People are just anxious to die.

Even the protest aids transmission of the virus.

In the quest to keep them safe, they still revolting.

Pls read what you wrote again. How can I hungry person find something to eat while there are no economic activity taking place?
Do you Know that there are people that eat by what they make in a day?
Well the truth is that a hungry man is an angry man and soon the 'have not ' will take by force from those that 'have'
Actually, they won't.
The Nigerian army is already prepared for them.
The leaked memo is only one of the plans.

When faced with hunger or certain death, people will choose hunger.

This lockdown lockdown they are shouting all over will eventually end in chaos . It is absolutely insane to lockdown ppl in their houses for 2 weeks without providing them any food and expect them not to react.
Even the countries that started this lockdown method didn't do it this way, they are providing daily food to everyone and during the lockdown, they are going into every house testing everyone.
We are just telling ppl to lockdown , we are not testing them to know who and who is infected?
What the fg should have done is to close all schools ,give workers both state and federal workers 4 weeks break with double pay, ask all non essential private business to close for the same period , this will automatically reduce movement by 50% , give food markets 8hrs period to open every day. And establish testing centers in all wards and local government areas ,.TESTING IS THE KEY TO DEFEATING CORONA VIRUS NOT LOCKDOWN . the more you get ppl tested, the more you will understand and know what to do.

I really don't get why most of you hear always give false information.

I guess many do not understand the extent of the multiplicative effects of Corona virus otherwise, they will appreciate the scripture on how for a hungry person than the dead.
So hunger doesn't kill Abi?

You cannot lock a man up without food and other basic needs and expect him not to react..

I wonder whether some of you that makes these arguments, take a second to reason and think about real life situations.

I have been saying repeatedly that this thing is a natural cause that will surely fight for itself and it has already started happening. You can't lockdown people inside house without food most especially and you expect them to stay there. Food is number one essential need and cannot be substituted or compromised. When hunger becomes unbearable, people will surely come out to look for food. That time, neither Corona Virus nor gun from task enforcement officers can be a threat to them. IT'S A NATURAL CAUSE.

I like bad governance for one thing. When the chips are down those who were in support because of the momentary gain suffer as much as those who are not in support. Lagos was one of the states that made sure buhari goes back into power despite bring grossly incompetent now they can't stay at home. For some young guys that found a digital skills before now that still de cash out till tomorrow you already know u found gold. To the rest of the poor, starving miserable bastards that voted buhari in, if u stay alive to see 2023, activate your senses and vote wise.

It's an opened choice to all. But the threat is that the stupidity of an individual will manifest on hundreds. That's just the only pain.

how would you hear of anyone die of hunger when an hungry man wont be taken to hospital. It's the sick people that are taken to the hospital hence the record of their cause of death. So what I'm trying to say is that there are deaths as a result of hunger, just that it is hardly known since the deaths don't happen in hospitals.

You obviously come from a privileged home... Daily people die of hunger around the world.. Please leave your comfort zone

Most of people right here in Nairalander.. U guys have enough and some doesn't have.. That's why you speak like that. Lagos state government are really trying, however, they've been standout since this pandemic has started.. But mind you, there is know way they can satisfy everybody. And if you go hunger in a day.. You will understand what the name called HUNGER is. A guy DM me on my IG account. He state his name and location.. He said having coronavirus is even more better than stay at home without eating anything. And he asked me anyway I can help. I was like crying. I just pray God help us all.

Though this news is fake.

It takes 3 weeks plus of no food at all for a person to die of hunger.

While you raised some valid points, you must understand why governments around the world are implementing lockdowns.

The truth of the matter is that Covid-19 is a new virus, and researchers don't know much about it up till now.

It is veryyyyyyyy misleading to assume that the little you know about the disease is all there is to it. Yes, researchers are losing sleep just to understand it better even till today.

For instance, if you read some facts about Covid-19 on WHO website, you will see that there are many questions begging for answers.

In summary, you can only contain something you understand not something you don't. The idea of lockdown is to reduce human interaction to the barest minimum because it's the fastest way of reducing the spread of Covid-19 pandemic.

It's quite a pity that we always bastardize things in this country, including religion and lockdowns.
i find more sense in what you quoted than what you posted.

It's just inevitable. I've said it many times here in recent history that people will turn against their governments as long as this lockdown persists.
