*Nigerian Man Disowned By His Father For Choosing Carpentry Over Medicine Returns*

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJNf69409Y0

A Nigerian man identified simply as Moses has reunited with his father, 15 years after he was disowned. Our ABUJAPRESS gathered that Moses was disowned by his father after he insisted on carpentry career over medicine and surgery, his family choice.

Moses Amiebenomo who is popularly known as Celebrity Carpenter had appeared on human right TV Abuja in a programme, Brekete Family where he solicited for his father's forgiveness for disobeying him.

He revealed that his father wanted him to study medicine and surgery and become a doctor, but he preferred to be a carpenter instead. According to him, that is what makes him happy.

Moses said he knew his father would not want him to be unhappy, so he chose to be a carpenter, because that’s what he wanted. He added that his choice of career has opened many doors of opportunities for him and that he has achieved a lot in life.

Moses who is from Edo state expressed regret that when his father had a surgery, he could not visit him in Kaduna because they were not in good terms.

“I am not a bad boy, I don’t smoke or drink, I don’t keep bad friends, steal or do fraud and I have touched lives through the carpentry work I am doing”, he stated.

Moses begged his father to forgive and accept him back, urging Nigerians to assist him in appealing to his father for his forgiveness. He wants to be part of his life, he also wants him to enjoy what he worked hard for. Moses begged people in the program to help him beg his daddy, whose name is barrister Idris Amiebenomo.

Following this appeal, he later shared a video of himself and his father talking and laughing together, in what seem like a sweet reunion.

“After 15 years I have reunited with my father, and I just found out he is a Liverpool fan like myself, blood is thicker than water”, he said in a post on Instagram.
I can't believe O watched this video to the end.

I know with the advent of the wokeness culture, what makes Africa African is beginning to be shoved aside. Africa used to have values and norms which they upholds to the highest level. Sex education didn't used to be for children and it worked so fine.

Our contemporary society maybe trying to educate children on matters surrounding sex but I think they are going to far, it should be a very gradual step, with more knowledge added at different stages in life. Not just exposing everything in two shakes of a dog's tail.

I came across this, do u all think it's too heavy for kids
This is pornography. The writer of that book has no knowledge of what sex education is.

2. BEE Network: believe it or not the world is changing as you know. Web 3, hologram, metaverse etc are going to be our everyday experience.

Bee network provides "fuel" for gaming. Gaming focused cryptos are very useful. I could remember when Illuvium, a gaming crypto, climbed as high as $2000 per coin (not a financial advise).

The Bee network is one of the cryptos with high utilities that you can mine on your phone.

This last Valentine's day 14th February, 2023 was the happiest day of my life.

I felt the kind of joy I have never felt before seeing my Mama so exhilarated that she is reaping the fruits of her Labour.

For all those that wish to do good things for their Parents, I pray that the Lord makes it easy for you 🙏
The Lord is in your neighbourhood.

And for those that have the means but are yet to make moves for their Parents, kindly consider. I am sure you will never regret the decision.
Great job bro.

The first Crypto I will like to talk about here is Remint Network

I am particularly surprised that you can mine this coin for free (for now). It has insane real world use case. For those of us that are actively following the events in the global finance, we know that the world is moving towards tokenization ( story for another day). This coin is positioned at the heart of the real estate sector. The global real estate is around $4T. That makes this coin a gem to have.

As at now, you can mine this coin on your phone. I am not going to be sharing any link here. You can search for this app on PlayStore of on Google.

You can encourage me for providing this information by using my referral code which will allow me to have some coins for my service to you: 7HC759D3

When Core Network Launch in January this year, most people, including myself, ignored it. This was due to the fact that many people have been mining Pi Network for years with no end in sight.

Last month, some of my friend made as much as $600 from Core. Though I was no involved in Core, I wouldn't have sold my coins. I believe Core could be a big deal some day.

