These parastatals are collecting CVs presently, so if u ar interested in any of dem, attach ur CV wit a cover letter and photocopies of ur credentials (Academic & Professional qualifications includin ur NYSC discharge certificate) and forward to their Headquarters in Abuja. Address ur corver letters (typed or hand written) to the commissioner of each of dem, bt for EFCC, address the letter to d Head of human resource department cos theirs is through a designated post office in Abuja. Google their addresses (head office) and write ur cover letters appropriately. Pls forward to others. GOODLUCK TO ALL OF US

Firs update I spoke severaly with very senior staffs and they told me that this is not the main recruitment that is the chairman and oga at the top special recruitment to settle all power blocks in najia....so a thousand firs jobs are available any time soon to the public...by my cal they keep 20 percent of 1250 vacancies for them selfs...they have thousand of hard copy cvs submitted in april they might short list from that pool or open a portal like,police for 1000000 to apply for 1000 jobs......stay bless

Aside the 250 people employed earlier this year who mostly would be filling high positions in FIRS like directors ,d.directors , state co ordinators and the likes FIRS has employed more persons from the remainder 1000 this there are lesser slots available now . All the best folks

Oga ,you can't get cheap masters for a years course in a good school,unless you won go philliphines,bangladesg ,taiwan and singapore..uk is a year,but its expensive ..its either you do uK masters,go to those mumu countries,or stay in naija and do 18 months....for me its not the time ist the quality of education and what I finish with..but its your choice sha!!!

Great qualifications but poor portfolio. My advice for you is, stop furthering for now. Try to get a job first and build your professional experience. Later, locate where you can lecture with your M.Sc and later opt in for Ph.D. Work experiences are better than study experiences, and one recommendation is better than one hundred certifications. That's my piece.

I will prefer the job myself. PhD without experience isnt eyecatching enough to me! Getting the job is more important to me but unfortunately, yet to land one... Thanx for the aadvice

Am exactly in your shoes man.. I completed my MSc degree(bsc accounting and msc international accounting, with four publications, #2 scopus#) at age 24 from a foreign university and yet to get job... Tot competition wont be much in my place considering that am from the northeastern part of the country, but i was wrong..! Just like you stil, i have an offer of place for PhD in the school i graduated from and also got one in newzealand. Considering the cost involved, i kinda of stucked. Am thinking of registering for ICAN/ANAN instead. Someone should look into my case please

A colleague of mine is currently battling with leukemia (cancer of the blood). The sickness started as back pain, docs were not able to detect it quiet earlier.
