USA and other foreign countries to shun racism, yet we can't shun ethnicity/tribalism?
Blaming all Fulanis for the crime of a few is like blaming all Igbo's for money rituals and all forms of scamming.

By the way most of these news is just propaganda. How many of you igbos know of any of your kindred or villagers that was affected? I keep asking this question and I'm still waiting...
What is your ethnicity sir? This is so we can check if some of your people are also involved in money rituals and scams. You preach against tribalism and yet you practice tribalism. Some Nigerians and hypocrisy.
You have to realize that a Fulani man is the president and commander in chief of the military. He has consistently kept quiet as the killings by his kinsmen has intensified. And northern governors, who are mostly Fulani, are coming out in defense of the killers (in a subtle way). So how do you expect we, the non Fulani /victims to react?
When GEJ was president, if the Niger Delta militants went about killing all over the north, and the government is not dealing with the militants, how do you think the north would have reacted?
Remember that they threatened to make the country ungovernable just because GEJ decided to run for president.
You ask the Igbo how many of their kindred have been affected. So we should all wait until we are personally affected before we can react? So if even one person is killed we should not react? Please tell us what number of Igbo should be killed before we should react. And why are you fixated on the Igbo? Are they the only group complaining? Or is this the usual petty envy and hate?
Prof. Wole Soyinka just complained on these killings by Fulani herdsmen. The Benue people are complaining. Different groups in the Southwest are complaining.
So, sir, what is your problem with the Igbo?

I like how you exposed @omenka by putting up his previous post that showed he is not from Benue, which is obviously why it didn't bother him that Agatu people where massacred. Nigerians can be heartless in their tribalism.

Has Kaduna become a tribe now? I wanted to point out to you that crime is not unique to any tribe in Nigeria. Of course you obviously came across as tribalistic and I believe you know that. Nigerians should get beyond this petty inter-ethnic rivalry and envy.
As for the drug you bought from the store, as some people have already explained, the fact that it has Arabic inscriptions does not necessarily mean it is fake. If it was fake, I believe that the NAFDAC would have taken action since you reported to them. You only assumed they collected bribe and let them off. You should have followed up with Nafdac. You took the right step though. We should all help in weeding out the criminals from the drug distribution channel.

That Nigerian constitution with the lie
"we the people agree"
nobody agreed to that piece of crap.

Solution
The south and other ethnic nationality in the middle belt need to huddle around a conference table, get a map, agree on borders, sign a watertight agreement, take it to UN nations and chart of move towards independence or restructuring.
I have said it many times. This guys will double down on a system that is killing them as long as the tiny fulani and their southern acolytes elite can continue to benefit.
Nigeria has been running on a system they insisted was the best. The result has been a disaster.
I agree. And these steps need to be taken urgently. A confederation would be appropriate for a multi ethnic country like Nigeria.

The fulanis who are Nigerians just like the rest of us have a constitutional right to unrestricted movement to all parts of the country. The law enforcement agencies also have a duty to provide protection to all Nigerians everywhere
Are you sure? The constitution does not give anyone right to trespass into someone's property. Or to cause obstruction on the road with their cows. They must be restricted to ranches. Nigeria is not the private property of the Fulani people.

But the govt is still not completely absolved.. There was a time then gov Ngige had issues with Obj, he security details were all withdrawn. He had to improvise and took charge of security situation in Anambra. Same with Peter Obi. It was pure naivety and delusion on his party to think that GMB would rise to occasion when he never did in Benue, Oyo, Lagos etc.
This is a governor who gets N600 monthly for security and couldnt mobilize his CSO to mobilise local vigilante to forestall attack. Just offering just N2-3million to DPO to mobilise their men would have done a lot to stop these terrorists. These terrorists succeeded because they met no resistance!!
You are right. I think the governor was naïve. He has a lot of learning to do. I hope other governors are learning too.
PoliticsRe: Ugwuanyi Reveals: I Alerted Security Operatives Before Fulani Herdsmen Attack by poseidon12: 1:24am On May 01, 2016
Governor, you need to demand the immediate sack of the heads of the various security agencies that attended the state security council meeting and did nothing to prevent the carnage; especially the commissioner of police, the Army GOC, the Garrison Commander, the police Area Commanders, and the state DSS boss.
South East governors need to coordinate in establishing an armed vigilante system. Then if one state is under attack, other states can assist them. It's obvious that we are on our own as far as security of lives and properties are concerned.
