It was the fault of the ruling party, the APC, which went on a rampage to burn INEC offices, card readers and buses in the opposition strongholds. It was also the fault of the inept and compromised security agencies that could not protect INEC offices and properties.
The Commissioners of Police and the Heads of Civil Defence in the affected States should have been asked to resign.
The INEC had no choice than to postpone the election. We cannot have a staggered election as was planned by the APC and the compromised security agencies.

I have always known that most of these fly-by-night political parties are just fronts for the two major parties, APC and PDP.
Next election, INEC should require higher standards to be met before registration as a political party.

I'm not surprised. Most Nigerians in the US have some level of mental problems. The longer you stay in the US, as a Nigerian, the more pronounced your mental issues. This, I believe, has to do with the extreme isolation and stress they face every day. It gets better for those who have a loving family, intact family there. Situation is worse for the single ones, male or female.
These are my personal observations, not based on any study. It would be helpful if the Sociologists among us could do some research in this area.

The PVT is a great idea to ensure the credibility of election results. Kudos to the PDP. This will mess up the APC rigging plans.

May God bless the inec chairman for having the boldness to postpone this weekend elections. Apc had already put mechanisms in place for elections to be postponed or declared inconclusive in some states owing to :
1. Security challenges, example kaduna, zamfara, kogi, rivers, borno.
2. Unavailablity of electoral materials, example enugu, niger, ekiti, parts of anambra, abia, osun.
Elections in the above states would have been scheduled for a later date when the government will repeat the "osun treatment" by deployment of security agencies to rig the elections based on the outcome of the mresults of the 26 states on Feb 16.
