PoliticsRe: All Political Parties Must Present Northern Candidates - Acf by preselect(m): 2:01am On Aug 11, 2010
Yaradua was said to be honest( I debate that) but definitely he had no strong character. His cabinet was not only full of dishonest people but they controlled him a lot. So honesty and strong character are not the story of yaradua. He was weak
PoliticsRe: All Political Parties Must Present Northern Candidates - Acf by preselect(m): 1:47am On Aug 11, 2010
Contrary to general belief, you don't need experience to be a good leader. What you need most are honesty and strong character. What experience did Lincoln or Washington have before they became president. Have an honest guy with a strong character that can't be pushed around and there we go.

Can't think of ANY!
Who else other than Abacha could put a Christian to administer KANO and nothing happened?!
I doubt if even the Evil Genius could have such guts!
Bayelsans would everly be grateful for their own state.
And these are just tip of the iceberg!

I have no problem with fox news. Obama and co are my problem. I'd you are plAying a game of soccer, you don't complain when your opponents are playin well but if your own team mates are effing up then you have a problem. Obama and co are in my team and they are effing up.

I wish you luck expecting objective journalism from fox.
Foreign AffairsRe: Fox News And The Chicken Democrats by preselect(op): 3:27am On Jul 27, 2010
i completely agree. the poor misunderstood people at fox have always been telling us the truth.
that is why they told us the truth about shirley sherrod
they also told us the truth about weapons of mass destruction in iraq
they told us the truth about the death panels in the health care reform bill
they told us the the truth about the birth certificate
they told the truth about obama's religion being islam
then they told the truth about his pastor.

now mr sly, my very good friend and fellow fox news watcher, brings new information about obama(socialist) being a part of the bildenberg group most of whom are big time capitalists and obama the socialist works hand-in-glove with them.

i think fox news should get an award. honestly, they have tried. love them or hate them. the POTUS is afraid of them.

but seriously, Obama just embarrased me with the apparent fear of what glenn beck thinks. i'm just so embarrased. and i hear the democrats have abandoned their cap-n-trade climate bill? is that true? they have not been able to push ahead with jobs bill. phew!!! who the hell are these democrats working for? honestly sly may be right about obama working for this bildeberg group. just that i feel both parties work for those guys
Foreign AffairsRe: Fox News And The Chicken Democrats by preselect(op): 7:22pm On Jul 22, 2010
I'm not here to criticise fox news, they are doing great and one must give them credit for it wether you like their job or not. But my problem is the democrats who look so scared of fox news that I can't get it. Obama seems to be more worried about fox news than about the young kids dying everyday in unnecessary wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Shame. I'm so ashamed. What an expose
Foreign AffairsRe: Glenn Beck Says He May Go Blind by preselect(m): 7:17pm On Jul 22, 2010
@slyfox
I agree with you. Fully
@ omofat
I understand where you are coming from. Sometimes you just hate someone and find it hard to cry for thecperson. Bachmann and palin may be wako politicians, but beck and limbaugh feed on hatred. They sow seeds of hate. I would have found him entertaining if I wasn't afraid some listener may take him serious and act on it.
But even at that, he is a father and also Gods creation. Let him have his sight.

First it was edited videos against acorn, later found to be full of deception and currently under prosecution in California, but US senate with majority democrats jumped without investigation to vote anti acorn legislations.

Today it is another edited video of a great woman potrayed as evil by fox and her agents and Obama and his chicken democrats jumped without thinking to attack the woman. Even NAACP. Who runs things in Washington? Obama and co don't even know the meaning of president of the US.
These guys are so afraid of fox news that I can't get it.

I wonder

If they followed the laws of new York then they should be allowed to build their mosque and we can change he topic. There are better things to discuss. The right wing just wants to rev up their base.

The greatest enemy of he 9-11 families is the bush administration which didn't do its duty at the time to prevent an attack by readingthe securityreports and acting accordingly.
Foreign AffairsRe: Glenn Beck Says He May Go Blind by preselect(m): 4:34pm On Jul 20, 2010
I hope he is joking? Bc it will be too bad for him to loose his sight. And moreover, it will be blamed on Obama.
Anyway, I pray his sight remains intact.

