When you are going out with a girl for the first time, they tend to be extra affectionate to any male friends they meet on the road.

I've seen it happen over and over again. Some will hug guys they've never hug before in your presence, I don't really know what they are trying to prove sha.

Yesterday I witnessed a very pathetic situation at the bar where I work.

I feel very sorry for one of the guys and the other I just can't stand looking at him.

At the bar where I was bartending, a guy and a girl walked in. I know the girl quite well (at least in old times).

Naturally when I know someone I tend to go greet them warmly. She was expecting that.

But since she was on a date with the guy (I could tell that by their dressing), I kept my distance a little and only waved and smiled at her.

Naturally, regardless of how much I like a girl or she likes me, I tend to give her space when she's with another guy because I find it disrespectful when I myself I'm talking to a girl and another guy jumps in.

Especially those that talks non-stop.

Sha after they requested for drinks, I asked the other server girl to attend to them.

Because I know if I go there, she will likely want to do some catching up.

After serving the drinks, she and her guy began talking and stuff.

Then as though someone waved at or called her (I wasn't paying much attention due to rush hour yesterday) she stood up and walked to the back of the bar.

There she spent almost 20 minutes with those guys while the guy she came in with sat all lone fidgeting and constantly looking up to see me looking at him ( kinda embarrassing)

She later came back.

But with one of those guys. And here's the most annoying part, the new guy saw the other guy she came in with and instead of excusing himself, he actually sat down on one of the chairs around the table.

The spent almost the next one hour gisting with the 'original' guy looking on helplessly.

Like why will you do that to a fellow guy?


Sha, personally I really pitied the guy yesterday because he tried to be gentlemanly and kept nodding at their conversations.

But I could see him being uncomfortable. And angry because he later stood up, took a lil walk in circles and then abrubtly asked for the bill.

And when they were about to leave, the guy also followed her at the back while the other walked in front.

WTF man!

Personally, I hate intruding in other guys' space, just as I hate others in mine when I am with a girl.

I understand some girls tend to be extra affectionate to friends they meet when they are out on a date with a new guy.

This is because they want to show the guy that they have some values, friends and options too.

Not really because they don't like the new guy.

And even if she doesn't like the guy, respect the gentle and let him have his date in peace, you can always meet her again.

Personally, I don't take such nonsense from anyone. I will always ask you to stand up or leave us because I want to discuss something.

I think a lot guys should learn this simple audacity. If a guy is intruding in your space, don't keep quiet and smile.

Two minutes after he talks with your girl, tell him to excuse you guys looking straight in his eyes.

If you are on a date with a girl and she wants to go greet other people, tell her no. Or better still give her time frame.

Most importantly, please don't be a boring date. Learn how to tease girls and make them have fun.
