Since this year started this is the most foolish thing I have read.

I can relate with the trauma you live with that led you making this decision. The only help you can render for yourself in order to have peace; talk to someone older, wiser than you, or a therapist.
Life happens to everyone and how we handle it matters. You have handled it the best way you think is right but you are only suppressing a pain that would lead to depression. Always remember, life is beautiful no matter which roof you find yourself and a gender isn't the source of pain.