@omofat
don't say that. I know some of these people are evil but when you say that, there is no difference between you and them.

i'm here jesoul. for all i care, it could be republicans in the white house today. bc i keep looking at obama and all i see is republican leaning moves. he cant pull out of afghanistan in a useless war with no goal other than to continue the war and keep lining the pockets of the republican infested military industrial complex. . . giving more contracts to private military outfits e.g XE. , more contracts to halliburton etc. i'm so ashamed of every little resource i contributed to his campaign.
health reform without public option is a sham. classical 419 by the obama gang to decieve liberals. that was no reform.
wall street reform. . . i'm no economist, but when i talk to people with the know how, they tell me the current bill is full of tricks. no real reform.
offshore drilling, he capitulated to the right, then BP happens, . . . and he gets the blame grin . . good for him . . idiot
dont ask dont tell . . . . hmmmn, abracadabra . . . grin . . . he cant use executive power to ''stop loss''. he cant push his colleagues in congress to move fast, then they come up with political arithmetic, we repeal it but the pentagon will review it b4 . . . what? wayo
the democrats in congress are no better. except for a few dems like pelosi, kucinic, grayson and the senator from vermont(independent), brown of ohio and a few others. the rest of the democrats can as well change party. how can obama support senator lincoln(the republican in democrat clothes from arkansas) against a real democratic party challenger?and then white house sources ''boast'' that the unions wasted millions of dollars trying to change lincoln. which party is in the white house? who is this obama self? whose side is he on? i'll rather have full republicans in the house than fake democrats. so let sarah go ahead and win everything. the republicans deserve success this yr bc most of the democrats are just plain idiots. infact i smell a conspiracy. perhaps they are working secretely for the republican agenda . . who knows.

even hot headed nobamatic republican-party-of-no senators agreed that the general misbehaved and should be fired. he raised no issue but even if he raised important issues he was stupid to do so this way and has made a hopeless stain on his otherwise outstanding military service. all normal people opposed this nonsense [s]. . . . well . . . .except . . . . . some obama haters in nairaland and some bitter hilary supporters here[/s] grin

good thing he was fired. bomboclaat. next mission for obama is to withdraw from afghanistan as soon as possible cool
and cameron should also pull out the british troops ASAP. angry

Tayo-D:
2. Who was responsible for turning down help from other countries immediately following the disaster?

7. Who makes the final decision on what approach is adopted to fight the spill?
http://www.energy-daily.com/reports/US_taps_into_foreign_assistance_for_Gulf_oil_spill_999.html

i have no claims to a monopoly of knowledge. but i often find time to check and cross check. and i find that the US has accepted foreign asistance
But the State Department said it was considering all offers of aid with care.

"All offers of assistance are considered promptly and carefully, are expedited if needed, and are appreciated greatly by the American people as we address this threat to our Gulf Coast," it said in a statement.

also, last time i checked, the US is not the one that decides which approach is used to stop the spill. it was BP who talked of top-hat, hot-tap etc methods. the govt is not designed to stop spills. unless the govt has been expanded.

your response pls

SportsRe: Nigeria Vs South Korea: 2 - 2 @ World Cup 2010, June 22 by preselect(m): 2:27am On Jun 24, 2010
this problem is beyond kaita. even with ten men, if the team was good, they could have at least played a draw. australia played a draw with ten men against ghana. uruguay did same against france.
look at the game against korea. was kaita there?
infact the problem is bigger than the skills. those guys are skillful. but as a part of the nigerian problem, there is no discipline, no team work, everybody wan shine. lack of discipline as we can see in our lawmakers.

and it is time for local coaches. if usa can use local coach to do well, why cant we do the same? lets use our local coaches. if we get eliminated or if we dont qualify for the world cup-so what?let it be. after all soccer is not our #1 problem in nigeria. let's keep using them. one day, they will learn or better still the players will learn how to respect local coaches.

if we can use local president, lecturers, doctors, engrs etc why cant we use local coaches? after all qualifying for the world cup with a local coach means we are among the world's best 32. whereas in govt we are among the world's worst 5 and yet we dont ask for foreign presidents or senators.

yeah right mr tayo d wink

obama has been golfing, and tennissing and musical concerting all these weeks . . . . grin innit?

but he's been to the gulf 4-5times, he pushed BP to agree to a $20b pay to ease the pain of the region. even though he does not care about them grin
he has sent the national guard there, he appointed a guy to take charge there on daily basis . . even though he doesnt care about them. right? . .
tayo d cheesy you dey try. let me tell you this, obama is not, and will never be, jesus christ. (even though sometimes i think he feels he's the saviour of the world and champion of world peace)
Foreign AffairsRe: General Mccrystal: Why Obama Must Act by preselect(op): 6:29pm On Jun 23, 2010
possibly. but mostly the generals have disregard for democratic presidents. . . . truman, kennedy, carter, clinton . . and now obama. mcarthur overtly disrespected truman(truman was a frontline soldier in WW1 when mcarthur was an senior officer.)
even bush that ''dodged'' vietnam service was given more respect among the military brass. i dont know why.
