You know what you just have to seat your wife down and ask her what's in her mind when she approves of her sister coming with the children to leave with you guys in that small apartment that is not even large enough for your immediate family

Whatever her excuse, give her 3 days to ask them to leave

If after that three days she has not left, then one night, seat both of them down and tell her twins that you and your wife have discussed that she will be leaving because it's too heavy for you alone

Then tell her you will appreciate she gets another place to go with her children in three days time and you can still support her with whatever you can lay your hands on

Aft that just stand up and leave because your statement doesn't require much replies

If after the three days she didn't leave, just relocate permanently to your shop till the house is conducive for you to return

If everything gets settled

Let your wife start some thing doing, if she can't trade let her go on for teaching, let her start contributing from their even if it's cooking gas and electric bills

Most people who add to family burden don't work so they don't feel what you that provides for the family feels

As bad as the economy is, don't allow people to put their pressure on you

It can't just work for 2 of them to be sleeping at home with there kids and expect food frm a single son of man. 2 of them at different time in the last 10yrs have engaged in different petty trading of buying and selling. No go kill your self with worries Mr man.. Life is simple but we make it complicated, once you die of a heart attack or too much stressing of ur livers and organs with worries all those people will move on and life continues.
Here is your solution, call a meeting explaining to them why they have to do something and lessen the bondage on you. Trust me they won't understand, if it is to look for money and let they start a business for her throw that suggestion and who knows she might reach out to her late husband's people and something good might come out.
Like I said Earlier both sisters won't understand when u call the meeting but stand by your decision and with the given time frame. Knowing they are leaving soon will put ur mind and organs at rest. You also should do a contribution to support..

A month of his earning would be sufficient to rent a far better apartment.

You didn't give enough details for an adviser to know how he/she will he able to help? Why are they no longer staying in the house they were living before her husband died?

I have been staring at this topic in quagmire for long...I don't even know what to say because I can't even imagine myself in such scenario, God's knows I might have ran away from both my wife, kids and every other person, but (n'am gberede ke jia mara dike)

@Wasuka14... you just have to reach out to your in-laws, everybody must contribute to the welfare of those kids and there daughter, underline the word MUST, perhaps her brothers, uncles, elders etc, a fundraising needs to be raised asap to get them an apartment to start with while they work towards looking for any means to attain a sufficient standard of living...
