BREAKING: Sanwo-olu Leads Agbaje With An Unassailable 400,000 Votes With 5 Lgs by midolian(op): 3:08pm On Mar 10, 2019*

From the results announced for 15 local government areas so far, the All Progressives Congress is currently in the lead by a wide margin.

Results from five local government had not been announced at the time of this report.

One of the LGAs with wide margins is Mushin, where APC polled a whopping 51,899 votes to defeat the Peoples Democratic party, which secured just 8,751 votes.

Also, in Apapa LGA where Jimi Agbaje, the PDP governorship candidate in Lagos hails from, Agbaje polled 5,959 votes but was no match for Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the APC governorship candidate, who secured 20,469 votes.

In all, after results from 15 local government areas, APC has polled 522,140 votes while PDP has 142,392, leaving Agbaje with the tall mission of closing up a gap of 379,748 votes with five local governments to go.

This election is not free and fair..

By my calculation, the population of Igbos in Lagos is far more than the population of yorubas. Jimi aligned with the Igbos and I am sure they all gave him their votes..so it's statistically impossible for APC to win with such a wide margin...

@ the bolded, which Lagos are you referring to? I'm guessing you're Ben sarcastic.
As for the topic, it's not unexpected giving the credentials of Sanwolu and the anticidents to logos government since 1999. Majority of Lagosians are too wise to to try an inexperienced option when it's simply unnecessary to do so.
Tinubu allows Samwolu to emerge from a direct primary given all party members a sense of belonging; that's the wisest move. Agbaje and PDP can't stand a chance even with their divisive politicking.

Damn...Yoruba people in Lagos really meant to prove a point in this election ooo, even ambode/agbaje didn't have this crazy landslide it was a close margin in 2015. I guess some people can now finally shut up and know their place as completely irrelevant in politics of Yorubaland.
