@ teana4040:- It is the same thing. It is only taken to aid implantation so once you confirm you are pregnant, you can stop

@ Solin:- Please also do a high vaginal swab for microscopy/culture and sensitivity and a seminal fluid analysis with m/c/s too.

@ Piragirl:- Welcome dear and may your stay be short and fruitful. I strongly suggest you remove the fibroid by surgery because once they are blocking the tubes, it is only God that can make you conceive and if you conceive, there's a high risk of ectopic pregnancy which can cause a person to lose the tubes or worse die from severe bleeding if the ectopic pregnancy ruptures the tubes. So prayerfully go for surgery and make sure it is an experienced gynae who has done myomectomies that have been successful and people have been pregnant after it. The fibroids blocking the tubes are enough to cause the infertility for you. Please encourage yourself in The Lord and do not procrastinate, all in all, it is God who gives children and He has promised that there shall none be barren in the land.

This evening I went to have sex with a prostitute (I don't usually do such but it dosent matter now) while have sex the condom broke then I could feel it skin to skin like 10-15sec after it broke I pulled out. but now am scared that I might be exposed to the virus. @ justyouu:- No need of crying over spilt milks go to the nearest general hospital, see a doctor, tell him what happened and they will start you on HAART medications for 1 month to prevent you from contacting the virus if she is HIV positive. Cheers

@ Rejoice03:- You are welcome. Evacroft is right in her calculation. If you want to calculate your bmi next time, the formula is weight divided by height in metre square. Using yours as an example. You weigh 62kg and your height is 5 feet 3 inches. Converted to metres, your height is 1.6metres. So u say 62 divided by 1.6 multiplied by 1.6, so 62 divided by 2.56= 24.2 which is within normal range. So you can write it out somewhere so that when next you need to calculate it, you wouldn't need anyone to do it for you.

@mompurity2:- are you being monitored by a doctor are you following up yourself by yourself. Yes you can take the trigger shot but once you take it, you will ovulate within 12-36 hours of taking it so you bd seriously from the day of the trigger shot so sperm is waiting for the egg when it's released during ovulation.

@ udoomama:- you use TVUS to monitor a clomid cycle not abdominopelvic scan.

@ iomoge:- go ahead with what was previously adviced and let's see how it goes

Gudmornin mamas!@all Af just showed some few minutes ago after cramping on & off since 4dpo. Pls I need advice frm our sabi mamas on wat to do dis cycle. My cycle is regularly btw 28-30days. I knw I ovulate cause I get the O pains & exactly 14days after af shows and I also do see ewcm sometimes. I was on folic acid and vitE 400mg frm 2nd half of dis last cycle. The test have done so far are progesterone,swab,abdominal scan. The Progesterone came out fine and I treated pid and staph already. What else can I do again is exactly a year ago I got a bfp dat ended in MC & I had an evacuation den. Can I use d gueifo bao without doin hsg cause I can't afford d hsg for now. And wat supplement can I use to aid conception dis is becoming frustrating. Am sorry for d long post I just needed to vent.Pls note dat DH fluid is perfect. Pls has anyone used Goko herbal cleanser, is it ok for use?Fertility blessing to us all.

@ Rejoice 03, you cannot be managing infertility without knowing d state of your tubes, you need to save up and do HSG ASAP. You can also follow legendsmother protocol but you must first know the state of your tubes. Extremely important.
If you do not mind, what was seen on the abdominal scan?

@ Imoge:- Please do bpt, TVUS and VHS as you have said. Sometimes pregnancy increases the incidence of vulvovaginal candidiasis so it may be a sign but hold on with the HSG for now. How many days late is your period, what is your normal cycle length as in is it 28,25, 35 etc

@ Shat01, I still insist you go and see a good Gynaecologist. A friend of mine with pcos got pregnant with twins. Your doctor should examine you and give you the best regimen to follow. If you aren't comfortable with the one you have been seeing, you can make enquiries and switch doctors. Cheers babe!!!

N/B:- Some friends of mine with pcos have been fortunate in getting pregnant just by being with a good Gynaecologist and following his prescription. I suggest you do the same.

@ Shat01:- You are welcome here. Hope you have a very short stay and port over to pregnancy thread.

PCOS is a cause of infertility that can be easily managed. (1) Get a good Gynaecologist or RE (2) Lose weight. Your gynae will follow you up. You will not just be taking clomid, he may prescribe metformin and even if he gives you clomid, he will monitor you with blood work and ultrasound scan to be sure you are ovulating. What dosage of clomid were you on? What other investigations have you done. Long and short of it is a good gynae and lose weight by watching your diet and doing exercise dear.

@ udoomama:- ovulation occurs between 12-36 hrs after trigger shot so it's good that you bd. Keep baby dancing. How many mature follicles did u have on ultrasound?

Hi, Your friend should redo his and his wife's genotype at Pathcare Lab on Evo Road, the same place where bridge clinic is. It is expensive but samples are tested in South Africa and their results are verifiable. Your friend's genotype maybe AS and he may have been having wrong results all the while.
