Lmao, stop defending your sister , afterall if you know what to do, you would not have brought it to nairaland in the first place.
You’re not your sister! You can only know what she wants you to know. Na she Dey relationship with him , technically , you can’t conclude that she didn’t see the sign.
And you said that the guy in question is supportive and caring, definitely she fell for ‘free food’.
As much as you might not want to agree cos it’s a bitter pill to swallow, but then I tell you,
If you sister leaves that relationship and becomes single mother, verily I say unto you, she will regret it.
98% chances are that she will regret it, chances of her marrying a single guy is very slim.

Mind you , single mothers are finding it hard these days, most of them are seen as sex objects. Dem go knack her beyond repair.

I know how she feels , cos it’s not what she wanted, but this life, you can’t have it all. You’ll have to compromise as some point.

Cheers📍
Sorry sir o.

I just want to find out, is there a way that they " can knack someone beyond repair"?

There is nothing like killing two birds with one stone, and which money is he saving?? What happened to the hospital in Aso Rock. Is this how the country will be good. He should send a representative if he is serious and want respect. Imagine the US sending a deputy ass secretary of state to visit our President. Africa leaders should get sense. Send ur representative and govern your country. Leave outside visit for your foreign minister. But we already know the visit is not about summit but his health.
Ok sir.

If it is about his health, may the healing power of God touch him and perfect all that concerns his body, soul and spirit.

Lol 😂 😂 😂 and just two weeks is going out for medical checkup saying is summit. We are not children. We just pray this is the last one. Let him be strong.
That noise of medical.check up seems not to be loud enough from people like you.

At least, you are not denying that there is a summit in France.

If he decides to see his doctors over there, it more like killing two birds with one stone.

It saves Nigeria some money.

You will be well las las.

Your husband has indirectly told you that you’re on your own. So what kind of future do you want for yourself and your children? This should help influence your decision.

About two women I know who found themselves in this kind of situation stayed back in the city because of their children. As long as you’re ready to work hard and generate income for yourself and your children you will be fine. Start talking to everyone you know now as regards job, funds, alternative accommodation etc so that after your husband leaves you won’t be stranded.
Very well said. Especially, your first sentence/. statement.
Family › Re: My Husband Wants Us To Relocate To The Village by ppogba: 3:56pm On Jun 20, 2023
There must have been a reason why God told Abraham to get out of his father's country/ land. So, your husband wanting to go back to his village is more than mystery.

Truth is, it is the powers of his father's house that are extending an invitation to him.

If possible, do not follow him. Reach an amicable resolution concerning this else, he will use it against you later.

What about your own siblings? Is there no way they could come to your aid now?

See, village life no be moi moi oo. Are you ready for farming? Are you prepared to raise your suffering to the power of two?

Get people that can talk to his senses and open his spiritual eyes.

When RCCG says digging deep, Nigerians think say na play.

If you are a lady in this geographical entity called Nigeria and you come in contact with a Romeo, you better do solid findings and dig deeper till you discover crude oil.

The OP was talking about being a single mom and I can not help but laugh like the Asians. Omo, it is not as easy as you think especially for your sister most likely in her twenties.

One area I expect to see a change now that electricity tarrif has been increased is in the area of energy saving.

In my area, hundreds meters before you get home, you would have seen light bulbs that are perpetually on telling you the power situation.

Now, dem no dey tell blind man say rain dey fall.

Nigerians are wasteful really.

Cutezt:
Just a few minutes ago, I was walking down the street to get bread for breakfast, on my way back, I met one guy in the former area I moved from about 3 years ago. After exchanging pleasantries, I was expecting him to go on his way, while I go on mine, but the guy started walking with me o, he started narrating his story to me and why he has been scarce. He said he used to work at one factory, but because of the increase in transportation fare, he was not able to keep up with transporting himself, so he just decided to use that as an excuse to get his annual break, so he can gather enough money to go back, unfortunately, I was not holding cash as I used the last cash on me to buy the bread, my card wasn't with me either, so there was no way to give him anything. He told me he actually came to see a friend of his whom I know, just to come and have breakfast as that is where he comes once in a while to eat, but the guy was not home, so he decided to take a walk when he met me. I felt sorry for him, he started asking if I had even if it was raw rice or garri at home, so I can give him, that was when I knew it was serious.

I just took him home, gave him the rice babe prepared the previous night for us, and after he was done, I had about 1 paint of garri that I bought about 2 months ago. I am not a big fan of garri, either drinking or eating, so I rarely touched the garri. I packaged it for him, and got a few cups of rice for him. He said he had stew at home already. I also had to part with 3k to support his fare back to work.

You need to see how happy this guy was to get ordinary garri.

People are going through a lot, and the government is not putting anything in place to help cushion the effect as the cost of living has continually gone up since. God go help us a sha.
Thou art a good man.

are you trying to say Halima Buhari the daughter of former President Buhari who failed the Bar exams twice while her father was on seat was not an average student?

I'm not even talking about the basic law course done in universities, I'm talking about the professional one year programme at the Nigerian Law School, where former Governor Rotimi Amaechi is currently a student of... It's not something I can explain on the internet, you need to go there to experience it for yourself.
The guy you quoted said a " student above average" and you are saying average. These are two different classes.
Truth is, in any exam, I want to align with the guy that a student above average will pass. Medical school not exempted.
In the case of the lady you mentioned, a lot needs to be unravelled concerning who she passed through her uni. It is not impossible that there were "aids, support and push" here and there. I am not saying her name would have done that for her.
A lady went to the Law School with first class from a public uni I will not mention. She was struggling and the LS had to write her school to confirm that there was no mistake somewhere.
