When I read your post I knew it was not coming from the usual nairaland teenagers behind internet devices.

Body weight is not a determiner of laziness,I look around my organization and I see some plus size people who are doing great at their jobs .While some are just a bag of complain ,today they are sick , tommmorrow its something else.

I have come to that level of maturity where I don't write off people based on physical appearance, tribe, religion or even first impressions .
Very mature comment. With more people reasoning like you on Nairaland I think there is a real hope here.

What is attractive or beautiful about a person often has little to do with their physical configuration, and everything to do with the quality of person. I would pick a lovely personality and an intelligent lady any day above one who has nothing else to show other than the physical structure she inherited from her ancestors.

By "lovely personality and an intelligent lady" I mean Twoclans wink

EducationUnilorin, Its Institutionalized Scam In Postgraduate Education by poyebad(op): 12:31pm On Sep 28, 2018
Recently, University of Ilorin entered the wrong kind of limelight when it was revealed that its ASUU Chairman was a serial plagiarizer. Plagiarism is arguably the worst kind of academic crime anywhere in the world. But that's not all there is to the popular Better by far university.

Investigations revealed that what is perhaps worse that plagiarism in the institution on the scale of regularity is the culture of institutionalized scam with respects to postgraduate education in the school. Unilorin has in recent years become the darling of aspiring postgraduate students specifically because of the regular academic calendar. This promise of a fairly predictable graduation date is what often lures students into submitting application for postgraduate studies ranging from MSc, MPhil, and PhD. What the poor students never envisage at the beginning is the fact that they will have to pay through their nose especially at the point of finishing their programme. Our investigations revealed that the Postgraduate school and several departments of the university are in the habit of asking students to pay between N400,000 and up to a little above N1million in order to have a seamless defense of the thesis. A breakdown of this spurious payment reveals that a substantial amount is to be used in paying the external and internal examiners, to cover the cost of feeding and hotel accommodation of the examiners, and to pay the Postgraduate School. We further discovered that all these items are the duties of the University and each university has a budget for catering to these needs, while part of the annual school of fees of about N200,000 paid by each postgraduate student as provided by university guidelines should have gone to individual departments to facilitate the defense process. We also uncovered a disturbing scenario involving covert intimidation of students to make them pay the money without which the defense procedure will not be initialized, and in promise of a favourable outcome PG students often have to part with varying amounts of money generally more than N100,000.

Our question now is: Since the government has made provisions for these needs, what exactly are the departments and Postgraduate school doing with the exorbitant amount of money being collected from the students?

It is high time the Federal Government and in particular its financial crimes commissions (EFCC and ICPC) urgently looked into this disturbing trend in the University of Ilorin.

A. Adeoti, September 2018.

There appears to be a lot of illegality going on within the four walls of University of Ilorin. The case of plagiarism for instance, it appears to be the norm. That ASUU chairman should be sacked and jailed. He is an insult to academic sanity. Now this case of extorting money from PG student about to defend... I think the motto should be changed to "Worse by far".

Check Out this Mean Nigerian Lady Who Says 'She Can Only Marry A Man With A Deceased Mom'.
Meet Cynthia, the lady who prays her future husband’s mum (mother-in-law) to die and not reap the fruit of her labour.
Trust Nigerians na, they served her in her own coin.
A piece for this lady:
There have never been a time when marriages are easy but with time people compromise on beliefs for peace to reign so no matter how mean, demonic, vindictive or whatever name you might chose to call mother in-laws it’s no justification for what you just said young lady.
Imagine your own son’s fiancee who is exactly like you, wishing you death...

RomanceRe: Why Do Men Think They Get To Have An Opinion On People Wearing Makeup by poyebad: 5:23am On Sep 11, 2018
Too much make up can cover a lady's glory true identify.
It can also make her look like brass, or clay pot sprayed with confetti.

Most importantly, too much make up makes a woman carry too much weight on her face, and if the weight is really so much it makes the lady lean forward while the neck hangs down. And a research has linked this to a certain kind of brain problem manifested in faces like the ones attached.

I think NAAT is only using this opportunity to reveal their hatred for lecturers. If one investigates very well, one wouldn't be surprised that NAAT members are doing the same thing. They are probably pained that they have no ready access to female students unlike lecturers.

Take it or leave it, it's not only lecturers that do these things in abuse of the privilege of their offices, doctors do the same, movie producers do the same, bankers do the same, religious leaders d the same... in fact all men with a little power would do it when no one is looking. Do not be deceived, the very legislators and government executives jumping around trying to cain the professor over and over also do the same, if not more. The rule of the game is thus never to be caught and to do it to willing ladies. Because I am certain there are several female students who want such perversion to continue since it provides them easy way to pass without sweating their brain.

The preacher has spoken.

Peace out!

FamilyRe: My Pregnant Girlfriend Wants Abortion. How Do I Convince Her To Keep It? by poyebad: 6:27am On Jul 29, 2018
Lucky you. Your girlfriend wants to abort for you. She is not even trying to tie you down.
Lucky devil.

praxs:
Its not yet confirmed but we are suspecting pregnancy. I am 28yrs of age and my girl is 22years. We started dating not too long. We made love sometime last month and she missed her perioed. We used strip and it shows she is pregnant. We will go for a proper test today to confirm. Now here are the issues disturbing me:

A: She wants abortion but I don't want that: she's a student, hence keeping it will be complicated for her.

B: I have been thinking of ways to convince her but she's adamant, abortion is the best for her. Please more ideas for me on how to convince her. And if I successfully convince her to keep the pregnancy, how do we go about this?

C: Both of us come from a very strick family.

D: I am still thinking of how to report myself to her family. I could end up in police station tho. Do I go straight to see her parents (suicidal), do I go tell their pastor so we could find a way to break it to her parents. Do I go tro her parents siblings?

What is just the best way to report myself?

I need your advice's urgently please, coz we are doing the test this afternoon.

People that sleep with children human beings.

How do you guys do it? On a serious note now; how do you sleep with children and you don't feel like killing yourselves.
Maybe the poor girl did not get swept away; may be she dove into the flood in protest against the child molestation... The parents and the husband deserve to be shot one bullet per day for 7 months.

dainformant:
The tragic death of a young wife has left her husband devastated. The deceased identified as Hindatu Yahaya, was said to have gotten married three days before she was swept away in the massive flood which wrecked havoc in Jibia town in Katsina.
