Amen to your prayer Bro. I haven't heard from them yet, since they replied my mom last week that it was under review. I equally wrote them like a week after my mom wrote them using the link tj28 gave me. They replied me 2days ago saying it was under review too. My mom called them and they told her to call them again beginning of the month. Am just praying they send everything once. Me sef I wan give Una goodness this month end. *smiles*

No, you are not F2B like @Elfmann said. F2B is Unmarried Adult Children of Permanent Residents. If your Wife is a USC, then your category is CR1 ( conditional relative/spouse if u have been married for less than 2yrs. But if u have been married for more than 2yrs, that's IR1( Immediate relative ) and there is no waiting times for this cases, hence Una matter no concern VISA BULLETINS. Once USC approves your case and it moves to NVC, you are contacted immediately to continue your process. Check your file well because for your priority date to be June 2017, you are either in the CR1/IR1 category. You can also find out from your Wife, So that you are fully prepared during your interview. At this point you should not even be confused as to the category you fall in.

@Fayose4Presdent, u said your category is F2B and your Question was based on U.S citizen spouse, Which category happens to be CR1/IR1 as the case may be. Or is your wifey an LPR, in that case your category should be F2A not F2B, unless you were making an inquiry for someone else . And your P. D is June 2017, Abi Na mistake??

Koolkesh and Stancima were actually right. My visa was issued the following day after my interview. I didn't hear from DHL till 4 days after though and I think it took them that long due to the Eid-el- fitri holidays.

The 2nd cut off dates Chart on the Visa bulletin still shows Jan 2012 for F1 category and then 2011 for F2B once that moves, u will receive your welcome letter. It has been like that since last year. Guess they want to treat all the cases that received their welcome letter last year before it moves again.

Thank u my Sister. The joy I had yesterday was indescribable. Even the VO was laughing when she saw d way I reacted d moment she gave d approval. Everybody was just looking at me d way I was just blushing on my way out...It was really a great experience. How far with ur opting out?

Yes ooo, I can just imagine the Joy. As per the opting out, they just wrote us that they have received our letter and that's is under review. I don't know maybe they are waiting for the bulletin to come out before making their decision. Na God hand I put everything.

Got there early and got on the queue, we were given numbers and ushered into the immigrant section. Medicals, birth certificate, police report , Passport photographs and international passport were collected and later we were called to take our fingerprints. Then a young black American lady called me for the interview which went thus.

VO: What's your surname
me: Told her
VO : Who petitioned for u ? , What does she do?, How long has she been in the US? Do u have any pictures together? Are u married? , do u have kids?, asked for my parents names and also asked questions about my other sibling that was petitioned alongside with me but hasnt gotten an interview date yet. Then finally she said I will just go ahead and approve ur visa and gave me two white papers. That's all

The only email I got from nvc concerning opt out was that I should get in touch with dhs and indicate the benefit of opt out bla bla. At the footer of the email my category had changed to f2b. I never got anything like under review
However I didn't write a letter. I used

There's option of opt out where you have "your question"

Oh ok. You might want to convince. Like @stancima wrote, I don't think you have anything to lose. Its either they approve or not. It doesn't slow down your process in anyway. That's my opinion though

@tj28, Did u get a response from NVC that you have been converted to F2B or did they first write that they have received your letter and it's under review.
