Think of it this way, you've been subscribing to MTN 1gb per month for a year.

Then for 3 month you didn't subscribe to the data plan. Within that 3 month, MTN didn't allow you to browse.

Then the fourth month you want to subscribe again to that same 1gb per month and then MTN ask you to pay for the 3 previous month.

Is that not ridiculous?

If MTN had allowed you to use their services, then you know you are owing them but since they blocked your access, it means they've not offered any services to you for that 3 month, so why should they even demand payments for it?

Truehost shut down my website for 3 months and now they are asking me to pay for the 3 months. Why should I pay them exactly? For shutting down my site?..

Please I'm new to web hosting services and decided to try a Nigerian host.

So my website has been suspended since December of last year.

Yesterday, I decided to make payment only to be told that I'll have to make payment for the month of December, January and then February this month before my account can be restored.

Is this how things are done in the hosting industry?

Note: all through the 3 months, I didn't use their services since my account was suspended.

So am I paying for the time or service cos I no De understand right now.

The hosting company is Truehost.

Coming back to your argument, Jesus's predictions of the end time is nothing unique, more generic.

Hear me out, first of all, the supposed end time prophecy has no time period which beats the purpose of a prophecy.

This is why Christians at every age of the world tend to think that they are at the end time each time they hear of wars or experiences it.

Over 2,000 years, Christians of various generations continue to suffer ridicule because when they feel the prophecies are being fulfilled, it seems their God just postpone it to another date, farther away from the time they thought.

Of course, we all can absorb Jesus of these mistakes because he says no one, not even himself knows the time he will return.

But if the signs he gives for his second coming is anything to go by then it's nothing to go by.

This is because wars and rumors of wars are part of humanity. Humans have fought countless battles across the ages, they even fought at the time Jesus was on earth and Isreal was under the Romans by force.

So why do Christians behave as though it was only when Jesus talked about wars that war actually began on earth?

It's like saying during the end time, people will start drinking water, of course people have been drinking water before that time and after him people are still drinking water.

Wars and rumors of wars will always be with us as they have always been with us, it's nothing unique.

He could have predicted something more time stamping like, "as my second coming draws near, man would have traveled to the moon, man would have uu flying without wings, at that time, man would have invented things like horse cart but moves without horses"

The people at that time would have mocked him to death, but us who are living in this generation would have been amazed and even running to him as we see the event unfolding.

When the periodic table was invented, the inventor was so confident that he left empty spaces for elements that were not yet discovered at that time.

People mocked him and his table of empty spaces but today, he's vindicated, because not only did we find new elements that fill up those spots but also found them to be very similar to the properties he ascribed to them.

Now, that's prophecy without time line. We at the end of the spectrum saw his light and he's vindicated.

People need to understand something, an association like ASUU cannot just wake up and decide that they won't do the work they are being paid for.

If they do that, the government can sue them.

I was gifted a laptop BUT it didn't come with any OS.
Please, how do I install Linux on it?

It's very easy actually.

You need to have a USB stick (USB drive). It should be 4gb minimum.

There are many different types of Linux. These are called Distributions or Distros for short.

As a new user, I'd recommend you go for kubuntu or zorin or Linux mint.

The above Distros are very close to windows in look and will work as normal after installation. I'd recommend kubuntu as your first choice, it's quite stable.

Anyways, which ever Distros you Decided to chose, download it to your system (this will be tricky since you don't have an os on your system, it's best you get windows on it first or borrow a laptop to download it).

After downloading the os, install a bootable disk maker.

I'd recommend balena etcher, it's easy and straightforward.

Download and install balena etcher on the system you are using.

Now plug in your USB drive and open the balena app.

Click on 'flash from file', choose the iso file, select target location which will be your USB and then click on flash.

It'll take some time to flash.

After flashing, remove the disk and plug it in your system.

It'll boot from the USB drive and you can try the Linux app or choose install and it'll be installed.
