I wouldn't say you shouldn't be scared because for one, you did something wrong by hurting the animal. What you should have done was talking to the owner about hw you're disturbed in the first place to see if she could address the situation. So now i advice you confess to her.

In my life do you know what i do, i simply live carefully. God will not hold you guiltless if you were to be harmed, he is a God of justice.

You went too extreme by pouring hot water on that goat! If the woman is not spiritual, God will fight back on behalf of the God. What different does it make if you ask for the owner of the goat and laid formal complain.

Goat are naturally stubborn animals and your reaction wasn’t cool at all. The innocent animal don’t deserve such harsh treatment. You should have communicated to the owner. Go tell the what you did, if you feel you must tell her it is intentional, do but tell her you are sorry. Also ensure she keep the animal in check, please hold your ground in this part and ensure it works that way. What you shouldn’t do is to timidly deny you poured the hot water intentionally especially if she ask. If she didn’t don’t say it then. And don’t succumb to been blackmailed while being sorry at same time.
But expect a harsh reaction from her, it is normal, just ensure you her time to get over it.

Why would someone be rearing goats in a rented residential building? Some people are just inconsiderate.

Don’t confess anything. She probably knows you did it anyway since they’re always at your window. That also means she knows they are a nuisance.

I have lived in Ogun state before and I like one thing about Yorubas. They are easy going unlike others tribes in Naija...Just apologize and she will forgive you, expect insults to rain on you sha. Yorubas can insult you from now till tomorrow but once they notice you are humble and remorseful they can easily forgive.

That's extreme. You shouldn't have poured hot water on the goats. Rather u should have discussed with the woman and found a solution to it. One who does that is capable of hurting his fellow men.
Go to her n say were provided to do it n that u r sorry. You may offer to pay the woman for the goats if any died.

I would have killed one of the goat and split the meat into two dishes- some parts for correct nkwobi and the other parts for asun.

First what you did is cruel to both man and animal, and should be condemned in every possible strong term. You need to learn tolerance and communication.

That said, to be brave is to meet the woman in the middle of her incantations and say "Mama, stop that nonsense!. Stop wasting your time and energy. I did it because I warned you repeatedly. I have been looking for the appropriate time to tell you. Please don't disturb yourself again. If you have 100 goats and you don't control them around my place I will do it again!"

That is the brave thing to do. Otherwise, you will live in perpetual fear. Even when you have headache, you will attribute it to the woman's incantations.

I remembered when i was in primary school... I played rough with one of my grandmother goat that was pregnant (using the door to press the Tommy). Few days after...the goat gave birth prematurely and non of them survived. I didn't connect my act and the hurting goat till i got married about 8 years ago. I practically forgot in entirety. Anytime i remember dia is this guilt that hit me. I usually ask for forgiveness from God till date. Funny that is the only thing i remember i did that hunt .

Now back to you. You poured Hot water on a goat that was made to be stubborn. Without recourse to the owner. If the owner should put your case in her head... the retribution will be swift. Now....go and confess then ask the goat and God for forgiveness.

Lets i forget...wify lost first pregnancy six month gone. Connecting the past or not....what I did was wrong then and required forgiveness from God.

This is not about being brave....the question is can you survive the impact of what is about to hit you?
