it may interest u to know that when morgenthau made the statement, FDR's regime was only six years in office, but the usual politicking made him say ''after eight'' yrs in office . . . .  abegi, . . . make we no begin now.  . . . . these rush people self . . . . . suddenly morgenthau comes up in the issue of the day. where was his argument for the past 70yrs as history was being made.

the new deal did not end the depression. agreed. but unemployment went down from about 25% when FDR entered to about I4% when the US joined the 2nd world war.

dow can fall into a pit . . . if it wants to . . . . after all, it didnt start falling today. it started with the republican white house. anyway, the fall will continue for some time. dow wont just jump up b/c obama is in the white house. it was inherited, it will continue for some time. even obama said so. but it would be disatrous in the future if nothing is done toarrest it now. the new deal didnt stop the depression immediately FDR got into office, but within a short while, things improved. same will happen now.

Its obvious U have not been to Nigeria in a long time. My friend, Nigeria is a whole different kettle of fish. We can all stay overseas and write beautiful posts about the way things are supposed to be done but the truth of the matter is that Nigeria is something else.
