hedonistic: What did he say that is worse than what the Northern animals were spewing against Jonathan in the months leading up to the last general elections? How many critics did Jonathan arrest during his time?
Buhari's government is fast sliding into a brazen dictatorship. We can't continue with such tyrannical intolerance.
Besides, everything this man wrote on his Facebook page is the undiluted truth! Useless numbers indeed! That's the ONLY thing the core north has to brag about. Nigeria is bigger than any one individual. We have seen the likes of Abacha, IBB. Dictators don't last long in power in Nigeria. |

madridguy: He should have expressed himself without dragging the president's name inside mud. Al-Majiri has been roaming about the street even before PMB was born, what stop him from playing his civic role to liberate the children in Kaduna at his own capability ? So he has committed a heinous crime by "dragging the president's name inside mud"? By the time you blind supporters of Buhari realize the damage you have collectively done to our democracy, it would be too late. People are now scared of expressing their political views especially in the presence of northerners. |

Politics › Re: Biafra: Dutch Lawyers File Complaint Against Buhari At The Hague - Reuters by poseidon12: 7:53am On Jan 30, 2016 |
Buhari has to watch it. At the rate his soldiers are killing unarmed civilian protesters, he might soon be joining Laurent Gbagbo of Ivory Coast in trial at the ICC. Times have changed. This is not 1984/85. We are supposed to be running a democracy where freedom of speech is guaranteed. As long as the IPOB youths are going about their agitation peacefully, they should be left alone.
Having said that, I do not support the call for secession or break up of Nigeria. But we have to make Nigeria work or else you will get more calls for secession as more people get frustrated. To make Nigeria work, Buhari must implement the recommendations of the National Conference to the letter. If he fails to do that then the future will be bleak for Nigeria. |

I'm happy he is out on bail. That is how it should be. Nobody's rights should be violated under the guise of fighting corruption. He should be given the chance to organize his defence just like the prosecution have their chance to organize their evidence against him. I'm impressed he is able to meet the ridiculous bail conditions set by the court due to undue influence by the tyrant that wants to suppress opposition. Onitsha ado do not carry last. |

Politics › Re: We Have Accepted The Supreme Court Verdict - Dakuku Peterside, APC Rivers by poseidon12: 7:21pm On Jan 28, 2016 |
cktheluckyman: Buhari has no control over the Justices of the supreme court!! Those Judges in the moulds of the Chukwudifu Oputas and Kayode Eso's of this would cannot be cowed by the executive. There was simply nothing Buhari could do stop the learned Judges from delivering justice. Exactly. |
Politics › Re: We Have Accepted The Supreme Court Verdict - Dakuku Peterside, APC Rivers by poseidon12: 7:20pm On Jan 28, 2016 |
Ephemmm: With the closeness between Amaechi and PMB, a sane and objective citizen devoid of political affiliation and bitterness would think Dakuku will win case willy-nilly.
Therefore, this verdict is not only a victory for PDP, but a yardstick to ascertain that PMB is truly for nobody but for everybody. God bless PMB: God bless Nigeria.
I beg to disagree. This is the supreme court. The judges there generally don't dance to the tune of the executive. This might have to do with the fact that the supreme court is the highest level any judge can get to. But the high court and appeal court judges might still be hoping to get promoted. So the executive can easily blackmail them into doing his bidding. That is what we see playing out at the high courts with the cases involving Dasuki and Metuh. |

Some people deserted him at the last minute cos they thought all hope was lost for him but I guess God just wanted to show him who and who are for him,and are against him. My advice to him is that he should rule and govern Rivers state so well to a point where the opposition would be totally irrelevant there, and wouldn't even think of fielding a candidate against him in 2019. Wike's victory is an opportunity for the PDP to launch themselves back again; He shouldn't blow it away. Excellent advice. Congrats to Wike. The supreme court of Nigeria has always maintained the integrity of the judiciary. |
