1.3million bid on Diamond ... What's cooking? Anybody perceives a foretaste of the result?

Is ACCESS bank a good buy again considering their impending N100B capital raising? Is this not the case of Diamond bank in the making?
I need critical views on this.
Will it be better to offload ACCESS now and convert to either GTB or Zenith?

Based on the current situation of Naija, the only banking stock I will keep in my LONG TERM portfolio is GTB.

i bought eti during their i.p.o and later last two years the stock was delisted from my portfolio, which my broker was unable to give account of it.anybody with assistance of how to go about the recovery should pls help

This is why it is good to register with CSCS online so that you can better monitor your portfolio. It will cost just N2,500 per year for an individual account. If you already have a CSCS online, check the list of stocks you have in there. If you can't find your ETI it means it has been sold by your broker.

the peg will have to give way , its a matter of time

Honestly if not for the benefit of the masses some of us areant even praying for the peg to give way anytime soon because a very good extra streamline of income will be badly affected.

Imagine sourcing USD btw N208 and N248 via int'l transfer only to end up disposing at N319 smiley

The last time such opportunity cropped up was in 2009 towards the end of Soludo's tenure so abeg make una leave Pa.Bubu alone. grin

Based on what I have heard from customers of Inv one, they must be almost as useless as Meristem. Any trading platform that doesn't allow investors to edit or cancel their orders is a nonsense platform. It is better to move your portfolio to MorganCapital and enjoy what you are paying for. Meristem used to allow orders to be edited but not anymore, and stop loss orders are no longer possible on their platform.
Orders can still be edited!

You can't edit on Meristem but you can cancel and sometimes the order won't cancel.

http://abokifx.com/over-17-billion-shipped-out-of-nigeria-by-powerful-individuals-in-suspect-transactions-businessday/

A massive leaked document from global law firm Mossack Fonseca revealed by International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) has revealed that Nigeria’s rich and powerful elite including politicians, celebrities, and wealthy individuals were responsible for the average export of $17, 804 billion out of the country from 2004 to 2013 through illegal and suspect transactions.

An average of US$14, 802 billion in physical cash and US$2, 984 billion in trade misinvoicing also left the country within the period of 2004 to 2013. The document estimates that nearly US$1 trillion of unrecorded money shifts out of emerging market and developing countries annually.

Ok, but that's not editing. They used to have the 'Edit' and 'Cancel' tabs. but they later remove the 'Edit' tab. As mentioned by @angelo82, it is sometimes not possible to cancel. You will have to call Meristem to cancel it from their end.

ANGOLA, HIT BY COLLAPSE OF OIL PRICES , SEEKS IMF AID

Angola has just sold its soul to the devil. After giving you these funds, the IMF would force you through its terms to devalue your currency, thereby instantly doubling what you would have to repay to them. Instant slavery!

The above is what most Nigerians are unknowingly clamouring for by shouting that Buhari has no policy direction. Foreign investors are running away because Buhari has no 'policy direction,' when in the real sense, the 'policy direction' which the exploiters are citing as their basis to run away is nothing but devaluation of the Naira. The only policy direction they want is an outright devaluation so they can rush in and rake in mega profits irrespective of the detriments to Nigerians in form of inflation. The bait is simple, 'if you devalue and allow us access to your forex reserves at will, we will invest in your country and bring in more forex to help your country.' But it is all scam, this same excuse has been used since the 80's when N1=$2, but the benefits of devaluations never worked in Nigeria. But today, Nigerians are about to play into the hands of these hawks again by accusing the CBN of not devaluing.
