I was glued to this riveting story of yours to the very end. I swear to God, this poignant story of yours if made into a movie will rake in millions at the box office. Directed by a very capable director, the movie will be the bomb. Goodness me!

Guy, you need to pen down this story in detail because if it's made into a novel, it'll surely sell millions of copies. The end of the story may however be modified to end happily.

Bros, find a good playwright or screenwriter or novelist and get to work fast. This is your avenue to become a multimilionaire. Trust me.
If you can find a foreigner, better. I see you rising to the very top again, never ever give up hope.

Tankunland, please take this advice very seriously.

His thoughts were my same thoughts about this your life story.

Your story can be your breakthrough. It could rank in the same category with movies like:

Life of Pi
Slumdog Millionaire
Beast of no Nation
Atonement
Acrimony
Titanic
The Pursuit of Happyness

Such engaging life account is what the academy awards (Oscar) are made for.

Today the 8 of April makes it exactly 1 year that one of my bank accounts had over a million naira and it was that same amount that changed my life forever.

yes it changed my life so badly that it nearly made me commit suicide but thanks to these beautiful forum that came to my aid at just the last seconds of ending it all.

Now what you are about to read is my life story of how everything changed for bad in the space of just under a year and how
(1) i lost my job,
(2) my loving girlfriend dumped me,
(2) how I overcame some deep temptations
(4) how I overcame deep depression and nearly killed my self
(5) and how that my ex died and in her death I knew I had a son.

Just deciding to write about these has gotten me in a melancholy mood as I have been in a morose state for the past few days thinking about how my life changed but I know someone might learn from it. Now I had to use a new moniker for this as my former moniker has many things pointing directly to me as I don't want anyone I know to know it's me but I would surely be reading the comments with my real account and these could be lengthy but bear with me

How can I reach you bro? Let's connect

What do you learn from this experience?

First, you lost your dad, you where brought up definitely by a poor single mother who later died after several failed attempt to make life better for you.

You stated like 3times in your line of story that you single handedly sponsored your mothers burial, right? Probably you're the only child of your mother. But you made mention of your uncle's a d aunts.

Few months after your mother's burial things went south for you.

You lost you job, your investment, your relationship and then your love to the cold hands of death.

Do you think your enemies have stop even at this time?

Do you think some member of your family are happy with you?

It time you started digging deep to do d the root cause of your predicament.

It time you draw very close to God so that your enemy dont over come you.

Its not enough to write and share experiences of life but the finally success of victory and i pray you live to share that victory when you're old.

I know you have a good heart, please continue with such acts, God will see you through. Please, take care of your kids (note I used KIDS not kid ), they are God's blessing to us.

wink Assuming Shola didn’t die you would still have collected her back, sorry bro you are still the same emotional weak man. You need to start using your sense and and start being mean in a relationship, you need to read some books to change your perception about women, I hope you have learnt your lessons and please next time date a single lady who who give you your own kids afresh. Go get a DNA done and don’t think because he looks like you then he’s your child, you are only still being emotional and not being realistic with yourself. Good luck

Being mean to women will not help you

The key to dealing with women is to "use your number 6"

There are certain hard decisions you may be faced with concerning women...
And you have to damn all consequences and take them
Regardless of how you think.

The OP failed in taking the hard decisions when it mattered most
And that cost him dearly
I hope you have learnt

You just saved a soul bro.

[21quote author=Tankunland post=88215811] When Shola's mom called me her first question was do i know who the father of Samuel is and I replied and said yes of course it's her grand daughters dad and she said to me I'm the real father of Samuel and that her late daughter reiterated it 2 days before she died guys I went crazy again.

Why me, why me, why me was the question I was asking my self. Why is all this thing's happening to me was the question that just kept repeating itself in my head.

I went to see my boy and the connection was instant ooo just carrying him again after 6 months send shivers down my spine and now I'm just waiting for his Grandma to tell the other guy that Samuel is mine.

I have already started sending my kid small small money again for his up keep Lol even tho not much because I don't even have much now but i would do everything within my power to give this Young kid the best of life that me and his late mother my queen his mother planned for him even when I never knew he was mine.

Wow I'm done. My hands ache. Just wanna say thank you to Seun Osewa for this beautiful forum, thank you to Joe Abah for retweeting that tweet even tho it hasn't yield devident yet but thanks and thank you to those beautiful souls that saved my life with that 9k I know you remember me and I say God bless you.

and to those on the verge of suicide I tell you that you can overcome and it's not the end of the world for you and Whatever you are passing through has an end ok and I need you to realize people somewhere is passing through the same or even harder situation than you. Don't give up, don't stop praying even tho I lost my faith a lil but don't lose yours because only the almighty can do all things.

To my young sister's reading this please be contented with what your man gives to you. The course of sholas death was so painful when I heard but please my dear sister dont date a Yahoo boy for any reason or even go out with one.

