Quite often than not, I read narratives here, where the OPs and even those in the comment section are crying foul that their love interests are not taking them serious after spending so much on them. The truth of the matter is that no woman would take a man who spends carelessly on her in the early stages of a relationship serious. The early stage should be invested in knowing the other person than trying to impress her. Men need to learn that also. Impress your lady with your worth (not financial) and not your pockets..

Giving a lady money shud only be to enhance the the relationship and not trade off for love against values or virtues hence shud be done carefully, sensibly and only when necessary especially at the onset unless u just want to be charitable which is also fine bt then u will not be expecting/demanding anything in return emotionally or otherwise.

Well this true in most cases on Nigerian women. It is the opposite from here I live now. Women don't care about your money except your trust and love. Being in relationship here is about commitment not obligation or ATM cash machine.
