Anyways . . . you are right in that Hillary's quote is rendered considerably less potent when taken in context of the transcript. I first heard the story in passing, and looked it up on youtube. I even tried to get the longest video - and not from FN self - I could find so as to get the whole story (who goes searching for transcripts of speeches anyways? only David perhaps? )

this is how democrats laughed and republicans won massachusetts. it's about communications. in 2004, a lot of nonsense was said about john kerry, he ignored it and without knowing it, people believed those nonsense. this is not when to laugh, this is the time for democrats to move out and campaign on the pledge of the republicans.

As per the economy, he promised b4 the stimulus that unemployment will not rise. He said we should take him at his word. Said he should be held responsible. And I'm like, is he sure? after the republican primary in delaware, instead of the democrats to get their acts together, they were busy rejoicing that o'donell won the gop nominations, that she will be a loosing candidate. i remember massachusettes(spelling?). these democrats should get their acts together and do some real campaign and stop gloating over the tea party victory over the gop. they are one and the same. diff sides of the same coin. and mrs o'donell is no palin. she sounds intelligent. she is not scared of the media. she did well in her first debate(didnt watch it fully but if she messed up it would have been all over the media. it wasnt, so she didnt mess up)

thank you for showing some sense. i was wondering if everybody has gone crazy in nigeria. i'll rather those students use their energy and enthusiasm to turn out en masse on election day, and more importantly guard their votes and make sure no one steals the ballot box and that the elections are not rigged. if we start using violence to block the rights of politicians we dont like, we may be setting a horrendous precedence that may haunt us for decades if not centuries.