I have researched certain coins that I believe have the potential of blowing up in the nearest future. And I am going to empty my thought on this topic here. I hope someone find this useful some day soon.

The road to America

By the end of March 2022, I have received responses for all my school applications. I have four total offers with one being funded. I was very happy but I decided to keep calm as I have read several cases of people being denied visas at the embassy.

I proceeded to arrange for the payment of my SEVIS and visa fees. I had a little delay with the payment of my SEVIS fee, so I could not pay on time. For this reason, I missed the early dates that were released for the interview. When the money was finally paid, I started looking for interview dates in Abuja. This process was arguably one of the hardest as dates were always not available. After a series of sleepless nights and sleeping on my computer keyboard, I managed to get a date that was a few days to resumption. I picked this date and began my preparation for the visa interview.

When it was two days before my interview, I left Ogun State for Abuja by road. Prior to this time, I have read news of kidnappings on the road. Although the news greatly disturbed me and my loved ones, the flight cost was exorbitant and going for that option would create a big hole in my finances considering my current and future expenses.

I got to Abuja at night and lodged at a guesthouse for two nights. On the day of the interview, I woke up very early and went to the US Embassy at Diplomatic Drive. When I got there, I met other people who were the for the same purpose and I went straight to the front. About an hour later, we lined up and were told to go in after the checks.

Throughout the process, I was so nervous because the stakes were so high. Since I was the first person in the queue, I was also the first person to be interviewed by the visa officer. My interview lasted for less than three minutes and I was approved. I quickly took my files and left the embassy for the guesthouse. Then I called my family and friends to inform them about the good news. It seemed surreal! My visa has been approved and I will be going to America!

A few weeks later, I booked my flight and the travel was scheduled for December. After spending time with my family and loved ones, I departed Nigeria for the United States in December 2022.

Yes, dreams do come true! I hope someone will try again one more time before giving up on life.
I read your story all through. It was inspiring. I hope you still reach out to those that went out of their way to help you in one way or the other?

And try to help others as well (as much as you can). I wish you the best in life.

Hello nairalander

Presently I'm working with a company as warehouse officer, we work Monday till Saturday including public holidays. I have worked for about 7months with this company...

While working for this company, I have been applying for jobs with high pays and luckily, I got an invite from a skin care production company as an inventory manager, which I went for the interview and I did very well.

The next day, they called me that im really qualify for the job and they will like me to resume with them quickly..

Mind you, im yet to resign from this said company I'm working it, and when you want to resign you must give them three weeks notice..

This new company pay is ok and it's more closer than this place I'm working and the working days is ok too... Working days is just only Tuesday- Saturday..

Now the problem I'm having with them is that, the lady that called me (don't know if she is the hr ) Said I will b on probation for 2months and I will b paid 70% of my salary that after probation, if I meet up with what the company want, that when I will be paid my full salary and given offer letter...

Which I didn't really buy that idea because where I'm working presently, I was given offer letter before I resumed and all this was stated ( probation period and salary)and I wasn't paid 70% of my salary.. but after my probation for Three months, 5k was added to my salary anyway

NB: ( this new place is just 15k higher than this place I'm working )

But I told the lady that I will only resume if I will been given an offer letter which we didn't concluded better on phone.. but I informed the lady I will resume on Tuesday next week... Because she said I should come and talk to the person in charge..

Now I HV made my decision which I'm yet to tell them.. my decision is that... Untill I received an offer letter, dat when I will resign here and resume with them properly and I won't accept the 70% of the salary either 90percent or I should be paid in full... Because this position I'm applying for I already have over 2yrs experience.

Now the question, is it better I tell them my decision when I resume there on Tuesday since I will be talking to the person in charge or I should just sent the lady my decision via email, so as to communicate with the management and let me know their decision...

Which do you think is best to do..

The lady sent me this as written in the company hard book...

Though the salary I will be paid is above 65k
Something tells me that this people will frustrate u.