I tell you Yahoo doesn't work again and what they do now is Yahoo plus and some of this guy's are heartless and don't care about anyone than just to make that fetish money amd they would use you and any other girl they find to keep that money coming.

To my Young King's reading this don't have a girlfriend in your 20s please. Use that time to develop your self. Work hard to make yourself better as getting a girlfriend would really slow you dowm from attaining that top you want to go.

And last Please if you are too weak to move on or too tired to live again and you think suicide is your escape please speak out, yes some would laugh at you and call you names but speak out as there is that one person that would listen to you.

I LOVE YOU SHOLA AND REST IN PEACE[/quote]

As someone who doesn't believe in all those fetish money BS, I don't know what to make of this story. How red clothes wiped on virgy and goat blood bath will yield money is one thing I find very funny, and they call it Yahoo ABI Yahoo Plus — just lazy African youths giving their minds reasons to continue in their laziness. Why isn't the babalawo as rich as Dangote? Did Mark Zuckerberg or our own Seun here tie red clothes before developing their own money-yielding ventures?

The whole world awaits the emancipation of African youths from the shackles of laziness and superstition!

So Europeans and Asians don't get involved in rituals and blood money? Wallow in ignorance

I can agree to that

But as for single mothers

They come with their peculiarities
And most men cant deal with it.

If you are in that bracket
It's best you stay away

Single mothers have their category

And its 9/10 not for young men coming up

Not that single women are by default terrible

But it's just the situation they are in

We got back together and it was such a beautiful time. She practically stayed with me with lil Samuel while the daughter was with her Mom. Samuel became so dear to my heart that I did everything for him as to me he was my first son and everything from December of 2018 till April was so good for me and my 2 step kids and my girlfriend

Now my salary was alway paid into my FIRST Bank account and not for a day did I touch my salary after I had emptied it in December of 2017 for mom's burial I saved all of my salary till March of 2019( I don't smoke or drink or go clubbing even tho that innovation I said I did in my hotel was done in the club of my hotel) I had other investment like buying bikes (OKADA) for people to ride for me while they pay me daily. And after my salary of March was paid I decided to transfer everything I had from my investment account of UBA to my salary account and it was 1.3M and I decided to be foolish.

I decided to rent a bigger apartment for my Young family instead of investing it all again. I remember it was on the 8 of April when i paid 300k for an apartment and I used another 300k to furnish it to my taste because I wanted my new family to be comfortable.( I guess I just needed someone to replace the love of mom that I lost when she died I'm an orphan dad died when I was barely 2) guy's I and my family got into my new apartment on the 17 of April and decided to buy a new Keke napep for 635k on the 18 of April and the Keke was stolen on the 21 of April I nearly went mad but guess what guys I lost my job on the 27 of April without me doing anything to my boss

On the 8 of April I had 1.3M and a job and on the morning of the 28 I didn't have a job again and my account was down to less than 20k. It felt unreal, it didn't feel real, I didn't understand what was happening, it felt like a dream but whenever I tried to wake up from it I realised it was real.

I and my lil family started managing the remaining 20k but it was so lil that I had to sell my new fridge on olx less than 2 weeks after because I hated begging or been on the fate of others. I remember selling that fridge for 30k and gave my girlfriend 20k to keep us fed while I used 10k to look for jobs but I didn't see any and in less than 2 weeks my own 10k was gone and my girlfriend had less than 3k left from the 20k I gave her and the first temptation came.

Remember I worked in an hotel right? and in every single hotel I don't know about the island but in the mainland the biggest customers are always guy's into fraud and what we know as Yahoo Yahoo. I had a laptop then that my daughter use to play game with or that I use to watch movies or use to browse irrelevant thing's with and my girlfriend needed some money and feeding at home was getting difficult for my family so I took my laptop to the place I worked before to sell and one of the our regular customer then told me I lost my job and in less than 5 weeks i was already lean, and he said that instead of me selling my laptop he would teach me work and take me to ijebu to meet his babalawo and I would be cashing out in less than 2 weeks and right there he gave me 5k and told me to go home to think about it and give him an answer in 2 days. I remember going home with the 5k and my laptop and my girlfriend asked me why is my laptop still with me when I knew she needed money. She needed 15k I think and I told her I couldn't get anyone to buy it but I had 5k that she and the kids could manage and for the first time after we came back together she nagged so much and said something's that I won't say here. That night I tried touching her and she said no sex until I got her that money and all through the night I couldn't sleep as my mind was all over the place like I was failing my family and that night I decided to go to ijebu.

