I had similar experience in my hood some years back. The lady foot all wedding bills including clothing the guy.

Honey moon was done at bride's brother's place. 2 days into the marriage quarelling started.

I can understand your concern for your neighbor about dating an irresponsible guy. I don't understand why anyone would want to be with a partner that will leech off them and pull them down. But if you've adviced her and she's still adamant in continuing the relationship, then you have to just accept her choice and let her be.
