PoliticsRe: Adeola Of Sahara TV Brings Keeping It Real To An End After Mugabe Encounter by pressplay411(m): 9:57am On Jun 12, 2015
I can't believe even my esteemed Nairalanders are defending a Despotic, tyrant and Autocratic president like Mugabe instead of showering praises and accolades of courage on the journalist in question.

This is someone doing her job and all she did was tell a tyrant leader surrounded by sycophants and yes-men the Truth, putting both her career and life at risk to stand up for justice.

And what is she getting in return?
-Her show gets cancelled.
-Her boss is probably blaming her for taking the plunge?
-Her colleagues are probably deriding her as we usually do down here (haters avenue)
-The people she's speaking are also rejecting her (Who send am?)

And we wonder why Africa is backwards and Retrogressive?

SportsRe: 10 Kinds Of People You Meet In A Betting Shop by pressplay411(m): 7:58am On Jun 07, 2015
The rate of betting in Nigeria now is so alarming. This reflects a high level of desperation in our populace due to lack of means of living. No jobs, no hopes. Majority of our youth have resorted to Sports betting and Baba ijebu as their only hope for survival. Sadly the habit of betting is unpredictable, before you know it majority have turned to chronic gamblers which may end up ruining their lives in the future.
Blame the govt esp GEJ's admin cos this vice grew exponentially under him.
SportsRe: Sepp Blatter To Resign As Fifa President by pressplay411(m): 7:06pm On Jun 02, 2015
MosakuAW:
Good news! How can someone rule for 16years.

I tot ruling for long period only happens in Africa.

Fifa needs to put a lot of things in place and the new president must get it right.

Bye bye Blatter, u can as well join GEJ in Otuke.
Actually Fifa seems to condone long term presidents. Joao Havelange before him was president for 24 years. There are still others that stayed longer than Sepp with Rimet Jules ruling the longest as President for 33yrs.
Although I'm not trying to defend him but I think he earns some points by honorably stepping down amid all the allegations in the best interest of a sport we can't deny he genuinely loves.
PoliticsRe: Aisha Buhari’s Inauguration Wristwatch Cost £34,500 (N10, 453,000)-BreakingTimes by pressplay411(m): 10:00pm On Jun 01, 2015

Hahahahaha

Buhari is not corrupt, while his wife is rocking 10million wrist watch.

I laugh in pakistan cheesy

grin grin grin
Aisha would not buy watch of N10m and she would not accept it as a gift if she knew it cost so much. Those putting dis cost are d oil fraudsters dat will buy watch worth N200k for N10m. Dat is how foolish ppl squander Nigeria's money.
PoliticsRe: Buhari Walk The Talk (apc Manifesto At A Glance) by pressplay411(m): 8:00pm On Jun 01, 2015
cuteboy2:
It seems he is actually systematically breaking the promises.

Three promises broken so far:

1. Public declaration of assets
Buhari's Action: Buhari and Osibanjo declared their assets secretly, a classical move locking the barn front door while leaving the back door wide open for the horse to bolt anytime it feels like.

2. No Office of First Lady
Buhari's Action: Official portrait of Aisha Buhari released last week. Aisha actually assumed that office even before the husband was inaugurated on 29th May. She led Nigerian delegation to the Conference in Argentina as First-Lady Elect mid May 2015.

3. Trim Size of Government bureaucracy.
Buhari's Action: Buhari announced today, 1st June 2015 the appointment of 2 media aides (Garba Shehu and Femi Adesina, current Chief Editor of Sun newspaper) in one fell swoop!!! Why does the President need two media aides? huh
From Intellectuals to Barbarians.

This reversed transmogrification eludes me. Sore losers I understand but these unintelligent and childish ones from GEJites and TANoids I just can't...
All those crying foul over assets declaration need to be re-schooled. The President together with his Vice have declared their assets already as promised. In due time it will be made public. Even Late Yar Adua declared publicly after a month into his administration. It's barely a day since these moronic detractors started hounding them. Why didn't you hound your "Hero" from Otuoke?
If you did not support or vote for Buhari sorry you lost your ethical and civil right to question his governance. All you can do is wait after 4 years to thank him or tell us "I told you so."
Until then just silently follow the news on the new administration and simply read it and weep.
This silliness has to stop!

APC manifesto is nothing but a pipe dream.
I pity their die-hard zombie fans.
Y'all so used to incompetence that the thought of a a performing president sounds so foreign.
Don't worry since you didn't vote for Buhari your opinion obviously doesn't count until 4 years time.
PoliticsRe: Why Buhari Didn’t Make Assets Public – Aides by pressplay411(m): 3:12pm On Jun 01, 2015
[quote author=barcanista post=34297775]I wouldn't have had any problem if the Media Aide of Buhari didn't LIE that Buhari has "fulfilled" his pledge by declaring with CCB..

"By declaring their assets, the statement said that President Buhari and Vice President Osinbajo may have not only fulfilled the requirements of the Nigerian Constitution, but also fulfilled the first of their many campaign promises."---

Deductive reasoning toh bad.Lol To me what I deduce is that Buhari's original certificate hasn't been found. Can we move on now? As long as INEC is satisfied with his credentials what does any one's opinion count? GMB For President 2015 jare.
EventsRe: What Is Black Friday? by pressplay411(m): 9:15am On Nov 29, 2014
This is our problem in Nigeria. We never value or support our own brands.
Where is Jumia or Konga or Spar or the other major shops on your list sir. They obviously recognized Black Friday too, successfully or not.
We remain as I've always maintained, our own problem.

So how do jumia agents operate?I am in the East and most of us around here have serious difficulty shopping with Jumia. Most times i see things that i like but i don't even know where to start even though the money's available.I can almost say confidently that most of us around here know about jumia but the problem's how to gain access to you guys.Everything's Lagos and abuja. What of Enugu,Abia,Ebonyi etc?Your web site's good sha but it's not doing enough for us around here.Maybe it's because we are far away from Lagos.
I'm glad to inform you that Jumia operates very well in the East as well. Just that while Lagos and Abuja enjoy some free delivery services, same doesn't apply over there, obviously due to the higher cost of getting the products from the pick-up station all the way down there, but it's still cost-effective.

Please send me an email so we can share more personal details.
Thanks

My order has been delivered to me. Been playing the game already if you read thru my posts. I really don't see the point of having agents when Jumia deliver directlty to customers
Having agents may seem redundant to you cos you're used to placing orders already.
But purchasing through agents has it's advantages, viz;

-You're guaranteed you're placing your order correctly with no mistakes.
-You have someone (a face) you can hold responsible if anything were to go wrong with your delivery to ensure your issues are duly rectified.
-You might be too busy to sift through the large Jumia market to find the product of your choice, I will take the time to get your desired product and at the best price for you.
-I'll keep you updated if any promos are going on... Jumia promos are amazing and mind-blowing by the way.
-Buying from me, you get some discount, little as it may be.

There you have it, so buying through an agent is not as pointless as you think sire.
Do let me know if you have any more orders to make.
Thanks