Now let me tell you a lil thing about me and my girlfriend. I was 22 and still playing football while she was 15 when we met in the year 2015 and She already had a few months old daughter then. She loved me for who I was then, after training she would bring food for me, when I was at camp and needed card she would send card to me if I couldn't get to mom she would send me card, if she had 1k and I needed it she would give it to me, she would steal her mom's money to give to me to travel to play football, when I had any injury shr would be there to nature me back to health, she would pray for me, she was there for me sincerely so I felt I owed her for her sacrifices for me then. She was there for me ooo and yes she had her flaws because she was a young lady but she was an Angel and still my angel. Anyways Let me get back to my story

If you are still living in that apartment, kindly try to pack out

Thanks for sharing your life story. This will change many lives.
Nuggets:
- Young people should invest in their lives first, like getting good education, skills, investments, etc
- You are not rich until you can make passive income. Passive income means money coming in without you really getting involved. Like real estate, stocks dividends, stable businesses.
- Spend wisely. Don't waste money on weddings, burial or birthday. You can marry with just 30k Naira. If glam is ur problem, do it during normal Sunday Church service. Nobody expects food on Sunday Service. Your Pastor will call both of you out in-between the service and bless you. People will dance and your video will look good for your Instagram followers that don't really care about you. Take good care of your parents when they are alive, once they are gone, don't waste any money to bury them. I love how Muslims do their burial. Just wrap the thing and drop inside the grave. I think they understand the concept of body and Spirit better.
- Don't be emotional while dealing with ladies, be realistic. The majority of Ladies rarely cheat by mistake, they get emotionally connected before going down with you. Cheating-wise, men are even more redeemable than women. Once she left, think twice before taking her back. Also, the initial kindness of the girl na calcu. Ladies are very wise and they can predict your future more than you. All the initial caring of the lady was about his football career. She thought he will make it to Europe.

For Op:
We thank God for your life. Thank God you are still young and can pick up the pieces. Important things in your life now are investing in yourself, find a job and provide for your boy.
-When life returns to normalcy after Coro, you can be a danfo/Uber driver. Go to nairaland Uber page, many people are looking for responsible guys that can drive their cars. Now that you are a popular jingo here, people will easily trust you. You can be making 30k-40k Naira/week. Also, record your story into like 10-series video and put it on Youtube. Monetize it and that can generate something small for you forever. If you are lucky, your story goes viral and get millions of views, you may be able to afford your own small car for Uber. I am not saying you should become a Youtuber if that is not in you, just let your story reach more people. While you are blessing them, you are also making something little from it.
-Be more prudent this time around. No give away to any family or friends. No spending on burials, wedding, birthdays, Aso Ebi, etc
-Save good money. Get a degree or a viable skill. You can teach yourself IT, like app development, software dev, movie editing, graphics designing. If IT is ur interest, reach out to me, I can bombard you with books, materials, advice and raise a Laptop purchase funding for you here on Nairaland if we discover you are serious. You can even learn mechanic. All I care about is that you get an education or learn any viable skill cos danfo/Uber driving is just a stop-gap.
-Take care of your boy. When you start making money, do a DNA test just for future reference.
-Marriage/girlfriend should not be in your dictionary until 5 yrs time.

That was almost two decades though...let me not derail your thread but so far I see you as one not prudent with cash... The 1500 you get per day,you spent almost all the money that same day?
There is something called inflation.

People say that I've missed a lot In life; that my humanity is dead and gone, but I tell you, there's nothing crass in calling this Op a compound fool for venturing into drowning waters by shouldering the cost implications of a family not his, especially when subsisting on what is practically a pittance in Nigerian society.
I could pass off your first naive mistake, but going back to your vomit after her perfidy is untenable and stupid.

So, count me out of your pity party overwhelmed with visceral impulse. If this is how you plan to forge as a person, then you lack what it takes to survive as a man, for until you learn to set aside your little emotional desire or fancy, you'll never understand what life entails.

You dont have to talk that way

You wont understand

When you dont have a father figure in your life to guide you.....

Mistakes like the ones he made are inevitable

We need more father figures in the lives of our young men

Cos as it stands
We are failing woefully in that regard

Please Sir, don't fail to understand one thing important.

You gave the Shola 20k to go kill the baby. She must have been disappointed in you and that complicated her relationship with you.

Add to your life lessons: Thou shalt not kill.
Make sure you find legal ways and take care of your son.

Don't fail to do DNA test!

Another good advice

I LOVE YOU SHOLA AND REST IN PEACE

You should learn from your past and get closer to God (someone PROBABLY dropped sorrow into your life out of envy. Your mom who supported you spiritually is dead, so that made the arrow enter well.) Don't let oyinbo deceive you ooo !!! Africa is wicked

I understand where you are coming from but imagine where you'll be if you had only focused on yourself and not take on the responsibilities of others even if it seems cruel. Loyalty is for men. Invest more in your male buddies. Most will always have your back during hard times. And never ever try to go between a baby mama & her dude, She'll leave you for him EVERY TIME. Glad you're alive though, never stop trying.
My guy! Na so! I don tell them. Den no dey hear

What are the chances that that simp that came to your lab had a son that looked exactly like his next door neighbor but had his DNA.

This is real. In the old days women or girls who lost their virginity where considered tainted and impure and carrying the genes of their sex mates.

All ye wannabe "red pill" fellows in Nigeria are just ridiculous mehn
